This has been the worst customer service experience I've ever had. I purchased a pair of glasses and had expensive lenses (worth €500) fitted. Shortly after, the arm of the glasses broke due to a manufacturing defect. Despite admitting the defect, Farfetch refused to reimburse me. They demanded that I return the glasses, even though I explained that I had spent €500 on custom lenses. The representative told me I wouldn't get a refund unless I returned the glasses and that my issue didn't matter because it was 'against their policy.' I am now facing a €900 loss (€500 for the lenses + €400 for the glasses). Their service is absolutely unacceptable.
It's protecting the criminals that are selling fake bags from China and they don't check properly. On Sunday, I discovered they sold me a fake bag and I've given them every opportunity to fix it. And they gave me some script

I received my item and after one use, the threading of my pants began coming loose. These were Dolce & Gabbana pants so about $400 - not what I would expect for this price tag! I contact customer service immediately. I didn't even want a refund, just a replacement. They told me they can refund 10% or speak with "partner boutique" for resolution. After 3 weeks of waiting to hear back, they told me they cannot do anything as this is a result of normal wear and tear. I have $20 pants that last me years but somehow they can say 1 use is wear and tear and makes it ok for them to start ripping apart. SHAMEFUL! Also - the material is VERY thin, you can see see through them. A part of me wonders if these are FAKE designer pants. I will never purchase from this company again and anyone that's thinking about it. LOOK ELSEWHERE!

But from them if you want to be stolen from. Bought an expensive skirt off them and returned it. DHL delivered the skirt back to me a few days later. After asking for another returns label and 4 missed collections later I dropped it off at a local collection point. The tracking shows delivered to he destination yet Farfetch refuse to refund. From memory the skirt was well over £200. Taking this up with AMEX now and possibly court to get a refund. Total joke of a company had spent thousands but never using them again.
They delivered empty, opened package which was worth of 300 USD, when I tried to get refund, they said nothing can be done since they asked courier and they said they delivered package unopened :) not sure what else would they say. No other proof, just word of the courier. So it means, even tho its luxury company and you could order something over 1 K and if it gets lost/stolen etc... they will not do anything about it, even with the customers who have spend a lot of money throughout the years on their website.

I received the goods today and found that the shoelace was damaged (See attached photo), it is really ridiculous, this is not my first time to buy goods at Farfetch, and I suppose Farfetch is a good company and have a good quality control with all ship out products, I really don't understand why it happened on me this time. Would you please let me know what will you do with this failure? Are you going to send me back a new shoelaces or give me a big discount for me to buy again at Farfetch? The worst experience Ever!
They invite people for the interview, making 5 meeting and tests, presentation... full package... waiting of time. After that no one even replying on your email regarding the results... be more respectful!
They are selling very cheap quality stuffs. I bought my sister a pulse for $1,450. She wore it only 2 or 3 times and then the polish on the lock came off really bad. She was so upset. My wife has some MK purses cost only $200-$300 but the materials last forever. WON'T order anything again here.
I just got the most disturbing post on Facebook from PETA! It's a picture of a rabbit in a cage (unrecognizable) being tortured by having its fur yanked out alive so farfetched can make angora clothing with it. This is sick, inhumane and should be illegal. People do not buy from this company. Please!
Sold me a crossbody bag that arrived soiled with non-removable stains. Suede obviously worn. Did not respond to request for return and refund. Will be disputing with my credit card company and flag this as fraud.
It would appear that ordinary customer service does not apply to this company, a Marc Jacobs handbag was purchased, the zip broke after three uses and they will neither replace or refund the bag after 6 months of emails and photos going back and forth. Stay well clear.
I ordered $200 leggings twice and they keep sending me the wrong item! I tried to get a resolution but you can't get anyone on the phone. DO NOT shop here - try another luxury site like matchesfashion.com or netaporter.com!

Do not use this company…ordered a shirt which was large….spent the last 3 months trying to exchange it for a medium but met nothing but resistance and excuses despite returning it by recorded delivery within days.
I don't believe they have any after sales service just someone behind a keyboard who just confirms how unhelpful the company is!

Disgusting service, think very hard about buying any item you have not tried on first as they are full of excuses as to why you cannot exchange or return it.

