I ordered 4 pair of shoes and only received 2 pairs. I had to call to find out where my other 2 pairs were at. Now I'm only getting 1 pair in another 2 weeks. Don't recommend Famous Footwear to anyone.
I purchased a pair of Nike's for my 6 year old. Two days later they started ripping. I called customer service to replace them and was told I had to call Nike directly?! Called Nike. They kinda laughed and said they didn't sell us the shoes so they couldn't replace them. That's what I told the rep would happen. Go to footlocker-or anywhere else.
When to buy some sandles at your famous footwear at the rio grand shopping center. The girl behind the register was so busy trying to pick up the customer in front of me exchangeing names, addresses & phone numbers. They took so much time i had to put down purchase asked if i could be helped and was told to wait my turn. I walked out without the sandles and will never return. This will be posted
I went to a Famous Footwear and selected ship to my home/work selection because they didn't have my size in the store. I waited and waited and still after 2 WEEKS my shoes hadn't even shipped. I called customer service and cancelled my order all together. They said the only thing they could do was write me a check and send it in the mail. I finally got my check in the mail 3 weeks after I called, which is absolutely ridiculous. I will NEVER shop there again. Not worth it and a horrible experience.
I got some nikes that I loved and tried on in store but didn't realize that I'd be way more comfortable in half a size down till after already wearing them for a day. I went in and exchanged, the lady was super nice and I was in and out in 5 min and exchanged at no extra price! They're awesome
I ordered a pair of sneakers and received 2 right feet! I then reached out to them and they Ask me for a picture and then weeks later They tell me to send them back and the original packaging and original label I do over a month ago and still have not received a refund or 2 shoes one right and one left! I get shoes from them all the time they have lost my business
I have been working at Famous Footwear for a few months. I would just like to clear up that if you purchase shoes online you can return them to any store if need be. Return policy is within 60 days of purchase and cant be worn outside. If you would like free shipping you can come into a store and let an associate know which shoe youd like and we can get you started as a rewards member which will get you free shipping to your house and you start earning points towards money back to use in store and you get better deals and coupons. Also being a rewards member allows us to keep track of your receipts if you ever lose them! Happy shopping!
I rate this a 4 because I personally try to make every customer happy and satisfied but the upper management has definetly put me through hell and dont know about continuing my job here.
I ordered a pair of Ugg boots on the 18th and it's already the 26th. I have not received any notification about my order. They said they would notify me after my order was in place, I never did. I now bought them again on the 26th and still no notification. I'm calling my bank. I don't want to pay for something that I am not receiving. I am not impressed with Famous Footwear. I did contact them and it says they won't get back to me for 3-4 days, what company takes that long to respond?. It's usually just 24 hours.
I ordered sneakers - it came to $48.99. - they did not fit - I returned then and received a refund only after I was able to provide them with the tracking and proof that it was signed for and then I only received $41.99 as a refund - I questioned why the deduction and am still waiting for a response and it's been 2 weeks - I will never order from them again
I love this store and people been great with me but how do they not know that something is not available then they tell me 10 days later that they don't have my item and then tell me that I have to wait two weeks for a check to come in the mail when I use a card
I was trying on a pair of work shoes and walking around to test them (in the back of the store) when an employee approached me and asked me to put my own shoes back on. He took the ones I was trying on and said snobbily that he would "keep them safe at the front for you." I told him to put them back; any store that doesn't want their customers trying on their shoes and walking in them will not get my money. I am upset because I am a very trustworthy and honest person and I expect to be treated as such until proven otherwise. This kid was rude and I will certainly never go back there and will advise my family and friends to steer clear, too.
Went to buy snow boots for my grandsons! The first store the employee was wonderful and helpful! They only had a pair for one, she contacted another store and had the other pair set aside. We paid for the first one and went on to pick up the next pair! The kid behind the counter must have been very new and left the cash register to find the manager - she came out and was very rude - could not return the first pair and then buy the two pairs to receive our $10,00 coupon! My wife ordered a pair of shoes from their website and after she got the confirmation email of the purchase I noticed that it had the right picture of the shoe she wanted but not the right name of the shoe. So when we went to cancel the order within 5 mins after the purchase (by phone) they told us they couldn't do anything about it, even though it's their fault. I found out later that alot of their products on there had the same thing going on with the wrong picture and description of the shoe. We're now waiting on the shoes to come in the mail just to turn around and send them back with an eight dollar shipping fee. Time and extra money it cost us to shop here, never again.
