“WORSE CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE”

This has been the worst customer service experience I've ever had. I purchased a pair of glasses and had expensive lenses (worth €500) fitted. Shortly after, the arm of the glasses broke due to a manufacturing defect. Despite admitting the defect, Farfetch refused to reimburse me. They demanded that I return the glasses, even though I explained that I had spent €500 on custom lenses. The representative told me I wouldn't get a refund unless I returned the glasses and that my issue didn't matter because it was 'against their policy.' I am now facing a €900 loss (€500 for the lenses + €400 for the glasses). Their service is absolutely unacceptable.

If I could give them 0 stars I would.

I had previously attempted to order from them in 2012, and they wanted me to do a bank transfer and show extra documentation. I adamantly refused and requested a refund. By the looks of the reviews - I was one of the lucky ones. I was able to recover my money very quickly, but I monitor my money very closely, so I was calling and e-mailing on a daily basis, and when I didn't receive an adequate response - I was very publicly contacting them through facebook.

As that was nearly 2 years ago, and remembering that they had had mixed reviews at the time - I again let myself fall prey to the Farfetch siren song for a designer handbag. I elected to pay via paypal and use my credit card (not my bank account). THANKFULLY, Chase immediately flagged this as fraud (Farfetch: what does that tell you if one of the largest banking corporations in the world recognizes you as a fraudulent company?). It gave me enough pause to look for recent reviews on this shop/site. THANK YOU. THANK YOU TO ALL OF YOU REVIEWERS AND TO MY BANK FOR SAVING ME FROM A TERRIBLE $$$$ MISTAKE.

It looks like every review site on them has about a 50% rating. So you have a 50% chance that you will receive your good, or a 50% chance that you are going to lose your time and your $$$$ (and quite a bit of it).

BE SMART - STAY AS FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY AS POSSIBLE!

I ordered John Varvatos, not John Varvatos USA!
These are 2 different brands. USA line is the cheaper version, and there is no way I am paying $150 for the non designer brand. Please resolve ASAP

Placed an order on a Monday, paid for expedited shipping and when it hadn't shipped within the 2 day window I contacted FarFetch a few times for answers. I was first told it would be fulfilled and arrive in time, then the second time I was told that the representative had contacted the partner and that it had been picked and was waiting on the dock to ship (representative changed his answer twice within the conversation as to when it would ship). Then the third time I was told that it was waiting on the dock, couldn't be cancelled and that there was no way to immediately contact the partner (even though the previous representative had done) so a ticket was put in with the partner but I never heard back. Then the fourth time the representative was able to easily tell me that the order had not been processed due to the item likely not actually being available and that they could put in a request to cancel. Why weren't the other representatives able to tell me that? Why did each representative's story very? During multiple calls I was misled and told conflicting stories. They also charge your credit card the second you place your order, in my case the item wasn't even available but I was charged. They are basically holding onto my money and providing nothing in return plus they gave me the run around. I have never had this experience with other online retailers. Will not be ordering from them again, don't recommend.

Tip for consumers:
Look elsewhere for luxury items, other luxury retailers have much better experiences and customer service.

I ordered a pair of Volta boots today at the price of EUR100 and shortly after I received an email from RBS confirming that my payment successfully went through I received another email from Farfetch saying that my payment has been refused and hence my order cannot be completed. I emailed them again and got a reply saying my credit card would be credited for the amount charged few days later so in fact my pament did go through. So i went to the website to check on the boots again and the price had gone up to EUR168, this all happened within 3hours since I placed my order. Farfetch intentionally cancelled my order so they could mark up the price. They DO NOT honour what they've put up on their website and neither do their suppliers. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SHOP!

I have paid 305 for a Gucci belt recived a Empty box the told me the would contact me back in 14 days 14 days passed I contacted them again the told me I would have a answer on the 20th off February I had to call them on March 3rd and received a email the smorning saying sorry we can't refund you so I paid 305 for Notting it's a scam no one should order from here.

They take no accountability for the charges the boutiques they represent. Had an awful experience that cost me at about 200 USD over paid!

Farfetch is low quality, customer service really low fetch too. Don't be bothered. Save your money and time.

FARFETCH ID *******, Size 54, and I have received from your partner ELLITE BOUTIQUE
C/ Conde de Altea, 55 ALTEA ******* Spain the item but Size 53, which doesn't fit on my wife finger.
I have to mention that the ring doesn't look brand new.
I am disappointed because the ring was supposed to be a birthday gift for my wife 50th anniversary.
I'll proceed with return procedure tomorrow.

