We are a winery and have used GLS multiple times. Most of the service experiences have been horrible! Worst experience was when a pallet of wine (56 cases) was delivered a week late with 5 wine cases missing from the pallet. During the week they had this pallet of wine, they did NOT keep it in a temperature controlled environment while outside temperatures were in the 90s. It took multiple phone calls, with hours on hold, to finally get that pallet of wine delivered!
Second most horrible experience was when live grapevines were shipped with them to our vineyard. A two hour distance between cities ended up being a delivery time of a 28 hour delivery when temperatures were triple digits. They would not have delivered in that time frame had I not threatened them with a lawsuit claim.
Third worst situation with GLS was today when a pallet of wine was to be delivered to the tasting room. Well, at 2:30 pm I called to see when the pallet was to arrive. I was told there were two other locations to go before they would deliver to us and the expected time at our location was to be around 4:30-5:30 pm time frame. Waited and waited. Finally by 5:30 pm, I called to see where the driver was who was supposed to deliver the pallet of wine. No response and on hold for at least 25 minutes. No one was available to help and phone switched to leave a message. Another attempt…same situation. No pallet arrived today AND not a single call from GLS! Will it be delivered tomorrow? I have no idea! No communication from GLS. Zero!
I signed up for a meal kit delivery, and the company uses GLS for some reason. I'm a new customer, and each delivery has been delayed by a day. This is perishable food, that I see on their website... they receive the morning it's supposed to be delivered. Yet it sits "en route" less than 25 miles from me all day and night. I'm hoping I get yesterday's delivery before noon today, unlike last week.
I have to use this service because my meal kit company picked them. They've reported my complaint last week and today. Hopefully they'll drop them.
* edit -- as of this writing, Sunday, 6/19 I have still not received my perishable food box. I have cancelled my subscription with the service and they know it's 100% due to GLS. GLS SUCKS and should be ashamed of themselves (considering all these similar reviews). They have had my order since 5am 6/17. It's been sitting in their warehouse or their vans for over 48 hours. If I do even get it, it now has to go straight to the trash.
Ordered a package from Olive and June. Package was shipped from less than 50 miles from my house and GLS lost it. Customer service is pretty much non-existant. In the future I won't be ordering from any site that uses GLS
Delivery rescheduled 3 times? Weather is not an issue so I cannot see a reason for a rescheduling 3 times. Today the tracker shows "DELIVERY NOT ATTEMPTED"? Why not? The package is moving from my local distribution center back to the origin? STILL waiting for my package that was supposed to be delivered 3 days ago! AWFUL TRACKING AWFUL SERVICE
I ordered a super expensive item which then got shipped through dhl. If i had known before hand that would hand it off to this third party trash I would've never ordered from them. This company apparently "lost" my package THE DAY IT GOT THERE. I have read other reviews and would highly highly advise anyone who knows their package will go through this company please try and find a different way to obtain that item.
They have the worst delivery service i have EVER seen, they keep not delivering my package because my apartments gate is closed and there is no gate code. I called and waited 15 mins to speak with someone who has thee WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE she provided no help and no solutions she just kept stating the obvious. I asked if I can pick up my package and she sent me a address that is 40 mins away from my house! Tried to reschedule my delivery for today and she said "he already came there today" so then I said well as soon as possible then she then proceeds to say "so what day do you want to schedule the delivery?"? Like are you dumb? Clearly if I can't schedule for today then schedule it for tomorrow so now I have to sit OUTSIDE my apartment tomorrow and hope to catch the delivery driver so I can get my package that I spent MONEY on I will NEVER order from anyone that ships with them ever again.
If you expect your package get delivered on time and not get lost please choose fedex instead.

Had contacted Eurosender to pick up a parcel in Paris. They seem to subcontract GLS (and that already didn't feel good). After receiving a confirmation for the requested pick up day, I asked my Paris contact to be available for handing over the parcel. She stayed home all day and GLS simply sint show up. Their track and trace "service" provides not reason and no alternative day/location. Simply HORRIBLE service!
