I stayed there a week ago, two of the six mornings there was NO HOT WATER. Wrote the manager and got NO RESPONSE. Never going back. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE
Added on fake fees after I gave credit info. I didn't confirm the reservation but it went through anyway. SCAM!
This is not a good way to do business. The cost was more and the hotel had no Co trip when there were issues with the stay
First time using this service and not familiar with it. Let's see how it goes at the resort visit.
Scam. Advertised €117 and charged 165. You do not notice before payment that it was a scam
Run away
Very easy to book. Though it was unfortunate finding out that there was an additional fee applied afterwards of roughly 60$ on top of a 50$ extra charge for a hold in case of damages, that definitely made me unhappy as service at the hotel was limited to only getting my access to my room and nothing else, no pool, no room service, bad WiFi.
I was surprised with the hidden fees that were not disclosed on the no deal whatsoever! I was promised a credit which I never received. You should fully disclose to customers how much before checking out. Misleading! I paid way less by going to hotel direct!
Do not use this site. They quote one rate then add additional fee's after payment is made. Total Scam, dishonest, rip-off. Stay away... Far Far Away!
Hi Jeff, we are sorry you had this experience. Just like when you book through a hotel directly, Guest Reservations must charge its customers for all applicable taxes, including any hotel taxes. Additionally, by charging a service fee for all of its reservations, we are able to offer 24/7 customer support and operate as an independent travel network. Guest Reservations conspicuously discloses all fees and taxes on its checkout summary webpage, asking customers to check a box acknowledging these before they enter their payment information. Despite our transparency, we remain concerned about your experience. Please provide us your reservation # and the email address used at purchase and we will respond with the next steps. Thank you.
These creeps added $40 to the cost of my $105 hotel stay without disclosing it. Their website looks like you are dealing with the hotel directly.
I called this company thinking that I was calling Hilton. They said while making my reservation that they are the best rate guaranteed. After I realized that I had not called Hilton, I called actual Hilton and confirmed that I actually had a reservation and I asked them to quote me the price for the same hotel room type for the same night. It was $30 cheaper using Hilton. I called guess reservations back and asked if they are supposed to be the best rate guaranteed. The agent said "That's the tagline". So I told her what Hilton quoted me and asked if they would match that price. And she said it's the best price guaranteed for 3rd party companies. I said, " so the answer is no?" She said yes she's sorry but the answer is no. I find this company fraudulent and scammy. They rank highest in the search results for the hotel you're looking for and make you feel that you're contacting your hotel and then the tell you they're giving you the best rate when in actuality they are not. Moral of the story is always make sure you're calling the actual company if the hotel. They will probably have the best rates and you'll get your points. Hilton also price matches and gives you a 25% discount if a 3rd party company beats their price.

CHARGED 14$ more at checkout
I am completely unsatisfied of GuestReservetion.com
They showed first a really low price, then at checkout it increased of 14$ more without even that I could notice it, because the price was written on the side of the webpage.
I will not use this service ever again.
MISLEADING URL
Actually they have a misleading url too, on the url I have read the name of the hostel which I wanted to book, so I even thought I was booking at the hostel´s website.
This site is dishonest. First of all it looks as if you are going on to the site of the hotel you want - I typed in the name, it came up, it invited me to book online and I did. Thinking I was dealing directly directly with the hotel. The price looked similar to others I had seen quoted here in New Zealand. It was only once my payment had gone through did it show that not only was the price I saw in USD (as much again as $NZD) but that $USD99 had been added to the price! So all up I paid double what I was expecting to.
I tried to cancel it immediately once I saw that I was dealing with Guest Reservations site but I could not get through to anyone on the phone. I wrote an email requesting a cancellation and refund but have heard nothing.
This company and their practices are fraudulent - all other booking sites in my experience offer the chance for immediate cancellation and refund if a mistake has been made at the time of booking, and quote their rates in the currency of the country they are operating from.other people - BEWARE OF THEM…..

Charged 3 times the amount quoted. Designed to impersonate the real accommodation provider. No refund.

This outfit populates the first page / top placements on-line thereby creating an impression that you are contacting the actual hotel. The agent acts like they are on-site employees when discussing facilities, room type, etc. I rejected the first price and was met with "let me see if I can apply a discount". The price he quoted the 2nd time was quite reasonable - he was quoting the actual hotel price. I said yes - not only did I get charged by these crooks but by the hotel itself. A transaction fee - okay say 25-30 bucks. The charges by GuestReservations equaled 100% of the nightly room rate.
After numerous failed attempts, I got through to a live person and was given a bunch of junk about "you agreed to".
Dates of Stay August 5 and 6,2021
Hampton Inn - Summersville, WV
2 Night Charge of hotel - $268.21 (includes taxes/breakfast/etc.)
GuestReservations Charges - $394.30
I objected and declined GR's stated charges of the $394.30 asking/stating "why are your rates so high", "that is almost $200.00 per night", "I knew your rates change but wow" I asked him, "have you remodeled the rooms" and other similar verbiage. The agent said let me see if there is a discount/apply a discount.
He quoted what turned out to be the actual room rental rate and I agreed. Then I see both charges on my credit card.

I had asked for a cancellation the same day only minuets from making the reservation and the receptionist said that the company did not refund on cancellations. I was very displeased in the way I had been treated after trying to adjust my reservation. I will never use this your company again.
