Doordash didn't recognize a valid gift card that I applied to an order. OK, I cancelled the order and received an email confirmation of that confirmation. Doordash did not cancel the order with the local company and charged my card. I cancelled for that reason within 1 minute of placing the order and they only refunded me for 75% of the charge and put the balance on credit. I called and reminded them I have used doordash 2 times in the last 5 years and will never use them again...no desire to engage from their side so I will call this out to my bank as FRAUD, which it truly is. Bogus for doordash to rely on draconian "fix the glitch" methods to make money. Wish I could give them zero stars.
I changed to a replacement credit card for doordash pass, and it says not eligible for free delivery. I had numerous calls with customer services to try to resolve the problem, but nobody could make it work. And they just hung up on me.
I used to like this food delivery service until the numerous mistakes their company has made as a whole and their blatant refusal to make it right when it is their fault for purposely having selections available that the company personally informed them that they do not offer set items and refuse to provide a return when they've charged for set item and never deliver it because the item is not available. Use any company but theirs they don't respect their customers so why should we continue to support them?
The people delivering to my house were rude and pretty Incompetent. They messed up and would not do anything about it. I tried to contact DoorDash which said I needed to contact the restaurant, well the restaurant is not the one that smashed my food, smoked in the car, making my food smells like an ashtray. Craig this trend of places that used to deliver now using door Dash needs to stop or there needs to be accountability.
I don't know how this company is still around. I placed an order for delivery and the driver texted me that my order was picked up before they arrived at the restaurant. I had to contact customer service to get my money back and reorder. I tried to order again, this time for pick up. When I arrived at the restaurant they told me they did not have an an order for me. I looked at the app and it was already picked up, by who no one knows. I contacted customer service and they did not refund my money but said they would get back to me in a day or 2. Do not waste your time or money on this place they don't know what they are doing and their seems to be a 50/50 shot as to whether or not you will get your order but you always get to pay.

Never got my order called customer service offering video feed proof order never arrived and was told not eligible for a refund nothing can be done and nobody else to talk to!? Never using DoorDash ever again! Rip off scammers!
I've used doordash for over 5 years but recently I've had issues with every order. 1 out of 5 drivers/shoppers actually pay attention and follow instructions. I've had to request credits/refunds multiple times. Last refund request was because their system clitched & double my order. I called them about the refund & was told they just adjusted the charge. They sent me messages telling me I was getting a full refund. I closed my account with them.
I ordered doordash from a restaurant 2.5 miles away and according to Mapquest an 8 minute drive. My order arrived 34 minutes after it was picked up. I asked the driver why, he said he had a double order. He picked up my order from restaurant, then went to another restaurant to pick up another order, delivered the other order before mine. Long story short; French fries that have been sitting in a bag in someone's car for over 30 minutes suck. Did an online complaint and got an email apology but nothing else. I will not be using doordash in the future.

