I strongly caution against engaging with Doxo, as my experience suggests they operate as a scam company. Be wary of any involvement, as it may result in financial loss and unfavorable outcomes. I've gotten my money back and that was only way I could go about it. I got help from. (I USED THEIR WEBSITE URL AS MY DISPLAY NAME AND PROFILE PICTURE ON THIS REVIEW INCASE YOU NEED HELP AND WANT TO REACH OUT TO THEM). Note: I did this because of the strict policy over here and honestly i just want to help as many people as possible to get their money back.
Using doc so service has been a godsend! There is no need to worry or fret over payment being received where and when necessary and in a timely manner. I would suggest this service to everyone as it is very convenient, on time and safe Method for direct payment.
It helps me stay up to date with my due dates with the free bill reminders!

Only issue was when bill was over my auto pull limit, I didn't see email notice & it took some time to sort out the bill & late fees. A text reminder would have helped me. In general, I love the convenience & options.

I used this company to pay my state taxes. My credit card was charged on April 9 for the amount of taxes due and their 5.5% fee for processing. I received a Notice of Collection because the Department of Revenue did not receive the payment until 6/15? What did they do with the money for 67 days?

My preferred method of payment is directly to the customer. So, I'm hesitant in using an outside agency for a companies bill pay system. I have been using doxo for about two years and would like to report there have been "zero" problems so far. I would recommend and give positive reports to others.

I think it's absurd that you are even charged a fee for automatic payments. Sorry but they should be waived and not increased based on the total bill amount with automatic bill pay. The fact that the billing cycle moves up days every single month is also a joke. Why not have a normal billing cycle with a payment due date on the same day of every month?'!?!?

In an effort to help consumers reduce late payments and fees, we have a reminder program that is set on an individual account basis, we do not impact your actual billing cycle or due date. The method of payment (check, credit card, etc) determines how early doxo reminders appear for your providers. You can set reminders that fit your life on each account, just click a provider on the left of your account screen, then look for a "set due date" or "reminder" prompt on the providers page. There you can set the timing of all reminders.
I can also share we continuously evaluate doxo's affordability, and we'll take your comments into consideration.

I paid through this app and the money was sent to the wrong company. I have tried since June to get the money back so I can pay the right place. Money should have went to Archers Home Healthcare and it was sent to Home Healthcare in another state and this Doxo company tells me its my responsibility to get the money back. No help at all.

Credit card companies charge you to use their credit cards seems unfair that the people you're paying should also charge you. But we've all gotten used to that I just paid a $10 bill and was charged a $4 processing fee by this company. That's 40% fee that just seems greedy greedy greedy. Most of these reviews must be fake. Google "doxo warning" to see how many hospitals, banks, and utility companies are warnings their customers about doxo. At best doxo charges you a fee for online bill pay that is normally free. At worst they pay your bill late, leaving you with no lights. Or they look like your utility company and you don't realize you went to the wrong website. They are also known to start accounts for you and charge you monthly. They do in fact pay your bill if you sign up for their service, but days later and at higher cost. The worst part is most people don't realize they are using doxo and get blindsided by late fees or issues. Sometimes doxo loses the payment or sends it to the wrong place.
Tip for consumers:
Make sure you aren't on doxo when paying utilities. If the site looks slightly different it may not be an update...

I typed in search pay OG & E bill and I assumed that this was the way to pay you OG& E bill automatically. My lights got shut off due to non payment today. It takes 3 business days to receive payment. I feel like this site is misleading because you can pay right thru OG&E website why wouldn't that be what pops up 1st. I tried to cancel payment of course its too late. I just hope the payment really goes thru on Monday if not that will be devastating.

Doxo came up at number one position in Google search for my Comcast bill. I filled out personal information, then was notified that my payment would be posted in three days. That is unacceptable. If they want my business, then they should, at least, be convenient.
You didn't pay my AT&T of $238.63 around 11/12/19 because they threatened us. and sent 2 bills at once... if you had paid it then they wouldn't be calling today 12/12/19 demanding a payment and when I went on the phone to pay it they said we owed 505.98 and that is what I had to pay... so we will not be using your service again...

Doxo is a go to for making bill paying easy to remember with their notifications. The service charge per payment is easy on the wallet as well! I would and have recommended Doxo to many of my family and friends to help keep their bills in line and help make it easier to remember when due dates are.
I made a payment thru Doxo to pay my AEP electric bill for $488. It was paid to incorrect account number. Don't know if I gave incorrect account number or if it was their fault. Doesn't really matter. But both Doxo and power company said there was nothing they could do. Will never use Doxo again so take my email off your list.

I paid my electric bill using Doxo.
Confirmation said it would be paid by Nov. 22,
Then in Dec. I get word that my electric is to be turned off for non payment.
On Dec. 20, After several hours was finally able to talk to a person from Doxo, whom gave no reason for the bill that was deducted from my bank account plus there fee, was not paid.
So at current I am out the amount of the electric bill plus a late fee doxo's fee, plus the amount I have paid the electric company that I already paid Doxo for.
This is ridiculous.
Rep. From Doxo said a refund would be mailed to me within two weeks, which I have not yet received.
This is poor business
I would highly discourage anyone from using this company

It was helpful for me to have my medical bills paid by doxo until I discovered a big problem with the billing between my insurance company and the medical clinic's not billing correctly. My bill was paid by doxo on time using my credit card but getting it back on my credit card before the next month's billing was a time-consuming process with many phone calls before the invoice was corrected. Not doxo's problem since they paid the bills on schedule each month.

I like things that are easy, safe and convenient. With Doxo, I know that my payments go to where they are supposed to be and I receive the tracking information, I need. All my transactions have gone through smoothly without complications. Paying bills on the internet can sometimes fraught with dangers, but the doxo website, I feel my transaction is safe and secure.
Service fee is too high. It was hard to find my water account. Took 20 minutes to pay my bill. I would use this site each month, as I pay electric, phone and trash online. NONE of those sites charge a service fee. Posting this review was next to IMPOSSIBLE!

The water company and trash pick service never received the payments I made through Doxo! Their service department was no help and would not refund my money. I had to pay two months over! I lost over $100.

After using for auto payments for over a year- unable to cancel autopay. I've never used such a terrible website- outdated and locks up. No phone or email for support. When I called the utility company that is using the ancient doxo service they said they can't cancel either and they are unhappy with doxo. Had to call credit card company to block the charges.

I made a payment online August 29, here it is September 21 and my bill still hasn't been paid! I've called twice a week every week and they can never give me an answer. Keep saying they'll transfer me only to hangup and. Never respond back! Currently holding on the phone now for 47mins…. NEVER AGAIN!

Easy pay, Great for paying some bills. For a modest price, you get a bit quicker speed on the payment of some utilities, and the free version does pay. You need to schedule those bills in advance by many days to be sure payment is paid in time.
