This has been the worst customer service experience I've ever had. I purchased a pair of glasses and had expensive lenses (worth €500) fitted. Shortly after, the arm of the glasses broke due to a manufacturing defect. Despite admitting the defect, Farfetch refused to reimburse me. They demanded that I return the glasses, even though I explained that I had spent €500 on custom lenses. The representative told me I wouldn't get a refund unless I returned the glasses and that my issue didn't matter because it was 'against their policy.' I am now facing a €900 loss (€500 for the lenses + €400 for the glasses). Their service is absolutely unacceptable.
I have bought a lot of expensive items via Farfetch and always had good experience. That was only until they had to take responsibility though.
In short I bought several identical t-shirts in different colors only a few months ago and one of them has an obvious manufacturing flaw which got a lot worse the first time I used and washed it. After a lot of (stupid and unnescessary) questions which I answered the initial response was I could get 10% off a new shirt. What a joke! Afterwards they closed the case due to them deciding it was wear and tear = no refund or new shirt.
So yes! The customer service and taking responsibility when not making money is indeed VERY FAR FETCHED! Shame on you.
My best advice is to do your shopping else where!
Would give zero stars if possible. Worst customer service experience of my life. Size was incorrectly given in Italian on their website and they refuse to refund me $50 in shipping costs. Or at least I think they refuse because they just STOPPED responding to my emails and the return is due tomorrow. Had to turn the dispute over to my credit card company. Can't believe these people can stay in business operating like this.
A week ago, I placed an order for a pair of Alexander Wang shoes $475. The item was being advertised as "IN STOCK" and my credit card was charged immediately. Almost a week after, I received an email saying sorry out of stock. Now I am being told it will take another "few days" for the money to be refunded to my credit card. Obviously the company is holding my money for their own use. They sure didn't waste any time charging me, but can't seem to process the refund in the same manner. I won't trust them again. If I don't get a refund soon, I'll report them to Amex as theft. Just look at all the bad reviews!
My first experience with Farfetch could not have been any more ideal.
When I ordered off their site from a boutique in Spain, the shipping was prompt and well-received. I especially appreciated the quality and care put into the packaging - the satin bow it came wrapped in was such a nice touch. And there was always an opt for open communication in case something went wrong, which was comforting but not necessary in this case.
Farfetch has become a favorite online shop of mine: they're organized, provide an incredibly unique and extensive selection (thanks to the incredible boutique offerings), and have a very sensory-appealing layout.
I do a lot of shopping on this site. Expensive merchandise but top notch quality and really fast shipping. No hassle returns and prompt refunds the couple of times I have had to return stuff. Luv Farfetch!
I asked for a help though customer support. What I've got as a reply was a copy-paste standard answer which did not help at all. When I called this out and told that I would rather talk to someone real instead of getting a generic answer which you can also find on FAQ - they have just sent another generic reply. It almost felt like - are they doing this on purpose to piss off their clients?! I'm not sure but overall terrible customer experience.
Once again its been a flawless experience. I use farfetch mainly for there sales, if you have the patience to search the items on sale for your size you will find a bargain. This time I got the last stone island over shirt for almost price, it was dropped to my door in 48 hours, they never let me down.
So I didn't consider the fact that Farfetch deletes bad reviews off their website and made the mistake of verifying on their site that they're legit - they're not. My order was supposed to come April 1 - 3. By the third, the tracking on their site shows it did not even ship yet. Okay. So I call their customer service at least five times from then to now. "I'm not sure what's going on, we'll look into it and get back to you" is the usual answer (hint: you will not hear back until you contact them again). I call yesterday and the guy says he doesn't know what's going on but will refund my the shipping costs because I've been patient. Funny enough, I get an email tonight saying but order has been sold to someone else and is now sold out. Um WHAT. Who knew I was taking part in a bidding instead of simply buying a product. Anyways, moral of the story is never buy from Farfetch if you value your time and a quick delivery.
First order 6 days ago, fantastic price, service brilliant, goods came sooner than other orders placed within the UK. Pristine condition, I only wish I had discovered this online store years ago, would have saved a fortune on designer goods for family and friends. Here is hoping the next order goes as smoothly as this one, certainly worth a try.

My worst online shopping experience ever. Read through the posts here. Take heed. These guys do not know how to run an online shop. Mistakes from when I made a purchase, all the way to double-charging me with import duties, which took forever to refund. Customer service (if that name even does justice) are helpless, aloof and even arrogant. Worst experience ever. I would not even give this 1 star.