You will be waiting in your house the full day waiting for them to ring the bell and then you will realise that they say that you were not there in their webpage... not even calling the bell/phone. And if you try to contact the client service, nobody knows anything, phones doesn't exist and you will just keep losing time trying to reach an answer that doesn't exist. Hope they burn in hell.
I don't know how this company is still in business. They "lost" 2 of my packages. Brand new bikes for my toddlers bdays. Tracking kept saying rescheduled on both packages until I contacted them and they said the packages are both "missing". How do you lose 2 large packages? I've read tons of reviews on the same thing. People at this company must be stealing.
Although the address IS correct the driver, probably decided it was incorrect as it was difficult to find. At no time did he attempt to call me to ask where I lived. This is not the first time!
The package was never delivered, neither to my house nor at the remote library where they later said they would drop it.
At first I received a message saying when they were coming home, so I organised to be there, then I received a few hours later another message saying that "due to technical reasons", they could not deliver it.
A few days later I received a message saying my package was available in a library 3 km away from my home. So I went there the next day but it wasn't there. I called the library a few times the following cays but my package had never arrived.
The librarian said it was a frequent problem with GLS (in Brussels at least).
I send a mail to GLS but they never replied.
I sent many emails to the company I had ordered from, but they were unable to do something useful.
And 2 weeks later they told me that my package had been returned (and I got refunded).
It is a shame that such an inept company is still in business.
This is my first time with GLS and they lost my items and made my items late for a week and it's been more then a week and they didn't find my items yet. I don't recommend GLS. There is ups and FedEx is way better
I have a food delivery subscription that uses GLS for shipping. There have been several occasions in which my box was thrown away by GLS because they exceeded the timeline to deliver it to me. When I check tracking notes it shows that the box has been in my town on the date delivery was scheduled and then a few days later it was shipped to another state. By the time it got back to my town the box had to be thrown away. Waste of food and money. Their customer service is terrible and rude.
The worst parcel company to work with, more than 50 parcels have not been delivered in the last 2 years, multiple complaints have been made but still nothing, employees don't care about their work, GLS is paid to ship packages, they should just give up, or companies should stop working with them
GLS doesn't even deserve 1 star! I have called GLS several times (I was hung up on twice but two different customer services reps) and explained that NO ONE is home until 4pm and asked if they could deliver at that time because my husband and I work everyday. They ignored the request and tried to deliver the package 3 times between 9am to 10am. Then I got an email stating that the package was delivered, so I looked up the tracking number and it states that the package was delivered yesterday and sighed for by someone I have NEVER heard of! I have notified the company that I placed the order with, still waiting for a response. I WILL NEVER USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN!
My package went missing and through multiple follow ups, I have been given the runaround and all sorts of excuses (lost, misplace, delayed pickup, etc.). The chat help was absolutely useless and didn't help. The phone help was a waste of time (and wasted your time as well). Lastly and most irritating is the "help" was very rude and disconnected my call. He (Larry) had the nerve to call me back and accused me of disconnecting the call. Their support is USELESS, RUDE and DISHONEST. I WOULD NOT TRUST ANY DELIVERIES MADE BY THEM AND I WOULD NOT DEPEND ON THEIR "HELP" LINE OR CHAT. AGAIN... DO NOT USE!

THIS COMPANY IS PROVIDING A FRAUDULENT SERVICE AND SHOULD BE INVESTIGATED BY THE AUTHORITIES OR CHAMBER OF COMMERCE. They LIE outright to customers. LITERALLY THE WORST DELIVERY SERVICE I HAVE EVER ENCOUNTERED
30 emails and over a month later I still don't have my package. Somebody who wasn't me received it and FORGED my signature. No sign of getting my money back. Just more bull$#*! responses from them. Shocking company. Shocking customer service.
Driver will not call me to open the gate or walk the 10 feet to the office to ask them to open it, since there is no callbox.
Talked to their support and they wont ask the driver to call me or to request the office to open the gate
So I have to go pick up the package
Worthless, if anyone does business with this company, you are out of your mind and i will no longer order from anyone who does.
Answer: Minimum 20 minute wait time via online or by phone. Longest time I waited was 3 hours and still no one picked up
Answer: GLS is the worst logistics company I have dealt with in my 47 years life
