Doordash didn't recognize a valid gift card that I applied to an order. OK, I cancelled the order and received an email confirmation of that confirmation. Doordash did not cancel the order with the local company and charged my card. I cancelled for that reason within 1 minute of placing the order and they only refunded me for 75% of the charge and put the balance on credit. I called and reminded them I have used doordash 2 times in the last 5 years and will never use them again...no desire to engage from their side so I will call this out to my bank as FRAUD, which it truly is. Bogus for doordash to rely on draconian "fix the glitch" methods to make money. Wish I could give them zero stars.

I wish they would let us send pictures on these atrocious services out of 35 doordash orders 18 of them were refunded and given a credit because of grossly negligent vendors or grossly negligent Dashers. I am definitely allergic to onions my wife is deathly allergic to avocados and mushrooms both of Us carry epi pens with us. We make it as blatantly clear as possible not only do we choose the option for no onions but in the special instructions we make them know that we have an allergy for onions and an allergy for avocados and mushrooms and they still don't care. Today the Dasher Andy send a text saying he's having a hard time finding my property and left the food in the street underneath the sign that said my address.
At this stage I feel more beneficial to file the class action lawsuit along with many other people and Sue doordash for deliberate negligence the Dasher doesn't confirm the order when he goes to the store the vendor doesn't care about the order when they cook the food all they care about is how many orders they can get in and turn them over quickly.
And customer service which is in the Philippines only wants to tell you that we will give the Dasher corrective action and that will be escalated up to management but if my wife would have died what would have been the corrective action for that this is by far the worst food delivery company on the face of this planet every single one of the employees should be executed because they know about the actions and deliberately say and do nothing so that makes them as guilty as anyone else for attempted murder on multiple occasions because if I tell you that this is a problem and you do nothing about it and you willingly know about it doesn't that make you equally as culpable as the person who does the deed?
Rest assured we will not be ordering from doordash ever again and I assure you that was in relative speed will be filing a lawsuit against doordash.

They lie and poor customer service i ordered like 15 times 3 different times had problems 2 they cleared up this last time we have to investigate they tell me then later i check again online it said it was resolved you have been issued a credit wow to me that means theres a credit but they lie no credit i call them back rep say we have to investagate again what the heck are they crazy it clearly says resolved credit was issued i got mad both times the way reps treated me and hung up i called back told them disable close my account so they did, also the referral links area ll different mine saidf new customers get $7 off $10 order others say $10 off a $10 order and some get $25 off a $25 order wow really well after i tell all my friends and sahre the link they tell me i told them wrong well doordash changed my referral link offer to free month of delvieries no discount for new customers and i didnt even know it. They do not treat their customers the same i will never ever order again and i will dispute the full amount at my bank since they never resolved it and lie say they did. They are not trustworthy in my opinion i will use another delivery service heck with doordash the way its being run now they wont be in bussiness long anyway. Thank you

They stole my pay $108.81. Won't pay even after agreeing. After moving to new city and state when I was weakest.
I don't like being ripped off. Door Dash likes ripping people off. I place an order. Pay Tracking shows the restaurant is preparing the food, then shows the driver going to the restaurant to pick up my food then ORDER CANCELLED. The explanation was that there was no driver available to pick up my food. SO WHY WAS THE ORDER ACCEPTED IN THE FIRST PLACE? This has happened 3 times. A sticker on the bag says the order was double checked for accuracy. So how did my Del Taco 2 for $4 fish tacos only have one taco? I don'f think you can even order one fish taco but's that's all I got after DoorDash double checked my order! Adding insult to injury - DoorDash has been charging me $9.99 every month for a Dash Pass since December 2019! They kept this on the DL - every 3rd of the month they charged me $9.99 but did they email or text me with "Hey Dash Pass subscriber its another month and another $9.99 to us now here's what we can do for you". Ah HELL NO! Not a peep to suggest I was subscribed to anything! I never saved a dime on deliveries unless I was ordering the $12 for free delivery so I have no idea what the $9.99 a month was supposed to be for. Like I said I don't like being ripped off and if you don'eteither stay away from Door Dash because they're nothing but THIEVES!
So, I've been doing doordash for about 2 months now. If I weren't pathetically desperate, I would have stopped at week 2. The VAST MAJORITY of the time, the app fails miserably. The last 5 times I've attempted to dash, the app failed, and caused me to sit there making no money for 45 minutes to an hour, or even longer. Also due to this, it's hurt my metrics with the company. I've never refused an order, nor been late for any reason within my control. The app does not acknowledge this, so as it continues to not work, I continue to look worse as an employee. Very important note here: At all points in time I'm having issues, I'm not making money, and doordash will not even consider compensating me for my time. Add this onto the fact that, in my town, I can only schedule to work about 2-5 hours any given week. Typically I lose about 3-4 out of 5 hours of work time to the app failing. Tonight I worked for an hour and 30 minutes. I made under 5 dollars, due to the app. Two nights ago, I made 3 dollars in an hour an half, also due to the app failing to work properly.
The first two weeks they allow you work when you want. Those weeks, I made about 300-400 dollars. Every week since then, even getting to 100 dollars has been a struggle. If they ever just start paying an hourly rate, maybe it's worth doing. I say this because, even when the app does work right (that's happened twice so far out of over 20 dashes) you're being forced to drive back from the customer for free, to get back into busy zones. Sometimes it will take me out of the city limits even... so... yea driving back to town for 30 minutes for free, for someone who didn't even tip me, made me go down a dirt road, and gave me a total of less than 5 dollars for over an hour of my effort... is very common.
If you are trying to make money for anything other than your meth addiction, I do not recommend using Doordash to do it.