There website is not true information, they did not have the shoes in the store that was listed on there website. All there shoes were fake and rip offs. I was truly dissatisfied and disappointed. I am truly not satisfied with the quality of the shoes you sell, especially being fake and still costing a lot of money.
I ordered shoes as a gift on December 17th for which they promptly took payment for. On December 18th Famous Footwear sent me an e-mail stating they cancelled my order due to "lack on inventory". It is now December 31st. I have sent 8 e-mails and tried to call the company 4 times (I was on hold for at least 10 minutes each time and no on ever answered on their end). I also tried the chat option on their website and it just takes you to a blank page. I have still not received a refund from them for the order they cancelled.
I would prefer to give zero! The only option I really have to get anything back is to send the shoes they sent that were not even close to what we bought. Also these shoes didnt even look legit! I am so annoyed! So now I have to wait and my girl was suppose to received these before school
My wife and I closed out an account at Famous Footwear because of a negative experience we had with a return at the store. We called Famous Footwear to payoff and close the account. The representative said the account was paid in full and we would not have to do any further business with them and closed the account. The next month they charged us a late fee. We called them on 11/5/2021 to dispute the charge and they were VERY rude especially the manager Misty! I will never deal with Famous Footwear or Comentity Bank ever again! Terrible service!
I went in to famous footwear at the round rock outlet mall and purchase a pair of shoes for my son. The shoes unfortunately didn't fit, so I sent my young adult children back to return for bigger size. Of course they don't have it, so I told the kids to do a refund. My original purchase was made with a debit card, so since my kids didn't have the debit card the money was placed on a gift card. I just feel if you pay with debit or cash and you return you should be giving back your cash not a gift card! I don't pay with a gift card! Regardless if it was a debit card or credit card or cash it's all money!
Idk how theyre still in business. Shoes I wanted are online only. No ship to store option. Shipping costs $7.95 and its SLOW. Shoes finally arrive, dont fit. No option to exchange. Return shipping costs another $7.95. Site states you can return in store, but no bar code or instructions are provided for employees. Took two associates 10 minutes and endless scanning to figure out how to return the shoes. No offer to find anything comparable in store. No offer to ship shoes to store. My only option would be to pay for shipping yet again, wait another 1.5 weeks for FedEx delivery, and pray they fit this time. No thanks.
FamousFootwear is my go to place for cheap shoes. I get dress shoes and tennis shoes here, and I even bought a pair of flip flops. I found it to be cheaper than DSW and stores like that. I've heard that there are local stores for Famous Footware but I've never been to one.
Answer: I don't know what the most popular shoes are, but I can tell you that if you order online, you should order a brand you already have, so that you know how they fit you. I know that Clark's shoes are very popular. I already had a couple pairs of Clark's, so I knew the right size. I ordered 2 pairs online, and they fit perfectly. If you can, go to the mall and try on a brand you like, see how they fit, and then order online if it's cheaper that way.
Answer: I Actually had a good experience. Ordered from 3 companies the same day the same shoes only in different colours. Ordered from 3 companies the same day the same shoes only in different colours Belk and Pennys did not have the colour I really wanted. I never had heard of famous footwear so I ordered because they had the exact colour I wanted. Sadly I read these reveiws and thought I had been cheated. But their order came in 1st and was exactly the same shoe. I am not sure if it was a fluke but it was some of the best purchase I've ever made!
Answer: Yes this company does allow exchanges and returns. But the one thing everybody should know if you order online and get a receipt it says how much you have to pay to return them. So yes this company does but you have to pay. For wide feet I feel like they should have more options, my mother has wide feet and it is really hard to find shoes she can fit into but also her size. What I would do if I were you I would buy Puma's, they work on all different lengths of feet and they are really comfortable.
