Door-dash is the best ever food ordering platform. Compared to their competitors they have more restaurants listed and have better customer service. They give good offers too. I got my services fees reduced and got discount too (attached picture) Recommended
DoorDash = Cold Food The weather hasn't even gotten really cold yet. But since DoorDash drivers don't use thermal bags properly for most of the deliveries I have received, I get cold food. I've seen, on multiple occasions, the driver will take my pizza off the back seat of his car and put it in a thermal bag to bring it up to the door. Too often I get the pizza handed to me in the pizza box after having never been in a thermal bag. I've stopped ordering online for some restaurants because they use DoorDash. All this and you tip before delivery, so you are tipping for cold food.
Waited 30 min for a driver to be sent to the location to pick up my order. Then waited longer for order to complete and be delivered! Why take the order with no driver available?!?!

Ordered from DoorDash yesterday. Used their online site, not app. I have used DoorDash before and seen tech problems but this was the worst. I was ordering lunch and desert from the CheeseCake Factory. ($6.99 delivery fee).
As I ordered, the cart kept saying it was empty. So I kept putting the same items in the cart. The site never synced, never said "order placed." Finally it did.
Twenty minutes later there were 5 ORDERS on my porch from Cheesecake Factory. Then not ten minutes after that, two more came! I never got any texts that my ordered was being prepared, only several AFTER it had been delivered.
I called DoorDash and they said someone would get back to me, they haven't. Unlike GRUBHUB, DoorDash doesn't care. They have no real support and have had tech problems forever. I am out $200 for a bunch of desserts I never ordered.
Am taking this up with my bank but in the meantime, am definitely calling the Better Business Bureau. DON'T LET DOORDASH CONTINUE TO RIP US OFF, be vocal.

I have been a loyal DoorDash customer for years now. I have the annual DashPass and I almost order every single day.
Like it happens with all companies that get big, they do not give two f$@"s about a simple customer, no matter how many times in a day they order.
My latest ordeal with them was that my order was delivered to the wrong place. The dasher did not even have a working number so I was not able to reach out to him.
I of course contacted customer support and explained the situation. Their solution? A simple refund of my order. No I apologize, no I am sorry for the inconvenience, here is a coupon, so you can keep spending money on our app…
After I complained about that, they offered a 10 dollar coupon for a 50 dollar order that never arrived and we are now talking almost 2 hours after I placed the order.
I asked to escalate the situation and speak with a manager. Whoever they put next as a "supervisor" took forever to answer and "the best they can do is 15 dollar coupon". I told them where they can shove that stupid coupon. I am not ordering again on DoorDash. I know they probably don't care as I am only one customer, but at least I can warn people about their horrible service and not have the horrible experiences I have had with them.

Very poor service by the customer service rep noe that i chatted with on door dash disrespectful and the supervisor who hung up on me very rude disrespectful and very robotic when i asked for his name and agent id number and when i asked for corporate number say they can not provided that to customers no one use this app or website at all had two issues with orders and rep and supervisor with poor understanding and service like talking to a wall and when i asked to to speak with a higher supervisor ignored because he could not assist me refused says no wait im saying isn't correct when i tell him that i had a credit of 2.52 from previous order because the were going to send to wrong address that was not even on my account and order later that night and tells me i got that credit with the same order aim getting a full refund om back to my bank account automatically even when the restaurant on the website says it was open at time of purchase no credit for inconvenience lie to about the credit on my account saying basically like im lie and the computer is right when clearly its and error i when i had the credit before the purchase of the order they just want get you off the phone and not assist very poor service and field a complaint with the BBB and contacting the San Francisco office in the morning the head quarters to file a corporate complaint

Ordered my food and they charged my card 50.00 it said the dasher was at the restaurant picking up the order and left the place but the car was in a neighborhood far away from the restaurant and way mark from my house, the dasher stayed there for about 30 minutes when I received a notification that my order was on the was and waiting 30 minutes for the driver to move their car! Tried contacting customer service through chat and the first agent ended the chat after I explained the situation! Got on the chat with a different person that took over 90 minutes to "find a resolution for the order" they said they would issue me a refund but it will take 57 business day, so now it's the waiting game. Please don't use this company ever! During this time people that really don't have the money or are not able to get out and pick it up the company is abusing their customer and are nasty to me I wasn't able to eat last night and since I won't be ordering again who knows the next time that will be possible? For me to get out And also now waiting on my refund as money is limited for me.
I guess they are just making so much money they don't care clearly they are ok with all these bad reviews as well
Also the driver came to my house and damage some of they things at my front door I watched them through the peep on my door. I just let them take their frustrations out I don't have the energy to be bother with this company anymore

