I place one order and doordash charge me two times for same order. I was charge on Sept 29 then Oct 3rd for the same order. It's two weeks and they did not reverse the unauthorized amount they stole from me. Do not trust this company with your payment information.
My husband and I have COVID so we have been using DoorDash to get groceries from Weis market. The receipt that comes with the groceries always as much lower than what doordash says they charge us. Many items are on sale. But they charge what is on the doordash website. This time it was $12 more and then what they were charged by the market. We won't be buying groceries from them anymore like this
On 10/10/2023, our driver took one of our meals ordered from Sonny's in Tallahasse, FL. Door Dash did nothing! We contacted the restaurant and they specifically told the delivery driver, Aaliyah, that our order was in 2 bags. She only delievered 1! She got a free meal, the 20% tip of a $60 order, AND her delievery fee.
I was trying to manage my DashPass and no one who answered the phone was qualified to assist me.
I was told a supervisor would contact me and after 4 phone calls and 5 weeks of waiting, I was told to delete my account because they can not assist. What a JOKE!
On October 8th, I ordered Chicken Enchiladas with Queso, beans and a coke from On The Border. I got the wrong order and it was a dried out shell with hard dried out cheese and chili on it. The beans and rice were cold and looked like they had been sitting around for days. It also had half a taco shell that had been eaten off. The coke was also 2/3 full as though someone drank from it and it had nothing to cover the lid. The food was trash and unfit to eat. I texted the DoorDasher to come back immediately and put the food outside with the trash. They did not come back to get it. However when I went to the DoorDash site to ask for my money back but they only offered 1 option of a credit on my next order. They gave no option for me to receive my money back. They only gave a credit on the next order. Next Order?. I don't want to order again from a restaurant I disliked. I don't want a next order. I chatted and advised them that I wanted my money back and not a credit on a future order. I am seeking to get my money refunded to me. I contacted them by chat and they refuse to fix it. They also filter reviews and post very few 1's. They did not post my review in the app.
I was at a friends house and forgot to change the address. When I cancel my order I am still charged $53.07 and got a refund of $3.84.
Whatever you do not order from doordash no matter what they will steal your money not bring your food on time bring you cold food and then try to keep your money acting like you're trying to steal from them. I have tried to order from them four times in the last 24 hours two orders were canceled one time they brought someone else's order and the other time they brought us cold food missing most of the ingredients and refused to compensate us. You'd have better luck throwing your money in the street and expecting to get something back.
It used to be that whenever an order came incorrectly made, or the driver spilled things, or I waited and waited only to be cancelled on, that DD would compensate you in some way for the inconvenience and poor experience. Now they just end chats if you even ask. Cheap company that rakes in billions in revenue each year...
My order was stolen three times by a doordasher. Canceled 3 times. Custom service is a joke. They did nothing to help promised my food would come and it canceled again after being stolen AGAIN!
Waited 30 min for a driver to be sent to the location to pick up my order. Then waited longer for order to complete and be delivered! Why take the order with no driver available?!?!
They took my order and half hour later it said they were looking for a driver. Why take the order in the first place?!?!
So I ordered 21$ worth of food and my whole order was completely wrong. Yes I understand that it is not door dash fault there selfs but when I kept trying to get my issue resolved they said the issue couldn't be refunded even though my order was completely incorrect. I had to contact support again and call and they ended up giving me 3.24$ thats it. For a complete order missing all items. Door dash is simple to order food but they are started to go down hill bad. A ton of issues constantly.
Door dash accepts your proif of stolen products from dashers and then says yoh have reached the limit. Now the dashers can steal from you at will. WTF?!?!?! Very crooked and bad company!
Twice DoorDash delivered to wrong door! After I gave exact directions they still can't do it right. Everyone else who delivers here can do it right. Never DoorDash again!

I got sick from a 21 dollar order placed last night. They refused to refund me. They have now lost hundreds to thousands of dollars of money this year not to mention next year and the following years due to this incredibly poor decision making.

DoorDash has been stealing money. Authorizing them to buy food does not authorize them to take more than what was bought. See my receipt. I was charged $92.75 for the food, but the food only cost $51.24.
Their service personnel states they get to keep the extra due to company policy.

I ordered back back ribs for a Labor Day BBQ that were on sale for $1.99 a pound at Winn-Dixie. They sent me 2 small precooked Curley BBQ ribs that were $27.They said they were going to give me a refund which I never saw.Ill never use Door Dash again.My orders have been messed up many times but I never said anything before.I had to go out and buy new ribs and pitched the precooked ribs.The driver wouldn't take them back and said they will give you a refund.
Even if your order is wrong and you send photos, they don't care. If you complain more than one time about a messed up order, they threaten to suspend your account. Gross negligence all around, including the $hyt wages they pay their delivery folks.

Answer: They first send you to a robot and then an outsourced person in India I believe. There is no communication between drivers and the customer service so it's unhepful
Answer: First, DoorDash collects a tip BEFORE you get service. I always tip, so should you. Ubereats lets you tip AFTER you get service - better. Caveat - getting your tip back from DoorDash for bad service is almost impossible.