Sent 3 separate emails asking for return label, no response-finally had to call the team-only to have them say I was past the 14 day window when I had initially emailed them three times but they "were not" receiving my emails-sent screenshots to the first customer rep after I called in to prove this, had to spend 30 minutes explaining to her the issue-the dress was also advertised as the wrong color-I know this because I reordered this dress specifically because the one I already had was ruined. Had to call again 2 days later-no update on status, new rep now tells me to send photos of the dress with tags, had to YET AGAIN reexplain the situation-has to go through "approval process" which should have been done 2 days ago without me having to call back in. Asked for when I should expect to hear an update and told-it is Friday, so maybe sometime next week-meanwhile they want to try to stick the client to their 14 day international return policy. Definitely will not be purchasing any items from them again-SSense, Mytheresa, Saks, Revolve, Matchesfashion, Shopbop, Moda Operandi, Net-A-Porter-literally buy from any of these sites than this junk service. Mistake after mistake with no accountability or customer service.

IT IS THE MOST UNPROFESSIONAL AND UETHICAL COMPANY ON THIS PLANET. THE COMPANY IS A TOTAL SCAM. TOTAL FAKE AND CHEATS
THEY SENT ME DEFECTIVE AND BROKEN BAG WITH SCRATCHES AND AFTER SEEING PICTURES THEY REFUSED TO SEND ME A RETURN LABEL AND TAKE IT BACK? THIS BAG DIDNT EVEN COME WITH AN AUTHENTICITY TAG!

HOW DO THEY SEND A DEFECTIVE ITEMS BEFORE CHECKING? THEY DONT DO ANY INSEPCTION. I WANT TO SPEAK TO THEIR CEO FOR DUPING CUTSOMERS.

THEY ARE ARE A FRAUD HIDING BEHIND THEIR $#*!TY RETURN POLICY. YOU CANNOT ROB PEOPLE OF THEIR MONEY. YOU NEED TO TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE DEFECTIVE ITEM YOU SEND AND TAKE IT BACK LIKE ANY OTHER LEGIT RETAILERS.

PLEASE GUYS I URGE YOU BE CAREFUL AND SHOP ON SELFRIDGES, HARRODS, NET A PORTER ETC. ATLEAST THEY ARE GOOD STANDING RETAILERS.

WORST experience of my entire lifetime spent shopping. I ordered a down jacket which turned out t be too large. I live in a small town that does not provide any DHL service (only Fedex and UPS). After discussing this issue with customer service they emailed me a Fedex label addressed to the California office. I immediately went to Fedex so that Farfetch would receive my merchandise in a timely manner. They did. That was seven and one-half weeks ago and I have still NOT received my refund to AMEX. I have been promised via email and telephone that the matter is being "investigated". Every single correspondence has been that the matter is being "investigated". Evidently the package goes from Californis to Europe and then sits in some warehouse. I explained that my contract is with Farfetch and not some boutique in Europe. I have obviously reported this fraud to AMEX. I do not believe anything any of the customer service people (Amanda, Brittany, Jerome) tell me at this point. I am ultra furious that this company can be so devoid of any interest in pleasing customers. I shop online a lot since I live in a small town. I have NEVER NEVER EVER had such a disgustingly HORRIBLE experience in my entire life. Be smart: DON"T SHOP HERE AND TELL ALL OF YOUR FRIENDS NOT TO SHOP HERE EITHER.

They cancel orders when the price does not suit them, and lie telling the item is out of stock and then restock the item on the website! (hoping the customer will not notice)

I ordered two times the same item, same size, there was two items left in my size and each time my order was canceled telling me the item is out of stock whereas the two items left were restocked few minutes after the cancellation of the order

In reality, they canceled my order two times not because it was out of stock but because I used my 15% off bronze fidelity code on sale, and the price paid seems not sufficient enough for them… That's against their conditions, they have no right to cancel my order because they don't like the price I paid!

They are SCAMMERS! A disgusting practice, which I never experienced (after 15 years of ordering on luxury retailers) until I ordered on Farfetch… And I'm not the only one which report this practice, they do that regularly, you can see plenty of reviews about this matter.

Ughhhh i am done with this company.
Ughhhh i am done with this company. The worst ever … it is a trap they put some items on sale with a really good price because usually they will be defected and in a really bad condition. I ordered a jacquemus bag was for a very very good price coming from a boutique in Hong Kong which i was worried about ordering it from that boutique but unfortunately i did. I was on vacation so once i got back I opened the package to find out the bag has peelings and scratches that I can't even ignore them or unseen them … so I decided to return the customer service representative was really nice and helped me to sent it back. I sent it with all tags attached and even inside the same box that I received in … after 10 days waiting for my refund. I found out that the boutique in Hong Kong refused my return and said that the bag has been used …. Sounds really funny to me. Because thats how I received it from them … LESSON LEARNED WILL NEVER EVER ORDER from Farfetch… they are dealing with not trustworthy boutiques. I disputed my transaction and we will see what will happen i have all proofs
