Scammers
January 28, 2024

Third party seller i bought from was a complete scammer. Sold me keys that were immediately activated by ANOTHER steam account. After confirming with Steam Support, I provided copies of correspondence confirming keys were activated by a DIFFERENT account to G2A and the seller.

After 2 weeks or pulling my chain they just denied my return claim. I'll NEVER use G2A again. Scammers & Losers.

I read a lot of bad reviews on here that really surprised me. I have had no issues using the site. I tend to stick to sellers with good ratings however. I'd recommend it it's cheap.

Unauthorized Charges.
October 23, 2023

I've been using G2A for quite some time now and I haven't had a problem with game keys or getting the wrong product. The problem I have is after you put in your CC information or PayPal, you'll start to notice unauthorized charges after a certain amount of time through PayPal or your credit card. I noticed this when I first starting using the website but I was ignorant and didn't think it was g2a. The first time it happened it seemed they were bold, trying to charge $200-$400 for some random nonsense. Now they're trying to charge me monthly subscriptions for "Canva" something I don't even use and I'm assuming it's to sell on g2a. STAY AWAY, even if they don't charge you right away, they will eventually.

DO NOT USE THIS SITE!
February 27, 2023

G2a used to be good, but now it's filled with scammers. G2a is happy to take their cut and will NOT help the customer in any way. They literally ALLOW people to scam you and they offer no support at all. Even when it's obvious the scammers are breaking the law.

NEVER USE THIS SITE! EVER!

Got scammed when i bought a game, as the key i got were already used by someone else.
I went through the prosess of getting the requested documentations needed to get the "guaranteed money back" but they still don't help. The seller sendt another used key, and after that nothing have happened.
It have now gone about a month and a half since i bought the game.

G2A is scamming their customers
December 18, 2022

There have been many instances of sellers selling steam accounts instead of the steam key, one of the more well know scammers on the site is Plyxa_games. Instead of selling you the steam key, they provide you with an account for you to login with. The issue with this is you sont have access to email and could still lose this account in the future. And account selling is also against Steam's TOS.

Robbers.
February 19, 2019

I spent $44 on a code for a game. I received an invalid code. I contacted the customer service and they gave me the run around for 20 days before they told me to contact the police to get a refund. I would avoid anything to do with G2A if at all possible. IT IS NOT A SAFE MARKET

I've bought a code for Forza Horizon 5 Premium Edition through them from a seller who sent me a code which was not for the country I was buying it for (USA) and I couldn't redeem it. After I raised a ticket and seller ignored me, G2A said the only way I can get my money back (even though they guarantee money return) is by reporting seller to the police and delivering them the evidence, even though they already had all the evidences I've been given the wrong code (which they could've tried out themselves too), they were unwilling to refund. I can't report seller to the police as it's below 100$ and he's from a different country. I lost 60$ in the process.

You have to be really careful as the default purchase options tie you into their G2A plus plan, and they'll just debit your payment method without you knowing. They also won't provide a refund!

BEWARE: DON'T BUY HERE
November 25, 2022

I've bought a Amazon 100 dollar gift card. Which I've received right away. Went to redeem the code which didnt work. A message popped up telling me it was already activated. So I went back to the seller who didn't respond untill 2 days later asking me for screens. I have sended what was asked for. After that no response. Went looking a the sellers rating which went to 99 procent it had like 14 negative reactions most with the same thing as, all of them recieved already used products. Few hours later looked again now the rating is 100 procent and all our ratings removed. Only if you go look further you'll find 184 bad reviews on the seller dating back till September 2021. Seller being able to remove ratings and raising back the percentage is crazy. The way G2A looks make it look like it's safe and legit. But this way it seems like they covering and helping out the scammers. Hope I'll get a refund or a working product. Kinda crazy shouldve googled first

I havent had many transactions on g2a.com. I have purchased 2 games on the site; Black ops 3 (34.95 USD) and CoD Ghosts (7.93 USD). I have had a 100 percent success rate.

You can, however, believe some of the horror stories online about invalid keys and the terrible refund process. I have had close friends use the site and receive those invalid keys only to be told by G2A that the key was legitimate and unused. Even purchasing g2a shield will not guarantee a refund. Luckily, my friends used paypal who quickly refunded their money after confirming with Steam that the code had previously been used or is not valid.
One thing I can suggest is taking screenshots of you transaction. When your key first comes onto the screen, take a screenshot. When you are entering the key into the gaming platform (steam/origin/psn etc) and before confirming, take a screenshot. After confirming, take a screenshot of whether or not the key was accepted or rejected. This will help you to confirm that you entered the key exactly as it was given to you. If something does go wrong, you can submit these screenshots as evidence.

Overall I have had a good experience with g2a. Unfortunately your mileage may vary.

Been using G2A a long time now and I prefer buying my games on G2A with 10% off G2A discount code "Z123". G2A is useful especially when I have to goto work and I want to look up a price on here. The only thing I wish g2a had was a Wish List Feature. Also, I think it will be better to add game screenshots and gameplay video and trailer.

Their adverts say they offer a 30 day money back guarantee. THAT IS A TOTAL LIE.
When I asked for my money back their customer replied... HAVE A NICE DAY ****.
They are a foul mouthed disgrace and will NEVER REFUND YOU FOR ANYTHING SELL. Despite it never being as advertised.
Do not buy from G2a... EVER.

Avoid Siastore on G2A. It's a scam!
December 31, 2022

I bought a Global Steam Code for Forza 4 on G2A from a seller Siastore. Rather than a code I received an url to a Chinese website with a temporary login and password. I was supposed to log in to this account to generate a Steam code but I would have to log in to the Steam account provided in the message to make it work. I have never seen more dodgy method. G2A Refund policy states that you can get the money back only with if the seller agrees which obviously not going to happen. I will never use G2A again.

I paid for several games and now some got removed due to payment issues with steam. I paid fully and the seller used a stolen credit card to buy the code and then sell to me. After i got the code for a few days the original credit card desputed the charges and steam removed my game. I wad unable to get a refund.
