I ordered flowers for an important birthday. They canceled the order without trying to call me. The payment cleared my bank. They refunded. I find this out on the eve of the birthday. Too late to get the order reinstated and I don't even want to. The employees speak such horridly accented English I can't even understand them, then they talk so fast and won't slow down. I have no idea why the order was cancelled. The email did not say what the problem was. I was so furious because I really wanted the item I ordered. So they ruined a benchmark birthday. I won't call them again and I will repost this story on every review site I can find.
Find someone else to trust with your flower deliveries! Delivered Late, delivered something other than what was ordered. Sent email 30hours after delivery was made to say they "could not deliver what was ordered, pick something else"!
If I could give a negative review I would - I ordered a floral arrange for funeral for an employees parent 3 days before the event. I did not find out until 2 weeks after that the arrangement was cancelled and never delivered. I contacted FTD and got "I am so sorry" but we did try to contact you via email after the event to let you know). I did not receive any email notifications from FTD that they were cancelling this order and when asked why they did not call they simply stated that they sent an email. They then tried to tell me that they could not find a florist to do this because it was to close to Christmas. Then she tried to tell be that the closet florist was over 100 miles away (in a large city). Now our company looks terrible for not acknowledging a long time valued employees loss and all I got for it was "I'm sorry". DO NOT DO BUSINESS with this oversized and overpriced company that will not follow through on what you need.
I received flowers and the weather was 10 degree. They were set outside on my deck for about 5 hours. They were not in good condition. I called and wanted them to reimburse the person who sent them. They said they could not without the giver calling. She is an older lady and I did not want to make her do it and did not want her to know they were not good. I know they must have her credit card information so didn't think it would be that hard to do. Very disappointed.
Wish there was a 0 stars. I ordered two dozen red roses for my wife for Valentine's Day. She sent me a text and said, "Babe, I love this thought, but... then proceeded to snap photos and text me and continued saying, "Yep, these are all bad; most of the petals are already falling off - it says they are from Colombia or Ecuador."
I tried calling FTD, but there was no answer, I had to leave a message. I wish I had checked for reviews before choosing this.
I'm so disappointed the most significant day to send flowers to my loved one, and FTD bombed. Now, to try to collect a refund. What crap!
Do Not Order from FTD!
I learned a lesson: go to a local flower store and "buy local." See what you are getting - hand them to your wife directly, not ship them, and leave them on the front door in an ugly box!
Placed order for valentine delivery 1/23/23, plenty of time. Flowers have still not been delivered, today is 2/15/24. All customer service can say is "I'm sorry". NEVER, NEVER, NEVER use this service. You will be extremely disappointed, frustrated and disgusted. I'd give them less than a 1 rating if applicable.
Ordered 24 red roses in red vase lots of money for Valentine's Day. Got some dead looking rainbow flowers in a clear vase. Quality sucked so disappointed with this company. Strongly suggest use a different company. So many other options that give you what you actually pay for.
First time using them and probably the last. Support is horrible, they don't listen, argue and a bad connection a top of that. The site is even worse. Says you can update the order but then does not provide any ability to do so, their chat never connects, tried and home and work. Just an all around bad experience. Haven't even received the flowers yet so will update to see if they at least get that right.
They didn't deliver the flowers that I purchased on their website to my friends funeral.

I send flowers to my wife all the time and I've had enough with FTD.com constantly disappointing me. 4 out of the last 5 times she received flowers that wasn't even close to what I ordered. And calling to complain gets you nowhere. I work hard for my money and expect to get what I pay for. Apparently the florist they use really don't care what they send out. I won't be doing business with them any longer.
I am:
- Retired Air Force.
- Mother is 78.
- This attempted transaction was intended to celebrate her birthday.
7 times I attempted to purchase flowers today and the following results occurred:
- card was declined and a suspicion of fraud hold was enacted x1
- FTD would not accept my card. X4
- FTD asserted that billing & shipping addresses were required to be the same x2
This was not an insufficient funds or a bank error--I spoke w/them and they identified the problem as FTD.
The unnecessary website malfunctions are a direct reason, why flowers will not be delivered today.
The grand total time wasted was apx 66 minutes.
I've have bought flowers from FTD previously and never had problems, however this will be my final interaction w/the business.
For future customers, I strongly recommend, www.teleflora.com, I purchased my flowers in under 3 minutes.
I ordered flowers to be delivered on St. Valentine's day and they never arrived. I called customer service and was told that they would re-deliver not the next day but two days past Valentine's Day. Since the weather was going to turn very cold in the evening and the recipient wouldn't be home in the evening, I asked them to be delivered between 9:am and noon and was told they would make every effort to do so. It's now 4 pm and there has been no delivery of flowers and it's going to begin snowing in a few hours. All they do is apologize and that doesn't change anything. They cannot be held accountable unless people stop using the service which I recommend.
A day late and a dollar short. So to speak. The roses were supposed to arrive on 02/11/21 for my daughter's. They came after dinner the next day. They looked like a child put them together and had damage because they sat in a truck frozen for 3 days. The flowers won't come from your local florist. Ours came from Kentucky. We live in Pennsylvania. The card that comes with it is a piece of paper folded multiple times and typed about the same size as the font that you are reading now. Baby's breath doesn't come with the arrangement either. If I compared Walmart flowers to these. I would buy from Walmart all day long. What a disappointment to say the least. My poor girls. So embarrassed. Lesson learned. Never again.
Order Flowers for my Wife's Birthday. They were finally Delivered, came way late and the Birthday celebration was over. Also to top it off the arrangement was missing a Rose.

FTD takes your money first, promises a delivery date & then figures out whether they will deliver your flowers whenever they feel like it. Or not at all, and then they don't tell you until days later! They are horrible; use any other company.
Paid for same day delivery. Never delivered. Would have just kept my $110 if I had not contacted customer service again and again. Still have not received a refund. Total joke business who will take your money and not do a thing to actually fulfill their order/obligations.
My dear girlfriend was struggling getting back into school as a teacher while dealing with the gloomy, cool weather (she's a summer girl), so I thought I'd scrape up the few bucks I had to send a beautiful bouquet to her school. The first photo is what I ordered, the pile of crap in the second is what was delivered. Basically, it turned a sweet and loving gesture into utter embarrassment for her. The rep from Eflowers, who sounded like a 19 year old boy, had no empathy (of course) and attempted to set up a time for the company to pick up the flowers from her work so they could refund my money, which would of course meant further embarrassment. You would think the pictures I sent would be good enough. This happened over a year ago and every time I've thought about leaving a review, I was too busy. But this should tell you how much I despise this company that I'm still upset enough to complain over a year later!
I ordered based on a beautiful photo on the website of a flower-filled basket. My friend received a basket with very few, and very unhealthy, flowers. I am embarrassed! Immediately called FTD and was told a replacement would be sent. Three hours later and I have not heard. Visiting hours at the funeral home are over now. Called FTD and they had no info but told me not to worry - tomorrow flowers should arrive.
Rather than connect me with a manager, I was put on hold. Twenty minutes later no one has answered. Last time I will order from FTD
The recipient of my floral order never received them even though the delivery was confirmed. They must have been delivered to the wrong address. There is no telephone number provided for customer service so you can't speak to anyone. Meanwhile they respond by email when they get around to it. I'm on day two of getting no help and they charged my credit card for flowers never received.
Delivered a day late but my mother in law loved it anyway!
They offered a $10 refund for delay.
I was not thrilled but she was~so overall they get 5 stars.
