So I got a chance to go in Duluth stor in Kentucky. I really thought they were closed not one car in parking lot. I went in and even with there 25 off sale the prices where way to high. Gather reason I was told for high prices was the quality what a joke there items where no better than Walmart! I really hate it for the employees because they have no idea the company is on its way out of business.
An absolute shameful marketing scam! Made in the U.S.A., my $#*!! Duluth Trading Co. Is nothing more than a glorified label selling clothing/apparel that is manufactured in Asia by child labor sweatshops. Don't get sucked into their fake advertising narrative. Buy real American made products.
I have been a Duluth fan for a long time. About 2 years ago I received an order in which the elastic waist band became stretched out and useless within a few weeks. I reached out to Duluth and was basically told " I'm sorry, but too bad for you"
I put Duluth on the back burner for a while so they can sort out their issues.
I just spent 63.00 from this once great company and the elastic band 'folds' making the wide band 1/2-1/3 as wide, feels like a broccoli rubber band around my waist.(5 pair of Men's Dang Soft Briefs) The elastic around the legs is non-existent and flimsy
I feel as what started as a great American company/ product has sold it's sole to over seas sweat shops.
I 'am very disappointed
Ever since they dropped the no bull guarantee the quality of their products has taken a huge tumble. Pockets come apart just from keeping stuff in them, zippers wear out quickly. I'm actually writing this review from work where I have to figure out what to do because the button just came off. It's a sad deal, I found my favorite clothing story right as they were about start to start making their products cheap.
Got a pair of camo cargo pants for Christmas and they felt great but first time washing they faded really bad n after third gentle wash the fabric is shredding! I also hated the tag saying made in Vietnam! I will never buy any more from communist soldier butchers! The synthetic underwear is horrible! The cotton feels best but don't know yet if elastic will hold up? If it doesn't I'll leave another bad review later. The bottom line is I'll never buy anything else from Duluth!
I have been purchasing Duluth clothing for an easy 10 years. Work construction fantastic pants and coveralls worth every penny. But it has gotten to the point unless I am able to go to one of their stores I am no longer purchasing from them. They're shipping is absolutely horrendous I I buy a ton of merchandise online they are by far the worst company with regards to shipping that I have ever seen. Just horrible. At least with other companies if you want to pay extra for UPS you can. With Duluth it doesn't make a difference you are not getting your merchandise for 3 weeks at best. They continue to use the post office I cannot be the only one I'd love to know how much business they're losing because of their shipping.
Ordered an item recently. Sent me an email saying it was shipped USPS. Sat there for days never moved. Call Duluth they said I had to wait 10 days for a refund. When it 10 days called to get my refund the next day on USPS website all the sudden it showed not shipped. They're a bunch of liars customer service is terrible. The stores may be OK but their online presence and people that handle customer service are absolutely the worst. Don't make the mistake I made by ordering online with this jack off company
To start, their "No Bull" guarantee is no longer credible. They have an entire laundry list of reasons why you can no longer return items. Not surprised, but certainly disappointed.
The quality of the products has hit a new low. Very cheaply made. Also very disappointed by this. In the beginning the products were very good. They actually had flannels that were respectable for a northern man. Unfortunately they cut those down to size recently in the search for higher profits.
Just garbage work DTC. Fire the CEO, shrink your store footprint and get back to what made you popular.
New "No Bull one year warranty".
We stand by the craftsmanship and durability of our products. If you are not satisfied with any item you purchase from Duluth Trading, return it for a refund within one year. After one year, we will also consider returns for items that are defective or don't perform as designed. No Bull means if something goes wrong, we will always treat you right.
It's all Bull-...!
$150 shoes, 2weeks out of warranty. Stitching starting to let go. No coverage! Over the years I was ok paying 10-25% more with a true no Bull warranty. But it's gone and I'm done with the Bull-...! I will take my business elsewhere.
In just a few short years it seems as though the companies additional retail site expansions did not bear them fruit. The no bull guarantee has largely gone, well,... bull$&@"! They no longer back their high priced products with a no questions asked life time guarantee. A move which for this consumer, and I'm certain for most others, will accelerate the death of this struggling retailer. Alas another victim of the impending brick and mortar death spiral. Big mistake Duluth trading. You will be gone soon due to your stingy move to not honor your trademark no bull guarantee, a "guarantee" which turned out to be nothing but bull$&@"!
Update: Finally received my products and they're great, but I stand behind the fact that their customer service is as rude as I've dealt with and not willing to help.
