The company has garnered a mixed reputation, with some customers appreciating the affordability and variety of services available, as well as the potential for building long-term relationships with freelancers. However, significant concerns dominate the feedback, particularly regarding delayed payments, unresponsive customer support, and a perceived lack of accountability for both sellers and buyers. Many users express frustration over unresolved disputes and the platform's failure to ensure transparency and quality among its freelancers. This highlights a critical need for improved customer service and stricter oversight to enhance user trust and satisfaction.

Good work / nice work highly recommended good experience he man a good person i recommended my all friends thanks
This was my first experience with you, i think you are the best in your work. I'm satisfied with your work. Good behaviour nice work.
I have been using Fiverr to get voiceovers and such and then I got a job where I needed some 3D work done. I found a seller with a job profile that matched the style I wanted, we talked he said he can do it then he gave me the complete opposite of what I asked. I asked for a refund and unfortunately Fiverr took his side, even if it is blatant that the work did not match what I wanted, plus when I wrote a bad review on the seller, Fiverr deleted it. Watch out
Ps. you can see the job description below and the items he gave me, you be the judge.
The bottom line, I paid $52 for nothing. After ten days and a dozen messages with the book cover provider, she gave me nothing! This person who lives in India, i_nishadutta sent me messages to one email account and when I tried to follow the link, all I got was an advertisement. She persisted in sending messages to that account even when I told her it didn't work. I asked her to simply send the jpg of the front cover to my correct email account and she refused. She told me to access my fiverr account in which I had placed the order. I doesn't exist, since fiverr is impossible to navigate! Worst, when I tried to complaint, using fiverr's own "complaint resolution" or "help" services, I could not find them. I believe they don't exist. Fiverr sucks! Don't waste your money.
Excellent app for freelancer. A wide range of skilled people, from affordables to high quality professionals all sorts of projects. I salute the makers. Thank you for helping towards my creative ideas coming true. While supporting young up and comers and industry professionals sustain careers in their given fileds of expertise.
The title says it all.
The Fiverr "Customer service" team disabled my account permanently due to supposedly multiple accounts.
My account is 3 years old with countless positive reviews and a "Vip" badge that is only available for exclusive people with extra credibility.
I e-mail them back saying, that I'm unsure whether I do have other accounts.
I then received an e-mail back saying that my submission is under review.
Next thing, I get an automated bull$#*! reply from another Customer Support member, which was on the same e-mail from the start.
10 out of $#*!ing 10 for being able to press ctrl+c and then ctrl+v
I wouldn't be surprised if they hired Fiverr sellers as their "Professional customer support"
The company simply does not care about user experience, only what they can gain out of them.
Never support this company.
Hired for a logo design. Every single "concept" provided to me was an exact copy from either an inspiration photo I provided or from elsewhere online (thank you, Google Image Search). I don't care what country you live in, or what language you speak. I DO care that you feel taking someone's work and passing it off as your own is acceptable. Absolutely not recommended.
In a nutshell They are thieves! Seller produced lousy work and revisions were worse, resolution request was obviously going to go in favour of the seller as they have a financial interest in them after seller refused cancellation.
Fiverr were only interested in supporting the seller and his artistic opinions, even admitting to me they are not qualified in music or producing. The seller butchered a beautiful song which I was to cover. Fiverr refused to get my hard worked for money back, £361 to be precise.
In my opinion I would stay clear of fiverr when you run in to creative problems with a Narcissistic seller, fiverr has their back all the way. You don't have a say when it all goes south and their interest in making their money through the seller far exceeds your customer rights. You'll end up exhausted, depressed and going around in circles until you buckle. In essence. You've lost your money and have no choice but to accept it!
Give them a miss. Stay clear of Fiverr.
You all are lucky I read the Review guidelines. Since kids and adults can read, I'll give you all ONE word for this app. TRASH!
Exceptionally awful seller policy. An astonishing amount of inconsiderate buyers who can freely get a refund while the seller gets nothing for their work if a cancellation is requested - ranging from reason as "I placed the order on accident" to crude insults.
One or two cancellations can run your gig analytics down into the ground even if you have 200+ great ratings and the platform doesn't allow you to pay to promote your gig if it's not in the Top 10 in the category which makes zero sense.
Most of them are agents or third parties. They do not know nothing about work, (IT). These people should not be allowed to open accounts on Fiverr. They charge more for the service, cannot do the task properly.
This is my order id FO818D1FACFC4 and best part is active conversation is going on from one week and fiver people dont even care... first person will add someone else in loop and then we have to explain same thing again... then again they add someone in loop and then again we have to tell our problem. Till date 5-6 people have been added and still no resolution... they are harresing me and giving me mental stress... i asked them for refund but they're not even giving me refund... someone please help me
I recommend that you stay away from this company as they just want there commission and have a sub standard customer service.