I ordered food from Panda Express. I had never used a delivery service before. They brought my food early which seemed like a good thing. My child accepted the order and is young so they weren't aware of what to look for. By the time I got there the door dasher was gone and by the receipt I saw the order was intended for someone else. I called Panda and they gave me the number for where I should call. Took forever for door dash to answer and then once I explained the situation the gentleman had to transfer me to someone else. I told them Panda was going to replace my order and they just needed a driver to drop it off to me. She said she had to call Panda to verify and have them schedule a driver. She called and said Panda wasn't answering so I asked her to call back. She did and said it was all taken care of. I waited about an hour and called Panda Express because I hadn't received a text, email or call. The lady at Panda Express said they called her and she let them know she just neede a driver to deliver the food. DD told her that they woul call me to verify and would send a driver. I explained that no one called me. She ended up calling them with me on the line and asked if a driver was being sent. DD kept transferring her to other departments and finally she hung up on them and pulled one of her employees from the line to drop off the food to me. Above and beyond on the part of Panda Express.
I tried to place an order from Door Dash on a Thursday night for my anniversary, they quickly charge my credit card right away but the app crashed and the order never went through! I also never received any type of confirmation for my order through email or text. So I called customer service right away and they DID confirm the order had not gone through but they said they have to pass this on the higher management claims department to further "investigate" the matter. Wow What is there to investigate? The person on the line right away confirmed the order hadn't gone through, the refund should happen right away. He said in 24-48 hours the "proper department" will call me back, view my case and the refund should go through then. Well, It is next week, Wednesday morning now, had still not received any call back from them (very horrible service) so I called them once more and they gave me the run around again, "we need to investigate" and refused to issue the refund. No matter how much arguing with the supposed supervisor, she kept saying the case is still under investigation and we need to wait 5 more days. So when I first called its 24-48 hours now it is an additional 5 days, wow this company is a joke. The app crashed, order did not go through, you guys charged my credit card right away (It is funny that part of the app worked so smoothly) it was confirmed my order never went through but they are refusing to give me a refund and giving me the run around. This is an absolutely unbelievable and ridiculous business practice, I am absolutely floored they are still in business with this type of customer service. I know they saw the order did not go through, so what is this BS about "investigating the issue" this is being scammed. It has been over 5 business days already and now they are saying need to wait 5 more days to finish investigating the case. What is there to investigate for so long? This is clearly a scam, clearly a very poor business practice, very unprofessional. This was my first time and last time ever using door dash I will tell everyone I know to not use this company. Poor customer service and app crashing after conveniently taking your money! And absolutely no service in return!

