Door-dash is the best ever food ordering platform. Compared to their competitors they have more restaurants listed and have better customer service. They give good offers too. I got my services fees reduced and got discount too (attached picture) Recommended
DoorDash = Cold Food The weather hasn't even gotten really cold yet. But since DoorDash drivers don't use thermal bags properly for most of the deliveries I have received, I get cold food. I've seen, on multiple occasions, the driver will take my pizza off the back seat of his car and put it in a thermal bag to bring it up to the door. Too often I get the pizza handed to me in the pizza box after having never been in a thermal bag. I've stopped ordering online for some restaurants because they use DoorDash. All this and you tip before delivery, so you are tipping for cold food.
FIRST time using doordash tonight, and NEVER plan to use them again. I placed an order, it showed it had been delivered so I went outside to retrieve it. It wasn't where I requested it be left so I looked around and did not find it. I contacted doordash and an online chat agent made statements before really looking into the matter which I took offense to. Examples:
"Our records show the dasher has dropped off the food at your location, so we will not be able to offer you a refund for this order. I'm sorry, I know this must be frustrating. "
"I can understand where you are coming from., I'd be glad to contact the driver. We run a series of automated checks on our customers' accounts, and your account did not pass one of these checks. It is our policy to not process requests for compensation in this case".
After reviewing the photo the dasher sent and looking at my neighbors houses I figured out they delivered it next door to a Senior Care Home and someone took the order. It was 9:30 PM at night and I'm having to knock on my neighbors door. The house was dark and no one answered so I let doordash know what I had figured out and told them how much I didn't appreciate the statements made before they had all their facts. I am awaiting a response from a Supervisor.
BTW, I've had pretty good experiences with Uber Eats, they update you regularly and there can be communication between the driver and yourself if needed.

It was a wonderful company for convenience sake, but very quickly you find the customer service is lacking, the financial department is down right fraudulent, and the business model is exploitative.
The company advertised several times promotions that were not valid in my country just to lure me into buying a "dashpass" subscription service, only until I bought it, prepared to order, and checked out did I find out it was not valid. Then, they refused to refund the subscription even though it was clearly false advertising. Finally, they double charged me on top of not refunding the subscription service.
When confronted, the customer service representatives and "manager" insisted the "refund would not be valid as you used the promotion", even though the "promotion" was never valid in my country. On top of that, they charged two more times for the subscription even though THEY had canceled it without refund two months ago. I had to complain to my bank about the fraudulent charges and I am now awaiting resolution.
Use them if you must during the pandemic, but run away as soon as you no longer need them.
Fraudulent financial department, mentally incapable customer service, and down right illogical minds working for their company.

I'm still owed a 79.87 refund to my CC for food that was never delivered due to an error with their app! Talked to three morons from DoorDash customer service and none of them could figure out WTF happened to my refund. Now I can't even get a response from DoorDash regarding the refund so I'm waiting for it to post to my CC so that I can dispute it immediately. In the meantime I've filed complaints for fraud and theft against doordash with the FTC and BBB and I urge others to do the same!

On Saturday 04/13/19 my experience went beyond bad. I felt harassed and uncomfortable. My order was placed and then promptly picked up. I then noticed the driver icon on the app was driving in the opposite direction of my location. After 30 minutes (and I was only 5 minutes away from the restaurant) I attempt to contact help/customer service, I was on hold for 15minutes, as the driver pulled up. She rudely shoved my food at me and when confronted the driver about taking my order around town she was rude in her body language, tone and eye rolling she stated she was making an Uber delivery. I had placed a DoorDash order so her Uber obligations are not my concern. I voiced that I would be making a complaint and she stated she can't control where they send her. She then proceeded to sit outside my place of work directly outside my office and Stare into my window at me for more than 5 minutes. She had no business to remain there and it was unsettling. The containers to my food looked as if they had been opened I had to throw it away as I am concerned she may have done something to it. I have made several attempts to continue to get in contract with DoorDash as I was charged, and had a horrible experience. To date, I have not received any resolution.

