Shipping takes forever
September 10, 2019

My boyfriend's birthday is September 12, I ordered shoes as a gift ahead of time so they'll be here before his birthday. The estimated delivery keeps changing and now they won't be here til September 16. Very frustrating.

Another awesome shoe store with great promotions. I have ordered from this site several times and have had no issues-shipping is $4.50. They have a great selection and I always shop by %age off because even some of these selections are cute. Have had absolutely no problems with this retailer. An added plus is that if they don't have the shoe in your size, you can enter your email and they will notify you when they do. They also offer rewards and will send you a coupon for money off when you have reached so many points. Happy shoe hunting!

The shoes were delivered within 5 business days. When I picked them up, the box had no lids and was just put into a plastic bag. The bag was torn as well as the boxes were damaged. I'm glad I received my purchase but the shipping condition was bad.

Will not arrive in time at all.

I'll start off by saying I really actually really love the boots I ordered they are beautiful, but the shipping is horrible. When I ordered them they said it would come in a week. It was actually shipped out a few days after I had ordered them. After a week it was not here and it said it would come a week after. Following the next Monday, it still was not delivered. I was tracking it online and for 5 days there was no recent change of location. I called the place and they said it should come the following week. I was really upset and thought they just would not arrive at all so I messaged them on Twitter and Instagram. After that, the boots were delivered in three days. In total it took about 5 weeks for the boots to get delivered

Famous footwear sells great quality shoes that are fashionable for almost anything that you wear and can have you in a great mood leaving you to not have a bad day. Although I would like to point out that some of the adds the children or the adults or anyone in there adds creases there shoes encouraging others to do so Bringing me to say that I believe that famous footwear should advertise if possible crease protectors. People who purchase shoes shouldn't carelessly crease the perfectly fine product they have bought with there hard earned money. Overall this leads me to say that we should see more of crease protectors, thank you for letting my write this review and have a great day.

Wrong shoe no refund

I bought a pair of fila shoes in a size 8, they came back a size 13, I'm like who wears this size and the size was literally posted on my order, then no return label or something to return my shoes in i had nothing so i was ripped off my money cheated as a customer, and this is how you do people never again i will buy from cuz you ripped me off 50 dollar's and i really had my heart set on those shoes what a joke and i should sue you over that!

Working as an Employee

I have been working at Famous Footwear for a few months. I would just like to clear up that if you purchase shoes online you can return them to any store if need be. Return policy is within 60 days of purchase and cant be worn outside. If you would like free shipping you can come into a store and let an associate know which shoe youd like and we can get you started as a rewards member which will get you free shipping to your house and you start earning points towards money back to use in store and you get better deals and coupons. Also being a rewards member allows us to keep track of your receipts if you ever lose them! Happy shopping!
I rate this a 4 because I personally try to make every customer happy and satisfied but the upper management has definetly put me through hell and dont know about continuing my job here.

The lady working the Huber Heights, Ohio location was very disrespectful. My grandmother needed help with a shoe, and she eventually decided to order them online, and the lady working walked away sarcastically and shrugged her shoulders. Also, this store didn't have a single shoe that fit my brother and he was a size 7. Whats up with that?

Don't waste your time!

If I could give zero stars I would. I will never buy another thing from them. I am trying to get $70 returned to me and they refuse to return it, says my bank has a hold on it. For over a month now! Don't buy or deal with these people, very unprofessional

Horrible manager
March 5, 2021

Went to the Salem center mall in Salem OR and asked the manager if they sold champions and he told me he would not sell any shoes to me because I was a woman. I am very angry and am thinking if sueing due to sexual discrimination. This is unacceptable behavior for anyone let alone a manager. You need to reconsider who you hire. I will make sure everyone knows the discrimination your managers have.

Don't order online!

I made the mistake to order boots from famous footwear online on 9/9/21, it says 4-7 business days for delivery but it is now 9/28 and nothing! I track the order and it's been in Chino since 9/18 and hasn't moved! I wish I would've looked at the reviews before making my purchase! ‍‍ I will make another review on the boots when I receive them.

I returned items and have received no refund - even sent them tracking info that shows they received the items over 2 weeks ago and still nothing - no one has even gotten back to me! I think this company might be a scam.

Great variety but if your package get lost in transition you're sol. Zappos is better with customer service in cases like this. Famous footwear will make you wait an additional 10 days after package was delivered to someone other than you to even attempt to do anything.

Disappointed
November 19, 2015

Hello, I just wanted to leave feed back about my time at famous footwear. So when I was in the other day I was not greeted. Much less never asked for help. Also when I was trying on boots there were 2 employees staring at us like 10 ft away for a half hour I mean just staring. It Made me feel uncomfortable and not welcome. Also when I did purchase the $79 boots they are now falling apart and I have only had them for a few days. And since i have "worn them" i can not return :( very disappointed and I have been a customer for along time but sadly will not be going back.

Waste of money

I think i already made a review when I had first purchased the shoes which was too soon. I purchased some fila brand slip resistant work shoes, at first everything was great until the tread starting peeling off and melting. Ive never had a work shoes do that. If you're gonna buy a brand of shoes just go straight to the source. Don't waste your money like i did.

While it is common practice for retailers to hold your money for up to ten days after the returned item is signed for at their warehouse it seems that they for some reason are not happy about doing it. I will never buy on line from Famous Footwear again and may never set foot in one of their stores either.

Promised 4 day shipping and is now 10 days and still no delivery. Response from famous foot wear is essentially non existent. How long should a customer wait?
Fed Ex says shipping is "pending" I've learned my lesson. If they don'have stock "never" order stock from another location.

I received a brochure, in the mail, with my daughter's last name & my address. It was about their reward program. I don't have a reward program with them. First of all, they were going to project blame onto my daughter for what they did. No matter what she has done, in the past, she would not give my address, with her name, phone number & email address. They treated me extremely rude & refused to take my address off the account, after 5 calls & I will hear from their department in 3 days. I went on Linkedin & blocked them. They were fishing for my information while letting me think it was my daughter. They are getting reported to the FTC. A SCAM! No, purchase brought!

When I placed my order they didn't give me any of the promotions, so I called in on the main phone number, where I was told they cannot do anything "because it is my fault I did something wrong when I placed the order". I've never been treated like that when I've called somewhere to ask what happened. I shop at famous footwear quite regularly, too regularly in fact. I cannot believe that is the response I received. I said I'm not sure what I could have done considering I've never had this issue before and was told "I'm not sure but there's nothing I can do for you now". "Have a great day". I'm just surprised.
