Door-dash is the best ever food ordering platform. Compared to their competitors they have more restaurants listed and have better customer service. They give good offers too. I got my services fees reduced and got discount too (attached picture) Recommended
DoorDash = Cold Food The weather hasn't even gotten really cold yet. But since DoorDash drivers don't use thermal bags properly for most of the deliveries I have received, I get cold food. I've seen, on multiple occasions, the driver will take my pizza off the back seat of his car and put it in a thermal bag to bring it up to the door. Too often I get the pizza handed to me in the pizza box after having never been in a thermal bag. I've stopped ordering online for some restaurants because they use DoorDash. All this and you tip before delivery, so you are tipping for cold food.
Food was late late cold and was swapped from one driver to the next, driver couldn't speak English and his attitude was terrible drop my food at door and didn't even tell me.

7:31pm, Tuesday, 2/1, I placed a order. At about 8:20pm, I got a call from a dasher, that my order had been given to someone else and they were re-making it. I explained to the Dasherr if my order tracked like it was supposed to it should have been delivered within minutes of this call. It was going to take them another hour to re-make & deliver the 2nd order. Dasher's response…Oh that's not bad! This Dasher could have cared less. You could hear it in his voice that he did not care. I was trying to talk to him. He hung up on me. So 3 Dashers later, I never received my order which was for my whole family. Then I received a text that my order was canceled. Then a call that my order was canceled that they sorry & did I want a credit or refund. Really? Seriously? This is the 2nd time this has happened. This is not good customer service. They have a major problem internally.

While the order was on the way to be delivered. I was assigned to had () as my delivery driver. The driver I noticed was going in the wrong direction off the Door dash GPS tracker so I had decided to had left several text messages to this driver so that they would be able to locate me. The driver was hostile in their responses and stated that they know how to get here but still was proceeding in wrong direction off the GPS tracker.
I later then decided to had called the driver upon whom had acted hostile and stated to me that they were on their way to my residence and then decided to had hang up the phone on me.
As of 2/27/2021 I had never received my order. I believe the driver was motivated to had stolen my food and marked it as delivered as a result of them being unable to locate my residence.
I need an angency's help ensure that I receive a refund from Doordash on this order since I had never received my order.

I've had two separate issues with this service in recent weeks. My latest which is very similar to the first issue involves ordering through a Popeyes app. Apparently they use Doordash for their delivery service. I placed my order and was advised in a text that my order should arrive by 7:25PM about 25 minutes later. About 7:45PM I tried to contact the driver through the text and got a recording stating the phone is not in service. I got a call from the driver (by mistake) about 7:55PM stating that he was trying to call corporate. Apparently he had been waiting in the drive through for half an hour waiting on my order and discovered the restaurant had closed. At about 8:45PM I get a call from Doordash support stating they have a second driver waiting in line at Popeyes to pick up my order so of course I asked who was lying to me? Being told one thing and then something totally opposite did not bode well for me. Of course by then I had made other arrangements so I asked them to cancel the order and made it known that this was ridiculous. Then I asked them to process my refund and to which I was told I had to call a different number. So the charade begins sending me in circles. The first time about two weeks ago was an order through a Jersey Mikes app which I also never got the order. I no longer trust Doordash as being a reliable delivery service and will from now on pick up my orders as this is much less of a headache. If I was able to give no stars, I would have done so. They don't even deserve that in my book.

Ordered for first time - scheduled delivery an hour and half out. AT TIME DELIVERY WAS EXPECTED - I received a text saying it wasn't coming. I was charged. I RE-ORDERED - I called the restaurant to verify the 2ND TIME. The restaurant assured me that the order would be delivered.
However, AT THE TIME THE ORDER WAS EXPECTED - AGAIN - ANOTHER TEXT SAYING IT WAS CANCELLED.
Now, DOORDASH CHARGED ME TWICE AND I HAVE HAD TO CALL REPEATEDLY TO GET THE MONEY REFUNDED. WHAT KIND OF SCAM OPERATION ARE THEY RUNNING? I RECEIVED ONLY ONE OF THE TWO REFUNDS. I GET THE SAME STUPID SCRIPT READ TO ME BY FOREIGN PHONE WORKERS THAT IT IS ON ITS WAY -
IT HAS NEVER ARRIVED. DOORDASH OWES ME $54.82.
I have been a frequent user of GrubHub, always on time, always nice, always available. Never had a single problem.

