We recently visited Applebee's in order to take advantage of the Top Gun movie ticket promotion. For every $25 spent, you would receive a movie ticket. We spent $58, therefore earning 2 tickets. I submitted necessary info and they claimed my receipt was missing info. I submitted a photo and they sent my info to another department for further verification. I kept emailing to find out status of my tickets. Never a response from their customer service until my email today, again asking. I'm now being told that the promotion is over and they don't have to honor my fulfillment. This is poor customer service any way you look at it.
Sold us tickets to Beetlejuice - Spanish version, but it wasn't labeled that. Then refused to refund them b/c it had already started. (Theater was not full.) No way for us to know it was in Spanish until it started. We support the bilingual offering, but don't speak Spanish!
Paid the $7 shipping charges and waited... the package arrived with water damage. Essentially ruining the poster, I've contacted them 3 times and each time I get an auto response saying "Your question has not been submitted yet" and then gives me links to check my gift card balance and donations? I however had no problems with my ticket purchase, so 2 stars.
I've been ordering the same tickets since last year. The last successful order was made on July 13 2023. Then on July 14, they locked my account. Customer Service told me to wait 48 hours before placing another order. But I didn't get any response from Fandango. On July 20 I ordered some tickets, and this time I used my friend's account because I don't know the status of my account. When I asked my friends to order tickets for me, Fandango locked their accounts. Now I found out my Fandango account is under investigation for fraud. What a joke. Please read other reviews other people have posted. They are the real fraudster.
If you are looking for a way to completely waste your money and allow a money laundering ring to continue to exist, then please by all means use this service. However if you are looking for any other outcome I would suggest using any other method to make reservations, acquire tickets or generally be treated in a manner one would expect from law abiding citizens.

Their joy with having zero refunds and terrible policies make it hard to believe they even achieved a 1.2 out 5 rating from well over twelve hundred users. Wow they are trying to go out of business.

Do not buy tickets via Fandango! Waited for over 20 mins only to get someone who didn't speak English well and was clueless. I asked for a supervisor and they just just stopped the chat and left. Buy direct from the theater.

Cool site for movie times. Customer service is horrible. They did not care that the theatre had no confirmation of my order even thought I brought the credit card and the printout. Fandango said basically "we have your money and you're not getting a refund OR an exchange"

Horrible customer service. Waited an hour on hold, then when someone finally answered they "transferred" me, then I immediately got cut off. Also their VIP rewards are a total fraud... I was not able to redeem them. I'll never use Fandango again!
Received $25 Fandango gift card. Bought 2 adult tickets for $11 each. At checkout, it was revealed that Fandango only allowed $9 towards tickets plus a $3 convenience fee. Total rip off! Cant believe they are still in business.
Handy source of show times and info but don't buy tickets there. They charge a hefty convenience fee (buried in the fine print) and dealing with their customer service its obvious they are just trying to brush people off.
I recently made reservations for Star Wars without setting up a Fandango account. Although my credit card was charged, the transaction did not "go through". Therefore, I have no tickets. Beware of this process
What a HORRID company with a terrible website! These people are the absolute worst, I will never order anything from them again. I ordered tickets for a Friday, and there website is so bad, it set the date for Thursday (the day I ordered). I called them to fix the issue and they were no help at all. The person I spoke with was obviously someone in India who I could barely understand, just great! They would not switch the ticket dates or provide a refund. I even disputed my credit card transaction because, why should I pay when the goods/services were not received? They won. $#*!s! Burn in hell Fandango, your reviews SUCK, you should be shut down as a company and all your idiot employees should not even have jobs. Go suck it you incompetent pieces of $#*!!
Customer service line (number found online) simply hangs up on me immediately. Tried 4 times. I did, however, find an online page to request a refund. This process was quick and easy online. The charge to my card for my ticket purchase hit my account immediately. The so-called refund has not yet appeared, and I have no assurance it ever will. Also, they refunded less than they originally charged. Fandango does not give good value for their "convenience" fee. RECOMMENDATION: buy your tickets AT the theatre. Next time, I will!

You can't print out separate tickets, they just give you one for everyone, that's ridiculous. I've never seen something like that before. When I complained about that, I got a message creating an account for me, rather than doing anything to address my concerns.
Thanksgiving day, sitting in the theater 20 minutes before start time. My wife's phone rings, our eldest daughter has been in a head-on crash and is being admitted to a hospital an hour away. The theater won't give a refund because we bought on Fandango. On the way to the hospital, and after several 30 minute waits and disconnects, efforts to reach Customer Service reveal that they will not be giving us a refund. Over $54 dollars passed away. What an inhuman cooperate structure & policy. Never again. You're dead to me!
Horrible! Bought 6 tickets online, tried to exchange / refund and was denied. Tried calling multiple times and could not get through. Finally utilized the only help chat after waiting an hour and "James" denied my request then disconnected us.

Their mobile platform is absolutely horrible. We received multiple error messages in the shopping cart. Customer service is reasonably friendly, but from reading the other complaints, it appears that upper management prefers to not fix things, and doesn't believe in the one call solution.
When someone buys a card, and gives as a gift, then we find that the number doesn't work 3 months later... and worst of all there is no place to fix this from FANDANGO website.

Fandango is so bad I don't know where to begin. They have NO customer support whatsoever. Their website crashes all the time, both on mobile devices and home computers. When you finally figure out (after 30 minutes) how to navigate to their chat help, you're put in a queue for 45 minutes! Email requests for refunds are not processed..."error, error, error." I found a phone number and they won't answer because "all customer support agents are busy, call back." Are you kidding me. Fandango sucks.
No place in the list of rates or fees is the "so called Convenience Fee" listed. They are cheats. I will not be wasting my time with time or money with them again. No reason to pay a penny more than box office prices for MOVIE tickets! EVER!
I am trying to get a refund for tickets I just purchased because I selected the wrong theater. No phone number, the "can't make the movie?" link is broken, " Sorry an error occurred while processing your request.", and the chat says it will take 35 minutes... Really?
Bought tickets with access by phone. I accidentally left my phone at home. Was told no way to get refund or credit after movie showed even though tickets were not used. I will never use fandango again!
You are the worst Fandango! You completely suck. Really bad. Misrepresents wait times for on line chat. Said it would be 5 minutes, then kept changing. 45 minutes later I got assistance from someone who could not help me with a basic request that could easily be accommodated at a theater. Called the phone number and waited for over 30 minutes with no answer.
