I strongly caution against engaging with Doxo, as my experience suggests they operate as a scam company. Be wary of any involvement, as it may result in financial loss and unfavorable outcomes. I've gotten my money back and that was only way I could go about it. I got help from. (I USED THEIR WEBSITE URL AS MY DISPLAY NAME AND PROFILE PICTURE ON THIS REVIEW INCASE YOU NEED HELP AND WANT TO REACH OUT TO THEM). Note: I did this because of the strict policy over here and honestly i just want to help as many people as possible to get their money back.

All I want to do is pay my freaking bill! Why are you charging me after you said, if I signed up for the monthly payments you wouldn't. Now I'm removing my monthly auto payment.

I paid my personal taxes through them, believing it was affiliated with Boone County. It was listed on the bill website, therefore, I concluded I had the correct website. I was charged a $28.00 fee. I was unhappy, but the consequences of waiting for the last minute to pay. Unfortunately, I received a late fee from Boone County. I called to inquire and learned that Doxo is a third party unaffiliated with the company that will mediates payment. I did not need them nor would I have divulged personal information to them. Please, buyers beware! This company charges a HIGH FEE, delivers LATE PAYMENTS, and DO NOT REFUND. I don't believe they are a legitimate, credible company. I informed them to erase my personal information. Buyers beware!

I'd suggest not using this company if you value your hard earned money. Uncoordinated, amateur, and incompetence are just a few ways to describe this company. Zero over sight and they operate w/o the permission of vendors, then offer no conclusion to fixing any issue when you're owed a refund. They deny responsibility and hope you don't follow up. I've called Better Business Bureau and Consumer protection. T

Ive tried making my car payment twice through doxo. Both times theyve charged my bank account and held the money for about 2 weeks before suddenly refunding my money? Been hit with late payments because they cant deliver the money. Will never use again and recommend nobody else does either. Not to mention they claim there to be no fees when you link your bank account. And as you can see in my receipt i paid with a bank account and was charged 4.99. Ridiculous company filled with lies

I received a threatening letter from Doxo 2 1/2 years after moving, demanding a utility payment. Turns out my utility never heard of Doxo, does not do business with them, and supplied me with an email and my final statement showing a zero balance, which I have forwarded to Doxo. Of course they continue to harass me with double talk and contradictory statements and still insist I owe them for a payment they never processed. I am going to rain hell down on them for wasting my time. Every relevant state and federal consumer protection bureau will be hearing from me.

These guys are an annoying middle man that our water company uses to pay bills electronically. They take 6 days from the time they pull the cash from your bank account until your water account is actually credited with the payment. One can only guess that they are making money off the interest float for those five days instead of just immediately sending the payment, like any other normal utility.
With same-day ACH, this process is unnecessary and annoying. In this day and age, it should not take 6 days to pay someone.

Directly debiting from your bank account (ACH) will be less expensive but will take longer to process. Paying by card will have an additional fee, but should reduce the time it takes to process your payment. Once your payment is with your biller, it takes two days for them to post the payment to your account.