Door dash accepts your proif of stolen products from dashers and then says yoh have reached the limit. Now the dashers can steal from you at will. WTF?!?!?! Very crooked and bad company!

My order was stolen three times by a doordasher. Canceled 3 times. Custom service is a joke. They did nothing to help promised my food would come and it canceled again after being stolen AGAIN!

Doordash a big 0! Horrible service and customer support
If I could give doordash a 0 or worse i would.
We ordered food to be delivered via doordash, and had it delivered to our house, well coodoes to the restaurant the food was very good, but our house is in a gated community, and the door dasher decision to speed in our community was stopped by security. She then promptly proceeded to tell the security officer she was a guest, and not a delivery driver. Because of this We the home owners received a $115.00 traffic ticket, which the doordasher refused to pay.
The doordasher then came back to our community administration building and flipped out at the community officials stating she was being set up, and that Security had stalked her to our house and sat and waited for her to return to the gate house. She in fact received the citation a block away from our house in transit to our home.
Now what is worse- we had paid for our food, but now because of the doordasher we now have to pay a $115.00 fine for her speeding ticket!
Door dash customer service also did nothing to help us! Stated that the ticket we received form her delivery was not their responsibility! ( Well thanks for the help!)
So- What kind of logic and service is that! We will never use doordash again.
Live and learned sadly how horrible doordash really is!

I agree with whoever said they wished they could put negative stars. After placing an order, getting notification from my credit card company and expecting my delivery in the time frame stated- I waited... and waited... and waited. I texted and called my "dasher" who never responded. I called the restaurant who said the card was declined so th dasher left. My credit card company called Door Dash while I was on the line because Door Dash said my card was declined when in fact it was not! Then the Door Dash rep said my order was on the way - no it wasn't! They "decided" to give me a refund ( no kidding since nothing was ever picked up or delivered) Did I mention that Door Dash never contacted me during all this - I would still be waiting since on line it did nor show any cancellation. Then I got a message from my dasher that they went to the restaurant and my order wasn't ready so he left. Fast forward - i spoke with the owner of the restaurant directly who informed me it wasn't MY credit card that was denied - it was the DASHER's card. Apparently the company charges you as a customer then issues a credit card to the dasher to use when they pick up the order. Needless to say this was never mentioned during all this. I did get a "Have a good evening" from the Door Dash customer rep!

I've ordered many times and my last order $54.00 was taken out of my bank account and the doordash person gets there to pick up the food they never received my order doordash are theives this is the 4th occurrence were money is taken and no food brought I am thankful that my doordasher called me to inform me and put me on the phone with them to be able to get my food Doordash will take your money and not deliver!

Ordered $17 of Taco Bell food cost $53 AND got order missing taco, desset, and the cinn twist order was only 50%. BS there is no quality control on the food that is GIVEN to the hungry doordash drivers.

NEVER EVER use DoorDash. I've been using the app for a bit, and even eventually subscribed for the DashPass. I work ridiculous hours and the thought of having something delivered was great. I would order multiple times a week, paying the exorbitant charges because you have to pay for convenience. My issue isn't with the ridiculously high fees, it's with the customer service. Usually there are no issues, but when they are, I report them to the app as I learned that the restaurant I ordered from would usually tell me to take up the issue with DoorDash. I'd not get my order, but someone else's. Food would be wrong. I'd be missing items. Sometimes the food would not even arrive. Usually DoorDash would issue a credit of some sort. What finally pushed me over the edge was that I placed several orders over a two day span and they were comically wrong, reported to DoorDash, and the first time in this particular comical error, their representative promised credits. The credits never appeared. I called to speak to a representative and they tell me that they couldn't process it but they'd forward my claim to their tech department. I order again... Another issue. Can't get any credits. I ordered again, dasher seemingly drops off the food, I go to pick it up not a minute later and the food is nowhere to be found. I call DoorDash and they tell me there's nothing they can do because I have had too many issues in the past and they wouldn't be able to assist. Spoke to several representatives and they accused ME of being suspicious. I could go on and on about this but I've chosen to never do business with them again.