I have been an early and loyal Farfetch customer since 2014 and have bought the majority of my clothes & shoes through them.
I recently made a purchase that was not delivered to me.
Fedex claims they delivered the product to my door and I signed for it. This is false and has never happened in my 20 yrs of ordering online. Farfetch is refusing to refund me for the package which was not delivered by their selected courier, despite my track record and historical spend.
This is NOT a business that can be trusted.

I have been a loyal customer for 7 years and have recently submitted a claim for a product they shipped but was not delivered. Farfetch refuses to reimburse me.
If they ship your product and it does not arrive to you they will not refund you for the product not delivered.

Buyer Beware! Buy direct and don't use Farfetch. I paid full price for Gucci Horsebit slippers which are too small and they say their partner can not return or exchange for a larger size! I should have bought from a large store or Gucci direct. These shoes shipped from the Netherlands- did not realize that otherwise I would not have purchased. Very sad that even though the National Retail Federation has urged extended return policies -Farfetch is not granting me an exception. They are not extending the return policy even though everyone was told to buy early due to shortages and shipping delays due to supply chain problems. Kudos to Best Buy for allowing purchases in Mid-Oct for returns until mid-Jan! Farfetch is not being reasonable! Gucci has not responded to my WhatsApp request to intervene either.

Partners are international....buy local or even from a reputable store with a store front...especially if you are paying full price.
I have shopped on Farfetch for years. They are a safe site to purchase items internationally, since they handle all the customs forms and courier scheduling. Sometimes designer goods will even be a bit less expensive obtained overseas because of a good exchange rate and no sales tax or VAT. They also require that their vendors to meet a standard of quality, so your items will almost always arrive nicely wrapped and presented. I recently received something that was not up to that standard, and Farfetch arranged for a return even though it was past the return window by the time they got my communication on the problem. I recommend Farfetch without hesitation.
I used to be happy with Farfetch and have actually bought a lot there, but the minute something went wrong with an item, they refused to take responsibility.
My expensive Chloe sandals broke the second time I wore them and could not be fixed to a level that was sustainable, so they tried everything they could to shift responsibility onto their suppliers.
It has taken countless emails and "threats" to get them to issue a refund. And also a lot of weird/disorganised communication from their customer service. It happened in the summer and we now have april! I also spend money on two repairs and asked if they would refund that, they said they would look into it, but they never replied.
I recommend people to stay clear of this place at any cost! They don't seem to follow standard consumer protection laws.

Shipping was good. Packaging could have been better. Overall i am happy with the purchase. Expected the jeans to be bit more thicker material, but they are very thin material to feel in hand. Especially for being a GOLD member shipping should be free, but they still charge a fee for the postage.
The service and quality of the products deteriorates each time I order. I returned my order over a month ago and sent three emails asking for a status update but no response and unsurprisingly my refund hasn't come in. They treat me like garbage despite being a high access member. I'm worried how new customers will be treated.

I order from Farfetch often and I can often find deals/steals on items outside of the US and they arrive within days. (I'm shocked to see negative reviews but they are not my experience so I can't argue.) All of the pricing includes import and customs fees so you won't be surprised with another bill after your items arrive. All items are genuine and usually arrive in custom/boutique packaging with notes from the retailers. Even though you are ordering online you still get the luxury treatment.
The only hesitation I have about writing a positive review is that I don't really want others to find this gold mine and snatch up the items that I want.

I'm really upset and angry that they will not refund me £355. My parcel was signed by someone I don't know. They refused to refund even through the tracking clearly states some random man's name. Eventually had to make a chargeback claim with my bank and was successful. Stay away from this company they even get people to write good reviews.

I made an order and send them multiple emails to track down my package. Never got any response from them, I still hasn't received my package. It's been a week. The tracking number they provide says still in preparation so which means it's not ship yet and not sure what is holding up. You expect so much more than this when you expensive product

I order an ySL handbag but not receiving
I ordered $230 Boston Birkenstocks, these shoes already being marked up in price, and was sent a broken pair. The button on the shoe had completely been broken off and was laying in the box upon opening. Customer service was not helpful and replies were long awaited, I am losing money now that I have to make a return due to their negligence. I unable to find these shoes anywhere now or order a replacement from Farfetch as they are now out of stock. So dissatisfied, this does not capture the virtues of luxury retail.
Tragedy happened again. I bought a cloth from farfetch.com, they sent me a wrong size, and I sent their email and shots of my order history and cloth label I received. But no one responds me until now, guys what should I do, pay another shipment fee to send it back, or asking him to exchange this item with free charge? This shopping experience is so disappointing!
