I strongly caution against engaging with Doxo, as my experience suggests they operate as a scam company. Be wary of any involvement, as it may result in financial loss and unfavorable outcomes. I've gotten my money back and that was only way I could go about it. I got help from. (I USED THEIR WEBSITE URL AS MY DISPLAY NAME AND PROFILE PICTURE ON THIS REVIEW INCASE YOU NEED HELP AND WANT TO REACH OUT TO THEM). Note: I did this because of the strict policy over here and honestly i just want to help as many people as possible to get their money back.

Paid last month's bill 3 times because unclear if funds were transferred. Could not get help on how to get the excess transferred back to my bank. This part was a little confusing.

Doxo online bill pay makes it very easy and faster to pay multiple bills. Not bad pricing either, considering you would pay the same price for a money order at a bank.

You pay doxo immediately electronically then it takes them weeks to electronically pay your bill and charge in excess. Many ways to set up immediate payments for way less or zero costs.

I did a Google search for my water district so i could pay my bill online; the DOXO site popped up. I will take blame for not reading more closely but it seemed legit. So i paid on line with an almost $5 fee. A few days later i received the new bill (I was late on the first one to be fair). The new bill still had the previous balance on it so i called the water company just to be sure. After looking into things i fount out that the payment wouldn't arrive at the MUD district for 5 more days (10 days in total).
Now lets fast forward to today when I receive my new bill, now with three months of dues on it. I called the water company and they said they haven't received the payment. I got on DOXO's live chat, completely useless. I called their phone number. The lady could speak English but with a very heavy accent that made her hard to understand. And at the end of the day i wanted to cancel my payment and she told me that the payments department would get back to me in up to 3 DAYS! Lets see if they call.

Sorry about the rant. I don't ever write reviews but have never been so upset. The bottom line is DON'T EVER USE DOXO!

We agree that 10 days isn’t ideal, and we are working to decrease our processing times. At this time, paying by your bank account (ACH) will be less expensive but will take longer to process. Paying by card will have an additional fee, but should reduce the time it takes to process your payment. Doxo does also offer the option of scheduling your payments ahead of time, if that helps—though we understand that may not always be an option.

It is easy to use and I like the Reminders, although they want you to pay the bill so far in advance sometime. That tells me there was a delay in processing between the two entities.

Made a payment through them to pay a dental bill. Doxo said that the payment was delivered on a certain date. I checked will my biller and they show no record of receiving my payment. I tried to get ahold of doxo and had no luck. All I got was the virtual chat that was useless and answered none of my questions or how to talk to a live person. If you have any other means to pay your bill do it. Its a Horrible feeling that I can't resolve this issue with them. Especially during this time when money is tight. I feel that that I'm out the money I payed through them. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY TO PAY YOUR BILLS.

I have had no problems paying my gas bill through Doxo. Success all the time.Even when my account numbers were changed I just went in on my page and changed the account number and it was easy to do

It made me chose a star - this co deserves ZERO! I received an email that paying my bill through Doxo wouldn't have a fee. I was charged $3.99, which I haven't paid and now I'm getting another payment request for a fee on that fee. I called numerous times, finally got Andrea -she verified my phone # to call back in case we go disconnected and requested that I email my notice to her. She confirmed receiving my email and put me on hold for almost 25 minutes total, then of course was disconnected. I've not gotten a call or email response. This company is a TOTAL SCAM. You can't contact any human to help you. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH DOXO. I want these fees removed, then I will never do business with DOXO SCAM AGAIN.

I pay my Credir Card bills with doxo. Never a problem easy to do. Recommend highly them. There site is so easy to use bills paid on time when you want.

So, I try to make my Utility Payment online. Click on the Utilities website (onlie, because the Postal Service has failed in getting my payment to them), get directed to DOXO. Pay the bill. They Charge me $10 to forward the payment... grumble! Sao, at the end of it, I can find no evidence that the money I posted (Gave them CC info) will be qpplied to the Utilities Acct # for me. AND then... oh it will be 5 days before the Utility Co gets it... so it's late... add a late fee from them! I called the Utility Company... the said they won't receive that payment for 2-3 weeks!... and emphasized that they are not affiliated with DOXO... and THEY DO NOT RECOMMEND USING DOXO TO PAY BILLS. I hate scammers with a passion... Be Careful where you click!

Tip for consumers:
DO NOT USE DOXO FOR ANYTHING

II paid my water bill through these people on 10/17, the money cleared my bank 10/18. On 10/28 my water was shut off by my water company. The water company said these people are in no way connected with their water department and they had requested these people stop listing their services through web searches. I contacted Doxo and was given the run around by a person that barely spoke English.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!

Generally speaking, ACH (direct debit from your bank account) will have a lower fee, but will take longer to process. A credit or debit card might have a higher fee, but only takes a day to process. Once it's with your provider, they take about two more days to post to your account. This information can also be tracked on your account once you've made a payment.

Doxo does also offer the option of scheduling your payments ahead of time, if that helps—though we understand that may not always be an option.

Every time I try to log in to doxo it does not recognize my password. Every time I attempt a log in I have to go through the tedious process of asking for a temporary password, opening my email, waiting for a temp. Password to be sent, go back to the doxo log in site, enter the temp. Password, selecting a new password, and enter the new password two times. See what I mean about tedious? It is likely you found it tedious just reading about the process. Now consider having to do this rach and ever time you try to log in. On top of this they charge fees that would make pirate Captain Jack Sparrow blush. This is absolutely ridiculous! I recommend that anybody considering doxo not join and use any other service available. By the way, most banks and credit unions have their own bill paying apps so there is no need to pay a third party to do what your bank will do for free? If I had to choose between doxo and Pony Express I would choose the ponies. Doxo has a rating chart from 0 (maybe 1 not 0) to 10 with ten being excellent. (0 to 10). I suggest a new rating schedule exclusively for doxo. It would go from negative 10 to 10. (-10 to 10). My rating for them is below negative 10.

Similar to a bank bill pay, doxo allows you to direct payments to your biller - but with almost 50K billers in the doxo network, you're able to pay more billers than with any other network. While we think that's pretty great, we encourage you to do what makes the most sense for you.