I'm very angry with there customer support, the seller put bad spam/porn links on both my websites and he was asked to clear it of, unfortunately he didn't remove them all as requested and fiverr customer customer support cancelled the job before the bad links had been removed, they don't even give the option to leave a review for this seller. Now I have to pay someone else to clear the mess, I will never work with FIVERR Company again, I have spent allot of moneywith this companyThis year and they couldn'thelp resolve issues I had with this seller,
Im writing this bad experience to raise people's awareness of this company.
I ADVISE YOU TO STAY AWAY.
*Edit- I was able to get my money refunded and put back into my paypal account; for this, I improved the rating. * I picked an artist based on the image he had with his profile that demonstrated his level of expertise/work. What he offered after I paid was not even close; I requested to cancel the order and get a refund. He begged me to give him a chance to make it right. I really did not want to continue but I acquiesced and gave him a chance. I was right he still tried to beg me but eventually agreed to cancel my order. There are no features on the website show me how to get to my money or communicate with anyone. Links don't seem to work. The email I received from Fiverr did have instruction i was able to follow and received my refund within just hours of requesting.
I have told sellers that their flyer designs have not met my vision. I have told them how to improve their result. I don't know if theyre doing anything to improve flyers and redeliver. I am unable to get a message through to fiverr " help " section - it keeps messaging " delivery has failed ". I cannot use the flyers i paid for in my business as they are without changes.
Fiverr customer service was terrible to work with, they basically said there's nothing they can do even though I provided enough evidence and proofs of messages sent through their website about the scam. Never pay a seller in advance, fiverr will choose whether or not to refund you, in this case they didn't because it was such an expensive order they pulled up random policies as an excuse not to refund me that much money. I hate to be negative but I would not trust this company with your hard earned money, they won't help you at all.
I've been doing audio work for years and decided to give Fiverr a try. I actually made money, about $2500 over 3 or 4 months, so I'm not someone who's bitter because I couldn't be successful at it. Here's the problem: if someone chooses you for a job you HAVE to accept it. You might offer a job of recording 100 words for $5. If they send you 1,000 words wanting the $5 rate and you refuse to do it Fiver will penalize you for not completing the job. I had one buyer who accidentally booked a job from me and Fiverr refused to refund their money. I refunded it out of my own pocket to avoid them having a negative experience. Fiverr sent me a letter threatening to cancel my account. I saved them the trouble and cancelled it myself. Fortunately, my business is doing well and I don't need Fiverr. I was offering an incredible deal to their customers for experienced audio work but have no desire or need to deal with the unreasonable policies Fiverr imposes on their suppliers. You may find some good producers on Fiverr but chances are they won't stick around long.
I am writing as a seller. My overall experience with this site has been awful, and if I wasn't desperate for money I would quit using it immediately. They keep a relatively large portion of a creators' sales, which sucks because we already usually work for way less that minimum wage. They force you to show content on your profile so if someone purchases a service requiring you to make something weird or gross you either lose seller rating by canceling or are forced to display it for the world to see. They monitor every conversation and frequently go through your private conversations without any prior warning. If a buyer cancels when you're almost done, even if you sent them the work in partial, they get a full refund and you've now put in hours working for nothing. They don't care about their sellers, they're taking advantage of artists and people with talent who need any money they can get.
A buyer cancelled his order on my service when I already delivered 100% of my service (and this is hundreds of dollars social media service). His payment's on my pending clearance state. But it still gets cancelled by Fiverr. Imagine delivering something worth hundreds of dollars only for it to not be paid.
I can't even describe with a proper word on how ridiculous and dumb Fiverr is on imposing their rules. Fiverr NEVER even questioned me anything about the buyer's complaint (Buyer claimed that I never delivered my service which is crazy: scammer). Fiverr straight up cancelled the payment without asking for clarification from the other side of the issue. Like is that even professional?
What's worse is when I tried reporting this issue, I never heard back from Fiverr, not to mention how difficult it is to actually find their customer support, I found it from going through the community forum. That's an effing joke. Fiverr also charges 20% of my income for their supposedly "middleman/platform" service. Jokes on YOU FIVERR, charging 20% for doing f*ck all? For making it easier for scammers to actually scam people out?
DON'T EVER USE FIVERR! I'm trying not to be biased, I'm throwing out all the facts, what I've experienced. If you were in my shoes, I bet you you would be much more mad than I am right now.
What a joke of a company.