I was a driver for DoorDash and found out more you tip less they pay us I drove 8 miles in DoorDash paid me 3 dollars and I got 5 in tip so if you do use order DoorDash don't tip in the app make them pay their drivers Better off don't use them

So today I hesitantly placed another order with Door Dash, even after they messed up my last 5 orders in a row. Dear God, what was I thinking?!
I received a call from the pickup driver asking if someone picked up my order, because the restaurant told them another dasher picked it up. So apparently he called DD support and they told him another drive got the order and not to wait or deliver to me. Then I get a notification that the order was delivered. Not to me it wasn't, nor my office, or even my building. So I called DD support and they said they were going to send a new driver and issue a $10 credit. I'm already super upset and I tell the rep that $10 is unacceptable, considering their markup and the tips the driver receives. Still waiting for my order.
So this gets better. The last order I placed was wrong, just totally wrong. The order before that, the driver made me walk down the street to pick it up from his car and then told me that if I didn't like his service I could file a complaint. The order before that was a sushi order where 5 sushi rolls were smashed together into one big pile of fish and rice. DD takes no responsibility for their drivers or their restaurants associated with the company. Furthermore, all of their call centers are outsourced with reps reading from a script.
At this point I just can't believe I'm having another issue with this company, it's almost comical. I'm not using them anymore and I'm going to be calling my bank to dispute the order from today, because this is just totally unacceptable.

I love how fast Door Dash service is. My food is always hot. They deliver in all kinds of weather and they are here within minutes. I prefer Door Dash over any other delivery service.

DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY!
We have been using door dash for a bit and I can say all of the advertising does not mention the complete lack of customer service and negligence by this company and its employees.
If we break it down this company essentially takes the place of servers in a restaurant. But if you dont pay attention, you are required to tip the drivers before they bring your food. This creates a complete lack of quality of service. We have experienced missing orders, items missing and late orders. This has resulted in many call to the home company.
In talking to the corporate company this is the same as talking to the manager at a restaurant. Usually they are understanding and in a face to face encounter in public people are forced to work together and solve the problem. The inherent problem with this company is that they can just ignore you.
The only way to bring about a better process with a company or restaurant is to work threw the problems Door Dash does not do this. They dont keep there employees (the drivers) in check and the service is getting progressively worse.
This spells doom for any company and I just want others to be aware so they dont fall prey to this poor excuse for a business.

I ordered 2 quartz of ice cream from Baskin Robbins, it was supposed to be 2 for $9.99. I have a receipt from the Door Dasher showing me that it was the correct price. Door Dash charged me $26.13 for 2 Quarts of ice cream! Even Baskin Robbins is not THAT GOOD! So, I contacted Door Dash CS, sent a copy of the receipt from Baskin Robbins and they refuse to refund me. They DOUBLE CHARGED ME, and added $4 tax plus my tip! I will never ever use this Door Ripoff again!

I was sent a coupon for $10 off $25 with an expiration date of 6/14. I try to use the code on my order before the expiration date and it said that the coupon is expired.
I have screenshots of the code sent and the message received when I tried to use it. Contacted customer service and sent them this information and the only thing they said they could do was credit my doordash account AFTER I placed an order! This is not right. I was told that it couldn't be given to me for my current order because they had no proof that it wasn't used, I sent them the screenshot of it saying the coupon was expired as well as my coupon with the expiration date and still was given no kind of help!
I'm furious at the situation at this point, no one even tried to help me even though what I said made perfect sense and the admitted it was a system error!
Never again will doordash be getting any of my money. I will write this review on every possible outlet I can find, I hope a $10 credit was worth the bad publicity.

I tried applying to be a delivery driver for the door-dash company. I applied online and have extensive experience with the restaurant industry as well as the customer service industry. I am very personable, considerate and charismatic; a real people person. Despite the aforementioned I made a mistake in my youth and became incarcerated. I believed my incarceration would not be an issue as it was 9 years ago that I was arrested. Upon them reviewing my background check, Door-dash wanted an explanation to my adolescent shortcomings. I expounded upon such with an eloquent and sincere dissertation. I explained my past drug addiction and wrong choice of friends. I also explained my complete reformity as afterwards I haven't had a single instance of recidivism. As one could tell from my terminology, you can see I'm an intellectual and would have made a great addition to this lackluster company. I have seen the people they do hire (Most not all) are ignoble, sordid and contemptible in appearance and character. After they supposedly reviewed my explanation regarding my youthful violation of legality, the company (Door-dash) decided not to hire me. I was shocked and appalled by such blatant disregard to a worthy applicant. They sent me a condescending, disingenuous email that reads "We regret to inform you that DoorDash (the "Company") is unable to offer you access to the DoorDash platform." It further goes on to say it was from my past record (9 years ago). Well, DoorDash (the "Company") I regret to inform you that you are judgmental, intolerant and discriminatory!