So angry, I just went to purchase two pairs of shoes for my bridesmaids on Farfetch. 2 days later I get an email saying they want photocopies of my drivers licence/passport and credit card! I'm sorry, but in this day and age, go and get Verified by Visa. Seriously, I have a mind to contact friends I know in the legal industry who work around data protection. Their explanation of what they do with my data (oh I think our finance team destroy it) afterwards is not satisfactory. There is NO way I am sharing my passport details with you, this has got to be a scam. How can you run a legitimate online business without the proper tools to do so, and not warn your customers this is a policy at the time of purchase? Will not be using again.

Terrible, convoluted returns process. I lost $1,000 because Dhl did not show up and ff was not organized enough to help me reschedule within the five day window. Atrocious lack of professionalism dealing with my issue. I was promised a credit with the boutique that never materialized. I will not shop here again. Try netaporter or yoox for designer clothing.
Would give zero stars if possible. Worst customer service experience of my life. Size was incorrectly given in Italian on their website and they refuse to refund me $50 in shipping costs. Or at least I think they refuse because they just STOPPED responding to my emails and the return is due tomorrow. Had to turn the dispute over to my credit card company. Can't believe these people can stay in business operating like this.
I have been using Farfetch for a while. On my third order, I have ordered 2 sunglasses as well as some other products together.
Sunglasses shipped from sunglasshut, and in the app it's been indicated that they will be shipped together. Once I receive the package, there was only one.
I simply file a report, call the customer service by hoping this as a simple and honest mistake that will be compensated quickly. It did not! A few days later, I received an email they can't return because the 'partner' confirmed that they delivered both products.
This is quite literally stealing. I don't see anything else here. The biggies nonsense I have experienced in online shopping so far.
I will be following my legal rights, be away from them!
A week ago, I placed an order for a pair of Alexander Wang shoes $475. The item was being advertised as "IN STOCK" and my credit card was charged immediately. Almost a week after, I received an email saying sorry out of stock. Now I am being told it will take another "few days" for the money to be refunded to my credit card. Obviously the company is holding my money for their own use. They sure didn't waste any time charging me, but can't seem to process the refund in the same manner. I won't trust them again. If I don't get a refund soon, I'll report them to Amex as theft. Just look at all the bad reviews!

Was desperately looking for a Zimmerman dress and thought farfetch/outnet would have some nice deals….turns out they are complete scammers who inflate the normal price of things and when marked on sale, you might end up paying even more than original.
Just few examples…the " Cosmic floral-print tiered dress" is at 1250 on the Zimmerman website vs 2302 on Farfetch! Or the "silk wrap midi dress" is on 595 on Zimm vs 936 on farfetch….like they BS you saying that the pricing it s decided upon xyz criteria but at the end of the day you pay SO MUCH more for the same thing. I would never ever recommend buying from this website
I have bought a lot of expensive items via Farfetch and always had good experience. That was only until they had to take responsibility though.
In short I bought several identical t-shirts in different colors only a few months ago and one of them has an obvious manufacturing flaw which got a lot worse the first time I used and washed it. After a lot of (stupid and unnescessary) questions which I answered the initial response was I could get 10% off a new shirt. What a joke! Afterwards they closed the case due to them deciding it was wear and tear = no refund or new shirt.
So yes! The customer service and taking responsibility when not making money is indeed VERY FAR FETCHED! Shame on you.
My best advice is to do your shopping else where!
So I didn't consider the fact that Farfetch deletes bad reviews off their website and made the mistake of verifying on their site that they're legit - they're not. My order was supposed to come April 1 - 3. By the third, the tracking on their site shows it did not even ship yet. Okay. So I call their customer service at least five times from then to now. "I'm not sure what's going on, we'll look into it and get back to you" is the usual answer (hint: you will not hear back until you contact them again). I call yesterday and the guy says he doesn't know what's going on but will refund my the shipping costs because I've been patient. Funny enough, I get an email tonight saying but order has been sold to someone else and is now sold out. Um WHAT. Who knew I was taking part in a bidding instead of simply buying a product. Anyways, moral of the story is never buy from Farfetch if you value your time and a quick delivery.
I asked for a help though customer support. What I've got as a reply was a copy-paste standard answer which did not help at all. When I called this out and told that I would rather talk to someone real instead of getting a generic answer which you can also find on FAQ - they have just sent another generic reply. It almost felt like - are they doing this on purpose to piss off their clients?! I'm not sure but overall terrible customer experience.
My worst online shopping experience ever. Read through the posts here. Take heed. These guys do not know how to run an online shop. Mistakes from when I made a purchase, all the way to double-charging me with import duties, which took forever to refund. Customer service (if that name even does justice) are helpless, aloof and even arrogant. Worst experience ever. I would not even give this 1 star.