GOOD WORK SIR THANKS
EXCELLENT I'M PROUD OF YOUR SIR YOUR ARE GRATE
Good job sir very good work sir.
Answer: I used Fiverr for my company logo. The guy lives in Vietnam and speak minimal English. I paid for an upgraded package with an unlimited amount of revisions, 3 original logos, stationary and Facebook as well as Twitter page covers. What does unlimited mean if a revision takes 24 hours and each revision is correcting spelling mistakes or telling him you don't want a green dog in your logo, I want a natural looking dog. His response is "you choose font and gives you a pale old lady stockings colour dog" instead of a white Dalmatian with black dots or a brown German Shepard. In the end I used an online translator to translate my requests from English to Vietnamese. He told me to sketch something and he'd make something. If I could sketch something then I would do my own logo. The one logo that I liked was the one I gave him all my ideas for. All he did was put it together in the right format. I was so frustrated with his other two attempts that I said ok give me the first logo with stationary and everything I've paid for. I got the most basic design, no stationary or headers. Did I go through customer service? OF COURSE! Throughout this whole ordeal. I described every little detail. Each time a different person would reply and say "I can understand your frustration and I will contact him". Only to have him return with the same dog in orange or turquoise and every time customer service would spit out the same line "I can understand your frustration and I will contact him. We see he is responding to you within 24 hours so for us that means you are trying to work things out. I want my money back! Sorry we can't give you your money back. The seller has received his money and its up to him to give you any money back if he so chooses. It was a dreadful experience. I ended up using an online logo maker and I loved it. PLUS it actually cost less. I'm now doing my own website. If you have the patience then try to do it yourself. Do NOT skimp on your website. The way the world is run today you want your website and all social media presence to correctly reflect your quality. If at the end I'm not happy with my website I will go to a professional and pay what it costs. Hope this helped and good luck
Answer: I know I have to wade through a lot of questionable sellers to get a good one. Happy hunting. There are good ones out there though.
Answer: All I can say id Fiverr is the BIGGEST SCAM going. Had to dispute the charges through my bank to get the money back
Answer: Stay far away from fiverr. I paid a guy to do some work and proved with third party techniques they used bots for fake views to my site. Yet this guy had many many great reviews. You cannot trust this site whatsoever. Stick with paypal as you most likely will get nowhere with fiverr.
Answer: If you want a site designed to steal credit card data from hard-working, civilized people, please use Fiverr. It is designed for one thing: to take your credit card data and leave you to deal with a mess. More details, reply or search for my previous posts.
Answer: I can only imagine you got swindled and feel bad about the fact you trusted someone. Don't feel bad, you did nothing wrong. There are sites who take the time to vet their sellers and then there are sites like Fiverr who let's anyone to join with zero check on their credentials. The entry into selling on Fiverr is so easy that it borders on ridiculousness. Anyone can lie about their location, experience, education, and just about any credentials. Some of them are really clever and mask their fake profile pictures and gig descriptions really well. Fiverr is so secretive about their vetting process, which I seriously doubt there is anything in writing, that you can't trust it. The seller's level is a joke - I've gotten cheated by ones with thousands of reviews. How they received literally a thousand or more review is mind boggling. Go back and check again, you'll notice like 99.9% of the million or so sellers all have 5 star reviews. All legitimate businesses have a combination of good and bad reviews, most average around 3/5 or if they are a really great business 4/5 but for a large company with like a million or so freelancers with zero credentials having 5/5 pretty much tells you there is something wrong. Like I said, you did nothing wrong. I hope you didn't lose too much money. Their philosophy is "We don't care how crappy the delivery was as long as the seller delivered you don't get your money back."
Answer: The answer is plain simple NO! You will get your followers, yes! But they are all bots, so you will lose 90% of the followers the same week, might as well throw this 5 bucks in the air.
Answer: There is very little in the world that is unique. You have to trust or spend a lot more $$$ or do it yourself
Answer: I would suggest having nothing whatsoever to do with Fiverr. When things go wrong - and that happens a LOT - there is no customer support line to call. They make it very difficult (in my own case, impossible) to resolve any problems. Read the evaluation reviews- they are extremely negative. My advice: find another site on which to offer your services. DG
Answer: I've had 28 orders and all but two were very satisfactory. Most were PDFform building or business card templates, but I had s few design logos for me then used the one I liked. Buyers: it's cheap. Remember that. When the service is good I tip generously then use the same person. I get great service, often in one day. When I order, I add express service and have yet to be disappointed. It's a business model without customer service. Face it. If you want customer service, go to Nordstroms or Nieman Marcus. Do a better job selecting your service provider; be clear in the order, and overpay.