DoorDash has let me down once again. Where to start? My first bad experience was a few weeks ago when the driver sent me a text stating he was outside my door, had knocked three times and would be leaving and I could contact customer service from there... He was at the wrong house the whole time. The next was when the driver of my food never called, text, or knocked on my door but thought it a good idea to leave my food between my screen door and front door On a 95 degree day. We had no idea it had been delivered until an hour later we were leaving to go get other food. Next our driver took an Uber to deliver our food, yet again went to the wrong house first, had his kids with him, and couldn't even be bothered to get dressed for the day. Next and the latest bad experience. The driver called me telling me she was outside my house, she wasn't, but who's surprised. When she did get to my house she refused to come to my door instead she stood outside the gate to my yard and had me go get my food. As I walked up to her I realized she was in her bra, a pair of boxers, and flip flops. I don't care that it's DoorDash it's still a JOB. Put on some clothes before you are delivering people their food. Have some common sense and be courteous. You're getting paid, act like it.

In Late November 2020 a Doordash delivery person entered my building in NYC and took packages in our entry way and then proceeded one flight down to the laundry room and stole my laundry out of the dryer. All of this was captured on the building's security cameras.
I filed a police report and was told by the officers this was becoming more and more common and Doordash delivery people were identified quite often as the culprits.
After contacting Doordash about the incident, they forwarded me to their insurance company re: getting reimbursed for the clothing their employee stole and said if the police wanted any information they should call the Doordash 800 number (because the NYPD doesn't already have enough on their plates? Their insurance rep replied that Doordash does not cover theft and that Doordash should reimburse me directly. After multiple emails and phone calls to get Doordash to respond they have not. Also, I checked with the NYPD and they have not cooperated in the investigation at all.
Obviously Doordash doesn't vet their delivery people and don't much care about crimes their employees commit, or their customers. In short, if you value your personal safety don't use Doordash

Door Dash customer support person Clark David M, refused to refund us for items never received. We have multiple front door cameras and were watching them during the ETA, but no car or person came near our address or rang our door bell. Clark David M responds stating that it is DOORDASH POLICY TO NOT REFUND FOR ITEMS NOT RECEIVED. Therefore, anyone can work for Doordash, not deliver items and refuse refund. This was our 2nd time ordering from Doordash and our last time. The first time, the food arrived cold, but we said nothing. DOORDASH IS A FRAUDULENT COMPANY. WE HAVE CAMERAS TO PROVE IT.

THE WORST! The driver apparently stood OUTSIDE of my place of business, never bothered to go in. Called and texted (I was in a meeting) demanding I call him back but the number he left COULD NOT BE CALLED INTO. So after an hour I got customer service on the line who said they could process a refund 5-7 DAYS FROM NOW! This place is a ripoff

Extremely poor scheduling from door dash! They added deliveries to my dashers route which then made my food over an hour late for the second time today! I use door dash a lot because of where I work and my inability to go places other than on foot. So outside of a few things I have from the store in a styrofoam cooler in my hotel room I use them for convenience and so I can try different things that are too far for walking.
I spend way too much money on delivery and tips for my food to be cold when it gets to me! Why would someone spend so much to get mediocre food and horrible service! They barely even tried to help when I called customer service even though they know I'm a valued customer that has used them a lot.
I certainly don't feel like it used to be this bad. I've had small issues in the past with them but I'm pretty laid back and never felt it was bad enough to complain but it's getting so much worse. Awful business model and even crappier service! They are just out to make as much money as they can and they don't care about quality or service! I won't be using their service anymore.