I have had several bad experiences with using Doordash, but this latest and last one has finally broke the Camels back. On the 16th of this month I use Doordash to make a delivery for me from a Pizza place. Yes it was a Snow strom day here on the east coast. It was well past the time of projected delivery but no one had called. When I called they told they couldn't get a driver, which I understood. So I figured I would get a full refund. Days later I happen to look at my bank statement when I notice a charge for 4.26, I called Doordash and asked them why I was charged 4.26? They said it was taxes. So I asked them if the order was cancelled how can you charge taxes on nothing and when I did r3ceive anything? They said I had 72 hours to notify them, something I was unaware in their policy. Second, it wasn't until I looked at my bank statement that I noticed the deduction. Eventually, after arguing back and forth they said I wouldn't get my money back So I told them I was done with them. Use Doordash at your own risk, they will rip you off.
Customer Beware ---I've been a loyal DoorDash customer for more than 2 years. Not Anymore! After receiving Wrong items, or never receiving items I ordered and paid for, DoorDash told me they were sorry I was "disappointed" but REFUSED to Refund me for even 1 item! I'm Vegetarian, and when the restaurant added Chicken to a dish I ordered --making it Inedible to me-- along with not receiving a whole other item I'd ordered, I simply asked for a Refund for Only the dish with the chicken. This amounted to about $20 of an $80 order, which I tipped $15 on. They outright REFUSED to even Credit my account for the amount! Their reason was that I had apparently reached some random refund limit they have which I was unaware of. So --They're penalizing Me -their Loyal Customer- because I've also had other items in the past that were missing or made wrong BY THE RESTAURANT, and acting like they were doing me a favour by CORRECTING those orders and were not going to do me any more "favours" by correcting any more INCORRECT or Missing items for me. Wow. If that's what passes for "Customer Service" these days then No, Thank You. I'll just use UberEats, Postmates or any one of a million other services. Reported to my bank and Canceled my DashPass. DoorDash Fail.

DoorDash is the worst of any delivery of any kind in the city.
Every other delivery service delivers directly to my apartment door with no problems. DoorDash uses a farcical fraud routine to avoid delivering to the door at all every time. They start before the driver arrives by having a dispatcher text message that the driver cannot find the apartment, will wait 5 minutes, and leave the food after. They give a contact number for the driver. The message is the same and happens every time regardless of the driver. There's usually a text message or call after. There is desk in my building's lobby that has someone at it day and night. I ask the driver to get directions from the person at the desk, and that always results each driver getting flustered because they've never entered the building. Usually, the conversation starts going in circles with questions at that point. Since the only line in the script that they've been given is "I can't find your apartment", that usually gets repeated even after it's clear that they've never left their car. Since the dispatcher and driver are a part of the routine, and it happens every time regardless of driver, it's clear that the lie is process and policy of at least the local portion of the company. It's a ridiculous scheme to get customers to go to the driver's car to get the drivers to be able to leave quicker.
Beyond the fraud to avoid delivering to the door (Door is in their name, so even their name is fraud), DoorDash is the only food delivery service where none of their drivers use any kind of thermal pouch to keep food hot. Dominoes, Pizza Hut, Papa Johns, and GrubHub all do, but none of the DoorDash drivers even have a thermal pouch for pizza, so the food always arrives cold.
Customer satisfaction is infinitely less important to DoorDash than shaving costs by increasing the number of deliveries per driver and even ridiculously small costs life thermal containers to maintain food temperature. And customer satisfaction is infinitely less important to them than it is to all of their competitors.

Use any other delivery service or any restaurant that delivers themselves or uses a different delivery service.
NEVER AGAIN DOOR DASH!
While at my friends house, we opted for pizza for dinner. Since pizza hut was close by we decided to get pizza for us and the kids. Money being limited, the pizza and wings came to $47.47 and between the two of us it was doable. She paid with her card, and i gave her cash for my half. Well...after waiting for an hour and no food, we call the store and they tell us that the driver has already left the store. I tell her well no driver has delivered so what should we do. She says well you will have to contact door dash. Immediately I was angry, Because we didn't pay door dash, we paid Pizza Hut, She proceeded to tell me that once the door dash driver leaves they are no longer responsible and gave me a number for Door Dash customer service. While on the phone with them, the driver calls to say that there wasn't an apartment number on the ticket so they left our food on the concrete pillar at the entrance. WHAT! And she added, "there was a nice little kitty cat down there who was very friendly". I'm still in awe of that statement. The entrance to where my friend lives is about 1/4 mile from the house. I went up to Pizza Hut replaced the order, and PAID AGAIN! This happened on July 25,2023, It is now July 30,2023 and each door dash rep that I have spoken to says "we will send your money to Pizza Hut and they will call you to pick it up" LIARS!
Pizza Hut says, "Refunds come directly from Door Dash!"
So when you are ordering from any restaurant, ask who is responsible for the order if something happens. If it is anyone other than the restaurant, hang up! Especially if it is Door Dash. We order a lot of food on my job, we have now started asking who delivers. Door dash has lost all of our business in our plaza at work and people in my neighborhood will no longer do business with door dash. I told the last door dash rep to just drop the complaint, Their lies were getting more ridiculous, Hit them where it hurts, IN THE POCKET!
Not worth it. Pie got cancelled after waiting for 45 min. This service is garbage! Plus they charge way to much.