I placed an order through GrubHub for a restaurant walking distance from my home. I was very sick and this is the only reason I opted for a delivery system. An hour and ten minutes after the order was placed (ten minutes past projected delivery time) the driver called to tell me that the restaurant did not have the shrimp wrap that I ordered (my husband ordered barbeque wings as well). I told the driver that I would take hot wings. The driver then texted me asking me what I had asked for. He then called me back and asked what I wanted. He clearly spoke limited English and did not understand. Frustrated and starving at this point, I cancelled the order and had my husband place an order for pickup. The driver said okay and told me that I could cancel through the website, which I did. I waited a few days to see if the payment would be refunded. It wasn't, so I contacted the company. They are telling me that the ordered had already been picked up before I cancelled so I cannot receive a refund. I know that this is incorrect because the driver called me to tell me that they didn't have what I wanted and that I needed to order something different, which I never did. In the very least, I should have received a partial refund. At this point, I am fed up with the lack of customer service and organization.

Spent 3 hrs trying to place an order online, but they've enhanced security, so you either need to give them 2 cards, or verify your existing card. However I also don't have the app (phone wont download anything anymore) and apparently you can only verify your card through the app. 1st customer service rep said he'd email me the directions to trouble shoot, and never did. 2nd rep emailed me info on how to verify the card
"The DoorDash app will ask you to verify the credit card details. If you have the card that is saved in your account on you, you can choose to either Scan Payment Card or go to More Options.
The scan option will enter your card details automatically. Check to make sure that the credit card number, expiration date, and security code were entered correctly. Any mismatch could cause the order to fail. After checking the details, click Verify and Place Order."
However The online ordering plat form only gives you the option to add another card. When I tried to tell the 3rd rep this, they gave me the same info about the app, when I tried to explain that those options weren't available online they ended the help session without a word.
Do your self a favor, avoid Doordash like a confirmed COVID-19 patient with Leprosy spewing blood from every orifice, because they only want to gouge you for money, with no care for service or customer care

I always order from doordash, mind you I order so much it's not funny, and normally I genuinely enjoy my food. Tonight was an experience that has made me rethink ever reordering this company again. Not only did my food get dropped off at the wrong address(a few houses down), it was ice cold (mind you the temp was probably in the 40's) and at the wrong temp by the time I found my food. She did call but mind you I don't answer unknown numbers, but she could have texted so I could see it was the dasher. So I called the number back, just incase it was the dasher, to hear that she had other orders that she was not able to turn around that I would receive a call in a bit. Once I received the call the guy on the phone stated he is going to mark that I got my food. Which I guess is true considering I had to search and hunt for my food. If I knew how bad the service was tonight I would have ordered from grubhub or ubereats at least I get my order all the time and don't have to run and search for it for at least ten minutes. The way the service was presented tonight has made me rethink my options over and considering I order almost every day, I will now take my business elsewhere to a company that not only delivers my food to the right location.

I have tried several times using the PC based application, and it ALWAYS fails. The first time it input the street the restaurant was on as the delivery address, and there was no way to correct it. The second time, the order was completely lost and we had to re-order and wait 3 hours for dinner. The third time we gave up because the system gave us no way to order the sides that came with the dinner.
All that would be bad enough, but we called and emailed DoorDash "customer service" all three times to try to straighten out these problems AND NEVER GOT A REPLY. We also tried to call the number given for the driver about the delivery problem, and found out that it was incorrect.
Ahhh. But it still gets much worse. When we finally got an order using the iPhone app, it arrived OPENED and PARTIALLY CONSUMED. The DoorDash driver had helped himself to part of our meal. Of course we complained (again), but got no reply and no refund.
Today I received my charge card bill... for the order that never arrived. That's what prompted me to write this review.