Horrible company. Orders are wrong, items missing and sometimes they are even delivered to another address and if you complain they tell you they know how frustrating this can be but not to worry they will take care of it and put you on hold only to return saying there is nothing they can do but the will send the problem to a special team and they will get back with you in 24 hours but you never hear back from anyone. I got fed up with it and I have DD account and disputed the last 6 SIX charges in the amount of $126.10 and a charge for $63.54 from a prior order that was never delivered and my credit card company has issued me a full refund in the amount of $189.64. Orders are wrong, missing items or not delivered to my address and I've had enough of the way you treat customers and not willing to do anything about your mistakes. I have blocked any attempts of chargebacks from DD and closed the account and have been issued a new card so you can't try to charge me back! I hope you are on your way out of business for the way you treat what few customers you have left...! I will be filing as many bad reviews as I possibly can and with the BBB!

WORSE SERVICE EVER! This is my first time ordering DoorDash and will definitely be my last. I initially order McDonalds and I wait over and hour so I finally called the store location just for them to tell me due to system issues they are not receiving orders from DoorDash only UberEat orders. So I cancelled that order and because DoorDash doesn't immediately refund your money I had to use doordash credit to have access to my funds immediately. So I put my faith in their system once more and order Burger King waiter order 30 mins as well. I put clear instructions including my apartment number and building number. You literally can't miss my apartments. The Driver calls me and so call can't find the apartment it's pouring down raining the streets are literally flooded I'm running all over my apartment searching for this lady and she's ACROSS THE STREET in the wrong DAMN apartments and I'm drenching my food was drench. It was absolutely HORRIBLE

I remember using them the first time several years ago and it wasn't great so while I use a lot of the other services for food delivery I haven't used them since. I didn't realize the order I put in today was going through them until it was delivered (apparently when you order through Google it uses DoorDash) When I received the bag that was supposed to be sealed was opened up and the sandwiches inside you could tell were opened up, it's like they weren't even trying to hide it. That's definitely worth taking the time to write a bad review especially their response. I'm not sure what happened but I was really grossed out. Especially considering not just during a pandemic but – doordash automatically tips but they automatically tip at 20% and on smaller orders it's obviously a lot less, and doesn't let you change it apparently until later. The driver won't know I have an extra tip for them regardless of what DoorDash pays them on top of what DoorDash tips which is 20% but still I can see a driver not being happy with their tip and doing something gross, pretty sure that's why the packages are usually sealed when they arrive. After contacting DoorDash and taking all my information and dragging things out in the end they just told me I had to contact the restaurant. The restaurant was good about it as they do always seal their food but it's almost like DoorDash complicated things and made it worse. They made me go through them took my information and they told me how to go to the restaurant.

If you use Google delivery apparently they use door dash. That’s the only reason I put the order through I didn’t realize that’s who was delivering it but was so many other options out there now I wouldn’t use them.

I don't normally use Door Dash, but I wanted to try a different restaurant than my usuals. Estimated time for delivery was 40-50 minutes. The food was ready in about 45 minutes. After an hour I contacted Door Dash and the delivery person couldn't find my building. I live about 5 minutes from this restaurant. I am in a major downtown area and have deliveries all the time. Obviously, Door Dash is hiring people that are completely inexperienced, from out of town and are not familiar with my area. After 10 minutes on chat with Door Dash and then another 10 minutes of additional wait I wound up cancelling my order. 10 minutes to order, 50 minutes estimated delivery and another 20 plus minutes waiting and contacting them. Total time - nearly 1 1/2 hours with no food. I finally cancelled and made myself scrambled eggs! Door Dash had the nerve to ask if I wanted a credit! They charge about $6 for delivery, $3 for a service charge and add a $10 tip. Almost $20 for this service! Are you kidding me?

DoorDash stole my money. Ordered through a restaurant website. One hour later I got notification that my order had been delivered. It didn't get delivered to my house. Called Doordash and was told they would have to contact the restaurant and the restaurant would have to issue the refund full refund including fees and tip. Waited 48 hours for an email that never came. Contacted Doordash again and was told the same thing. This went on for a week. Then someone at Doordash told me I was now on gold level support and I would receive email within 5 business days. No email arrived. Contacted Dorrdash again, (it's now been 17 days since Doordash stole my money) and was told that I would have to contact the restraint. I did and was told that they only keep CC info for 16 days and it had been longer than that. I finally got them to agree to refund the price of the meal but they couldn't refund DD fee or tip. There doesn't seem to be any way to get back delivery fee or tip. I will never use DoorDash ever again. This has been a nightmare. They stole my money and seem to think I should just deal with it.
