This has been the worst customer service experience I've ever had. I purchased a pair of glasses and had expensive lenses (worth €500) fitted. Shortly after, the arm of the glasses broke due to a manufacturing defect. Despite admitting the defect, Farfetch refused to reimburse me. They demanded that I return the glasses, even though I explained that I had spent €500 on custom lenses. The representative told me I wouldn't get a refund unless I returned the glasses and that my issue didn't matter because it was 'against their policy.' I am now facing a €900 loss (€500 for the lenses + €400 for the glasses). Their service is absolutely unacceptable.

Purchased a ‘ leather ‘ bag for a gift. Turns out it was PU! Also the designer bag by PLAN C. Didn't have composition label and where it was made. I asked if it could possibly be fake? Farfetch didn't like that al all...
Complaint to farfetch and they told me the lag had " some " leather component. It didn't and basically fobbed me off.
To their credit they said I could return it but it was a gift and I wasn't going to ask for it back.

Positive reviews are likely to be from people who liked the product they ordered. Lucky them. The return policy is a nightmare; and if you haven't sent it back within five days there commences a long struggle, and likely as not, you'll lose.
I've been stuck with two items, one an expensive black handbag that's too large and too heavy for me- I simply cannot use it. It sits in my closet. Yes, I was involved in my work and forgot to return it within five days, but it's of a timeless style. Further, I was met with rudeness and condescension. Too bad, because it has nice things but they are impossible to deal with, so I don't any more. No other place buts so much of the burden on the purchaser, including their cockamamie system for getting labels, etc. Who needs this?
I have used Farfetch at least 25 times so far and have never ever had a problem. Monday's sale purchase of McQ sneakers was delivered Friday morning. Fast delivery and all duties and taxes included in price. Highly recommend this company.

If you have issues with the order, you're SOL. Customer service advisors tend to overpromise that they would resolve the case but you'll never hear from them. My case is still going on for almost 15 days now, I've dealt with 9 reps and spent 2 hours of phone call repetitively explaining the situation. Don't be fooled by the discounts that you could get at Farfetch. It's way too stressful if they mess up your order. When you do complain about the issue, the most you'll get is a lecture on how the business model is bullet proof and a small token of appreciation -10% off promo code. If you're going to buy luxury goods, you might as well enjoy the experience by visiting the boutique/store and get treated well.

I submitted my return request online, but the system seems to have something wrong. It pops up some warning message but then shows the return is in progress without sending me any return label or information. I contacted the customer service. They were very nice but have not solved the return label issue for a couple of days and told me every time that I would receive the label soon... I am now worries if I could return my order on time since I am going to travel outside US soon but still not able to return the order. Its operation and return system is so inefficient.

I bought a pair of shoes that were defective from day one. They told me that it would take "a few months" (!) to do a "brand assessment" (!?) and that they could give me a 5% discount. Five percent. If there is something wrong with your order, you are out of luck and out of your money.

Paid exorbitant price for pair of Jeans for my daughter as a Christmas present but they were what she really wanted and couldn't find them anywhere else. Was feeling quite proud of myself for actually having tracked them down and then waited with anticipation for them to be delivered. Delivery due Friday December 6th, repeatedly checked front door but by 10.30 pm no sign so went to bed. Text arrived Sunday evening to say that parcel had been delivered Friday at 20.40! It definitely had NOT! Farfetched have refused to take up the issue with DHL and I have received no compensation. I will not be using this company again! While I appreciate that delivery is not under their control, I do feel that they owe me their customer the courtesy of pursuing the issue with DHL
Wanted to tell everyone about my experience with Farfetch! Everything was great. My account and order wasn't showing up after I had purchased something so I sent over an e-mail to support and got a reply within hours! It was a friday night to boot, I know they operate in a different time zone but still impressive nonetheless! Shipping was also very fast, within like 6 days-coming from Italy to Canada! Loved how my purchase came wrapped up in cute polka-dot paper as well!

I ordered a messenger bag all the way from Japan and I got it within 2 days of ordering it (keep in mind Im from the US)! The package was in pristine condition and had no shipping complications! One of the best online shopping experiences I have had, and I have had many. I do ninety percent of my shopping online, and will definitely be clicking back to farfetch.com particularly for luxury items and speedy shipment.
Email communication was instant and shipment prices exceptional. Living in Australia, a lot of our luxury items are heavily taxed. I purchased shoes at farfetch.com for $600 cheaper than their cost in Melbourne, and they arrived four days later from Italy.