I'd love to review the product, but I never received it. Customer service online is just rude and unprofessional, while giving you the same tired runaround, like they're just copying and pasting what they're supposed to say. Had a rep (shout out to Kim!) use caps lock to explain something to me like I'm a dog or a child. They're just not willing to help and their "No BS" policy must stand for no buyer satisfaction. Wish I would've read reviews before making any purchase there. 1st and last one on my end.
Received two pairs of Duluth Trading underwear as a gift. One pair the elastic band fell apart after only a few months...contacted Duluth only to have them say too bad...poor customer service and quality not to mention overpriced. Do not waste your hard earned $.
There are no "free returns". The company claims to have "free return shipping", but the company charges a $7.99 postage fee, which is deducted from your refund. This means that if your order is under $7.99 or barely above it, there's no point in returning it since you'll just be losing money. Their "No bull" policy is BS. Don't bother shopping at this company when there's plenty of others that actually offer free return shipping without hidden fees.
Especially during this time, this company should be waiving the fee.
Don't be fooled by a company that spends all their money on advertising and doesn't deliver. Shipping charges are very excessive encouraging you to buy more items for free shipping. Don't I've been waiting for my items 11 days now and nothing. I bought Black Friday items with free shipping from many companies, everything already arrived.
I just read the negative reviews on Duluth and felt I should share my great experience. Between ordering men's jeans incorrectly and a store mixup I was billed for three pair of jeans rather than 2 pair. I lost my paperwork so expected an unhappy outcome. The local Louisville, kY store manager and corporate customer service worked together, unraveled my transactions and immediately issued two credits. They patiently spent over over 1/2 hour because I had no paperwork. They were very pleasant, efficient and resolute in resolving my problem. I am very pleased with my experience with Duluth and my new jeans.
DO NOT TRUST DULUTH TRADING! 😡😡😡
For weeks they have owed me a refund for more than $500.00. They told me that they were sending the refund by check, but when I finally got the check it was for only $16.00. I filed a case with PayPal hoping that I could get my money back, but Duluth Trading lied to PayPal and told them that they had already refunded all of my money. For some reason, PayPal believed them and closed my case. Duluth Trading got away with stealing my money.
I bought a women's lined shirt jac in size large via online. It arrived quickly, it was too small, particularly in the upper arms. Sent back for free and exchanged for an XL. It also arrived quickly and fit perfectly. Wanted to be able to wear a thin shirt underneath and I could do so without any issues. Washed it once, on cold water, low heat tumble dry as is advised on washing instructions and now it barely fits! The arms are too tight to wear the Shirt Jac over another shirt and is even uncomfortable wearing solo, grrr. And to boot, the inner flannel lining now hangs below the outside of the shirt in the back. Do not waste your hard-earned money!
BUYER BEWARE! I've worn my Alaskan Hardgear rain coat under a dozen times over the last 3 years and the pockets have fallen apart due to poor quality. Your company boasts that you have great quality products. This is simply not true. It is a clear defect as both pockets have come apart. Disappointing. You've lost a customer.
Twice I have ordered underwear from Duluth and both times my order after paying for it was canceled, because they apparently say they don't have underwear anymore. I guess I just don't. Understand that and I got no explanation from the customer service. All the state is that they will refund my money. Duluth used to be a good company to buy from. I guess if you cannot actually pick something up in your hand and pay for it and walk out of the store, you're liable to get screwed and that's a shame. Times sure are changing. I guess buyer beware!
I bought a tank top that tore the first time I wore it. The material loses shape immediately and doesn't bounce back. The neck and arm holes are all stretched out. They won't let me return the item if it accidently got caught on something. Their NO BULL return policy is absolute bull.
Answer: It is a scam. They don't follow their own policies. Buy elsewhere.
Answer: They profess to have a NO BULL guarantee. That's it, no fine print. But there is fine print, well hidden on their site.
Answer: It was not difficult getting Customer Service. My return was denied twice by email, twice by phone and once by a supervisor. It was the 5th effort that finally got me through to a supervisor who gave me the credit.
Answer: My order has taken over SIX WEEKS AND STILL NOT DELIVERED. Most ALL PRODUCTS ARE MADE, STORED AND SHIPPED FROM CHINA. You always get what you pay for!
Answer: You should call them and explain. They should replace them. Last year, they would have replaced them. They are different now so I can't say what they will do. If they refuse, call back over and over again until you get a reasonable agent on the phone. Ask for a supervisor also, if needed.
