I use it for the very first time to see end game, was nothing but issues. I purchased tickets but made a error. Taken me 27 minutes to fix it and had to cancel and repurchase. Had to pay cancel fee and what 3 days to be refunded. I will not be doing any business with them again.
A few years ago Fandango seemed to work well. The last several times using it was frustrating and useless. Spent nearly an hour trying to buy 2 movie tickets. Never succeeded. Would not recognize seats reserved. Continued to get error message which does not identify the specific error. Asked for valid Loyalty Number, which it showed in box. I entered it anyway. Got same error message. Checked account info for Loyalty number. The correct one showed in box, however, it continued to ask for a valid number. Q&A does not answer questions. Repeated process several times with same results. Will no longer use this method of purchasing tickets. Easier to go to box office.
Ordered one too many tickets. Could not just refund one ticket got a partial credit back. Waited for customer service for 45 min. Then never answered. So poor. Never again. Fool me once...
After being a very good customer for years, I needed a refund and found out how horrible their customer service really is. I attempted the refund online but because there was $5 off on $60 of tickets, it had to he done through customer service. I waited for 40 minutes and was then disconnected. I emailed them with all the relevant info and received a reply several days later telling me they couldn't do a refund through email. I needed to do it online.
At that point, the movie day and time had come and gone. I replied explaining the situation again but got no response. I no longer use Fandango.
Tried to use an online promo code to get a ticket. Very soon after realized I had a conflict and tried to switch my ticket time. Spent an hour in an online chat queue to be told they were unable to help me in any way since it was a promo. They were quite unhelpful. Guess I won't be using Fandango ever again.
You literally offer nothing that going to the native theater company apps/websites don't already have. Your refund policy is trash. You used to wave the "convenience fee" and now you don't. Why has it taken a full week to get my refund? From now on, I'm going through AMC and Regal and cutting the middleman out. You. Suck.
The movie I needed a refund for was at 820 PM, I finally was able to speak to them after being on hold for 2 hours and being kicked off the online queue 3 times and left without a call back at 1233 PM. I was told they would need to send my refund request to corporate. I was emailed a response by the corporate the next morning denying my refund with the reason that it was past showtime so they could not give me one. This is a terrible company, I have emailed them back with no response other than I could go speak to the theater manager and have him call to allow fandango to release the funds. Terrible, terrible, terrible! This company basically stole 100 dollars from me, never ever use this service!
Received a Fandango Gift Card from a family member. The card can only be used online, not at the theater or through the AMC app. So, I attempted to get tickets through their site and the cost was 50% more than buying them direct. Screw this BS Fandango scam. DO NOT USE FANDANGO.
Saturday night I purchased 2 tickets for the movie Little. When I went to my email to pull the tickets up but there was no email from Fandango. I checked my credit card statement on my phone and was charged for 2 tickets. The manager wrote me up temp tickets and escorted us to the seats we had purchased online but there was already people sitting in them. He checked their tickets and they too had seats c6 and c7. The movie was sold out so we didn't even get to see it. It was a complete waste of time and money, as we had drove all the way there, bought popcorn, candy and drinks and then didn't even get to see a movie. I have called Fandango 4 times since Saturday night and each time a recording tells me to wait and that someone will get to me. I wait and wait and wait and nobody every gets to me and eventually hang up. Then I tried leaving my call back number and the recording promised they would call when it was my turn. I left a call back number at 5:03 p.m. Monday night and they returned my call at 9:51 that night and I was sleeping so I missed the call. I also tried the online chat twice and the wait time starts off at 10 minutes and then went up every time I check. This is absolutely ridiculous! I want my money back!
Why is it so hard to get help from fandango! I had money on my fandangonow account and it disappeared. Try to call and accepted the call back option. They never called me back. Called again and stayed on the phone for an hour. Took the call back option and again never called me back. I am writing this review while on hold with them.
Fandango's website messed up and charged us 2 times for the tickets. I never got the confirmation for the tickets, thus never got the tickets. Took 2.5 hrs on the phone I hung up. 1.5 on the live chat feature the rep that helped me blamed the charges on my bank. When I asked to speak with the manager, the manager was no more help. I asked him about a rep that helped my husband because that rep asked how he could help then disconnected the session. When I asked the manager about this he said the chargers were by banks fault and disconnected the session. Such poor customer service. I will never use them again!

Got movie tickets from Fandango, the theater and Fandango over sold the movie. When in the theater, no seat available! Went to theater manager, he said "can't help you, you'll need to contact fandango." Contacted fandango, they said nope. It's after the movie has started, explained the situation and they said "no refund." So point using their service, poor customer service.

Only used Fandango to use up a gift card. Terrible experience. Site would not accept our Regal card, even though I input it w/0's, and without. Use the card all of the time at Regal and it works fine. Tried to find contact info online-they make it hard to find on purpose. Called them, was told it would be about an hour on hold, accepted the "call back" feature which states they will hold your place in line, right! No calls at all. Got on their chat feature, about an hour wait as well. Totally not worth it! 42 in the queue as I type, and another 1/2 hour of waiting.
Went to refund tickets before show time. App errored and put me in to chat queue. Waited 2 hours for someone to tell me no. Even after explaining situation, no attempt to exchange or refund.

Accidentally sent my tickets to the wrong email so I never got my confirmation code & when I tried calling to get my code they had my on hold for 2 hours and I ended up almost missing the movie horrible site never using again
Answer: Shauna, try Ken's suggestion. After years as a loyal customer & "Fan" of Fandango, I had an issue that should have been easily resolved. When I finally spoke to a live CSR, the response & subsequent email were robotic & useless. I now buy gift cards from the theatres & save my $$ and time. Good luck to you, though!
Answer: You do Julie S., but if you purchase it within 2 hours of the movie you are out of luck and that's what I happened to do. I accidentally chose that same day rather than the next day (Saturday) and since I was within a 2 hour time frame they said too bad. Never will use them again that's for sure. It was an honest mistake and I explained that but the woman on the phone was very nasty.
Answer: I would try emailing them, unfortunately there is no one to call as far as I know. If that doesn't work why don't you try calling a theater near you that takes fandango, ask for a manager. Answer: I didn't wake up with a dead horse in my bed but all other evidence in dealing with Fandango indicate that they are mob-owned. Perhaps the mob has more morals. Maybe not mob-owned. What would be worse than the mob because that's likely who owns them. Difficult question to answer. Best not to do business with them anyway.