I was so looking forward to giving myself a treat after a hard day! This just crushed me further. And when you have a problem? Little to no response. No interest. No investment in my issue.
We use several delivery services but doordash hands down is the worst. Part of our food order is missing every single time. They have terrible service. Its not worth the headache when there's plenty of other services who deliver your full order. I really don't understand whats going on with doordash. Its best to use a different food delivery service. Save yourself the headache.
Don't use Door Dash! My driver stole my $40 order. I contacted Door Dash several times and still have not received a refund. I've spent over 4 hours on the phone with corporate who assured me verbally and with emails that my refund would happen. I have stage 4 inoperable cancer and the whole situation really effected my health. Their customer service is pathetic!
My son ordered food to arrive at my apartment left a picture of a box outside apartment complex like why how? Walk all the way there to be a picture of an empty canes box no bag plus I had ordered 2 panda plates very dissatisfied disappointed
I ordered a 4L box of wine from DoorDash and did not receive it! I called customer service and was told that the driver could not get a hold of me, which was a lie because I called and spoke to him to give him directions on where to park when he was almost at the hotel! DoorDash will not give me a complete refund, they are charging me a $25 restocking fee! So I'm getting credit for half my order that I didn't receive! I will be telling my family and friends to switch to Skip the Dishes or Uber Eats. Terrible customer service in a very competitive market! I guess they don't care about losing customers.
Driver indicated they delivered my dinner, and he failed to do so. He never called to say he had a problem finding my location. After I called him. He just said, you need to call Doordash customer service to complain. This is the perfect way (scam) to steal customer's dinner. Bottom line Doordash drivers in Miami are questionable to their honesty.
Worth a star for the company, not the driver. We placed an order and waited a while for it to arrive. Later received a text message from the driver saying it was delivered, picture included. But, what he actually did was, take a photo saying he dropped it off, but the front office cameras show he picked it up and left. Now his phone number is disconnected- Just an FYI- in case you run into this guy. Not cool. Keep the $5 tip, you must be pretty desperate to be doing this to people. The front office has a photo of you and your car, so they too know who to look out for... in case this happens again to someone else.
Ordered from door dash in Spring Hill tn. It took hour and 15 min to get food. Food had been turned upside down and all sauce had been poured out in bag. Food was also cold! We tracked driver and she stopped for over 30 minutes Somewhere while she had our food. Had to search internet to find a way to call DoorDash. They did refund our money.
I was a first time customer and ordered Blaze pizza. Pizza arrived cold as hell and the pizzas had very little toppings. I contacted Door Dash who ridiculously only offered to refund me $8 when my order was 35 bucks. I deleted the app and will never use door dash again. Being a first time. Customer and they dealt with me horribly.

The company need to make sure their workers are checking orders before being delivered. Got an incorrect order and was forced to wait three business days for a refund and could not have my order replaced due to the restaurant not accepting any more orders at that time. Just a huge inconvenience and your basically just told to take the refund or get a credit but it's like why get a credit when y'all can't even make sure the orders are correct before having them delivered.

They said the food would take a certain amount of time to arrive but then increased that time dramatically after I paid then refused to give me a full refund. When contacting support my concerns were not read and the replies were generic.
I strongly suggest you do not use this company. They sent me an email after I had been waiting on my food to be delivered for 30 minutes. The email stated they were not processing my order. However, they billed me anyway. I have been in contact with their customer service, and they refuse to make it right.
How can a company allow an order to come in if they don't have anyone to pick it up. If no one is working they need to shut off ordering. I put in an order and after waiting 45 min I checked on my order to see if it left but nope restaurant still had it and order estimated pick up was 6pm I ordered at 12pm. So they were just going to let me food sit there for 6 hours and get cold. I had to go and pick up my own food. First and only time I will try this.
My daughter has a subscription with doordash, one time she was visiting and wanted to order food. I didn't want her to pay so I gave her my card, since then they are charging my card for $9.99 in addition to charge her the same amount on her card. CLEAR FRAUD.
You could give them a $100 tip and the dasher will drive 20 miles in the opposite direction to deliver 3 orders that get dropped off before yours. You will still be waiting over an hour to get your food delivered. When you call customer service to complain, the Asian lady will only refund you $10.
Twice now I have ordered food from a restaurant about 10 min away from where I live. Got a text saying they were on their way, 40 min later they show up and food is cold. When asked why so late driver shrugged her shoulders and said they were busy. Door dash is not cheap, so cold food is unacceptable. Won't be using them again.
Due to the situation in the world I have been ordering food in hopes it was safer. But I have to say doordash is disappointing in every way. Every order is delivered cold. Almost every order takes at least an hour to be delivered. Most orders are either the wrong order all together or not made to order. And costs. Your paying double for your food in many cases. The final straw was they opened the food containers leaving the food unsafe to eat now just sitting on my porch and they refuse to refund my money. Do not use this service. Their business is garbage and their drivers have no idea how to handle and deliver food.