As a dasher, there a lot of issues that arise with this platform. Some of which effect the customers directly. Such as, being in the middle of an order, and adding an order on, which as a dasher we feel inclined to do so our ratings don't drop. The problem with this is that the order accepted is usually from an entirely different place. So while trying to reach customer A's house on time, we are now having to detour to a whole other location in hopes that order is already prepared. This reflects negatively on our ratings no matter what we do. Then, a lot of restaurants close their lobby down early in small towns such as mine. Having to wait in drive thru during busy times such as a dinner rush negatively impacts us, despite the fact that it is out of our control. Another major issue for dashers is being pentalized for declining a small paying order. If I am only making $2 to take an order with no tip, then driving 5+ miles, it is not worth it and infact can become more costly on that driver. The app itself glitches a lot, freezes at the worst times and can cause a dasher to loose a potential tip. The customer support hotline lacks the training needed to resolve certain issues. In my most recent encounter, I was told they were unsure how to resolve my issue. While you can make decent money on this app, the fact that there are so many obstacles that just aren't being addressed makes it more effort than it's worth.

I received a voucher from DoorDash to save $15 on my first order of $30 or more, with the offer expiring on 31 March 2020. When I went to enter the voucher code for my order (mid February 2020), instead of receiving a discount I instead received the message "Sorry, the promotion has reached the maximum number of customers that can use this promotion."
The DoorDash helpline confirmed that although the voucher had not expired and I met all the terms and conditions, they had basically decided that the no longer wished to honour the voucher because they felt they already spent enough on that promotion.
The people on the DoorDash helpline refused to provide me with a new discount code. The DoorDash help on Facebook asked me to provide details and evidence, but have not responded with an offer.
I reported this (along with evidence) to the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (REF*******) which in response said that it was illegal "bait advertising".
This morning, I found DoorDash once again handing out the same vouchers at the train station, although as early as two weeks ago they had already decided that they were no longer going to honour them (did they ever?). I have reported this second incident to the ACCC as well. And from looking at other reviews, my experience was far from unique.

I am a driver and I took a order it was 30 mins away, when i got there it was a insurance company. I called the customer who gave me her real address so I head the 30 mins to the same place I originally began. I call the support and was told that I would not be getting any more pay for this is not their fault. So if I said I wasn't going to do the delivery I wouldn't get paid at all. I call back and spoke to my second support agent who told me she would get me paid, and still no payment came. I call my third rep who told me that he would have the second reps manager process the payment and nothing. I called the next morning and was told a manager would call me back and its been 4 hours and I am still waiting for the call back. I called the 5 rep who hung up on me. So twice I have it in writing I would be paid yet I have not received a payment……Bewray drivers DOORDASH will not cover your gas or waste your time doing a order for a order that is at no fault of your own and you drop the order you do not get paid and if you do the order again well then you are losing out on money you should of been making instead you waste time and gas for nothing

Ince they don't answer in Australia. Literally the worst company I have had to deal with. My first order a couple of days ago went missing and was not delivered to me and was not delivered back to the restaurant, the redelivery was missing food, the bag was not sealed, which is unhygenic as the drivers can touch and go through your meals, and the food was luke warm. We ordered the next day from ribs and burgers and food was missing again and the sweet potatoe fries where cold. Last night I was promised a reimbursement and it has not come through after speaking with 3 of your consultants and being promised the credit would be applied right away and it has now been 3 hours and I would like to order my last meal from your poor excuse for a company, someone better action my credit right away otherwise I will be reporting your company to the ombudsman and the department of health for the way your company allows drivers to deliver exposed food. And another missed delivery tonight after taking my
Money. I expect nothing else from a dodgy company like this.