Ordered a coat online, they had it in every size. Used promo code because im first time buyer. Ofcourse after 4 days of not receiving any mail. They cancel my order (not in stock anymore) and gave me refund. On the same site but delivery for other countries, the coat is pretty much in stock. So I guess they prioritise the ones who pay full price, but have your money and order pending just in case. Worst experience. Will never order again!

How to return the overpaid bag? They still have not responded- 3 months later. Pathetic in this day and age. Will never buy again ( by the way spent 1500 us on 1st order with another item and asked 50 us discount as per price going down 2 days later). Price is a bit cheaper that other online shops probably bec they have many varieties (sizes and options bec. Of diff shops under them). To be honest, i was a bit worried after placing an order bec ive read a lot of negative reviews about them. But all went smoothly. Processed and shipped quickly 5 business days from the shop in Italy to Melb Aus. No nitty gritty custom stuff. I was happy with DHL too bec tracking system is real time. Order from StockX a fair bit, ssense.com and other online retailers- farfetch is by far the worse. Their customer service is rude, and I've recently had a package show up completely empty. It appears to have been stolen somewhere along the shipping. The delivery driver, who I know on a first name basis, shrugged and said to take it up with the company, his job is to deliver the package, empty or not. The company did an investigation and said they spoke with both the shipper and shipping company, who confirmed the box was not tampered with, even though I sent them photos. I order thousands of dollars worth of stuff a year, it's not about the 150 dollars I'm out, it's principle, they are doing nothing about it and said it would not be refunded. The shipper is liable for the package until delivered AND INSPECTED!
We bought a €300+ bracelet from Farfetch. After less than 8 months, the bracelet broke without any abnormal usage. We contacted Farfetch and after forwarding the pictures to their partner, they stated it was a result of wear and tear. They keep pointing at their partner's decision and they refuse to take any responsibility. We are extremely disappointed with Farfetch's poor customer service.
Purchase Marsell shoes in 2020. I wore those rarely and gently during colder seasons. One of the shoes cracked this year in the middle of sole. No mechanical damage. Tried to reach out to customer service. Played games of emails. They couldn't find that shoe under my account where I could easily see them on the list. I had to send the order number and nothing was solved. Out of warranty window. Well 2 years of very gently work shoes for over $500 with huge crack way up to the leather on the sole isn't great quality as claimed. Be aware.

I've order a pair of shoes on Farfetch and I received the wrong pair. Even so, there's no customer service representative to speak to. I'm not sure what's going on. I only received an email asking me to return the pair that I have, and then what's gonna happen? I don't even know will I receive the pair I order, so ridiculous.
Disappointed after receiving the goods. Button fell off. Unwanted thread everywhere on the garment. Workmanship is poor. Spending USD400 above for this vest is totally unacceptable. I never have this experience before when buying things in Farfetch.
I ordered a pair of Tory Burch sandals from Farfetch (they were $40 cheaper than anywhere else). After I ordered I noticed my sandals would be coming from Lithuania and I thought "oh Sh*!". However, my sandals arrived in FOUR days (that time period included a weekend). I was pleasantly, pleasantly surprised. I'm very happy with Farfetch and will order from them again!
I was nervous about ordering from out of the country and after reading negative reviews, but I had a PERFECT transaction. I bought beautiful Jimmy Choo shoes and saved over $250 from US prices. They arrived within 3 days. The shipping company contacted me and I didn't have to give any other information. They sent me the tracking info and the shoes arrived faster than ordering from a nearby store. I highly recommend Farfetch and will definitely buy from them again!
Farfetch is by far the worst e-boutique I had encountered.
-First they over priced their item, like for ex. They sell Saint Laurent items more expensive the Saintlaurent.com and on the top of that you have to pay shipping costs. Since when a resellers is more expensive than the official seller?
-Second, they offer you discount/free shipping promo codes that are not valid.
-Third, when you enquire them for their bad performance they come up with silly excuses.
In summary they are Mr. Porter/luisaviaroma- wanna be!
Don't bother visiting the site…just buy with professionals (Mr. Porter, luisaviaroma or the official e-boutiques of you brand of choice)
