Never answer the phone or the mails. They charge me large fees, the rates are more expensive than other pages
You need to be more transparent about the extra charges That is added after the reservation and credit card number is taken. Those extra charges were more than what a regular room was. Same charges were assessed by the hotel.
Especially not allowing cancellations after charges posted. I will not use your service again.
Very easy. Rates are excellent. My Niece is visiting Arizona for the first time and I wanted her to have nice accommodations. She's still young enough to want to look for the cheapest, and, in an Old city like Sedona, cheap can be scary.
I hope She and her friend enjoy their stay at The Ridge.
It was difficult to see details I had interests in on your webpage. Such as: is the pool open and may I use it while staying at your hotel? Is there a cheaper option with a smaller bed for 1 person (don't need a king)? What were the suite options? I'm traveling with others, we want separate bedrooms but could we have shared a suite for cheaper?
I thought I made an online reservation for St.Joseph,Missouri. It was St. Joseph, Muchigan. After my confirmation I realized my mistake I called customer service. I ended up talking to three representatives. They were kind and fabulous! They contacted the hotel in Michigan and they refunded my money and helped me make a reservation for St. Joseph, Missouri. The three gals went 200% above and beyond. I will be making all my resets with guest reservations from now on. But maybe I will do the phone line.
I was scammed by this website. The URL was 'mgmgrandhotelcasino.guestreservations.com' making me think I was directly booking on the website of the MGM Grand Hotel in Las Vegas. Furthermore the price advertised changed after making payment (an extra $140 tax recovery charges and service fees) and the room was not the right one. I was not aware that I was booking on a third party website until I received the confirmation email. I sent a message through their website without result. I called their offshore callcenter only to hear a guy with a strong foreign accent telling me that a refund was NOT possible. The prevailing policy for most chains is still fee-free if canceled 24 or 48 hours before the scheduled arrival. We are talking about almost a thousand dollars.
So this fraudulent website conned me into booking the wrong room for a much higher price than advertised and is NOT willing to refund me.
STAY AWAY from guestreservations.com and check the URL before you are scammed thinking you're booking directly with the hotel while you are on a third party website that will not refund you if anything goes wrong.
This website is outraging! They hide a lot of fees and charges that you'll only find out after booking and they won't let you cancel! BEWARE!
I carefully avoided any booking agent and found (I thought) the Atrium Hotel website to make a reservation directly through the hotel for 3 nights at $106.15/per night, or for a total of $318.45 plus tax which was never shown while booking. Then I found they charged $174.72 for so-called "Tax Recovery Charges and Services" AND the reservation is "Nonrefundable" - shown only in the confirmation email only. What? I called the hotel but they said it was due to the "travel agent" I used and there's not much they can do. Then I called the phone number shown for the charge (shown in my charge card) website. The phone rang, was answered saying "Your waiting time is less than 2 minutes." After 10 minutes, no one answered! I tried again and and again in panic. No one was available. Then, I called my Master Charge company and they handled they somehow nulified the charge and they also said there was a duplicte charge for the same amount they red-flagged and denied the charge. I called Atrium Hotel DFW airport and got hold of three different people, 'front desk clerk' who said she could not even find my reservation, 'the finance manager' who promised to call me back but hasn't done yet after 5 days, and a 'computer specialist' who said "There is no way we can charge anyone on our side (DFW hotel) any more than what we are allowed" but could not figure out why I used a foreign website, which was untrue (I made reservation within US using my university computer!)! I cancelled the reservationa nd communicated with the hotel what I have done. The cancellation charge was indeed the total amount of $493.17. Hey folks, if FBI doesn't investigate this, is there a government agency which crack these guys and girls? I kept all logs and copies of my communication withe hotel. OK, you hotel folks, are you sure you are doing business in the USA?
PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL IN DFW!
My experience was terrible. The property was very unclean. Trash was everywhere outside the business. My accommodation wasn't clean either. My other family members also rented rooms and experienced the same conditions. There is no way any of us would ever consider using your service to get accommodation.
My situation was taken care of by the hotel management & customer relations. It was a small human error & I will be getting a refund. I have no issues with Holiday Inn Express in Alabaster, AL. It was my 3rd visit & I
Will be back to this hotel whenever I travel that way. Great Staff! Its not the refund but to expose how a good stay can be expressed to others so they when they book a room they will have Great Service! From the people who work there!
I searched for my Holiday Inn by name.
When the address was Holiday Inn guest reservations I understood I was dealing directly with the hotel
Then I provided my credit card for the basic fee as I understood it.
After confirming payment I was given a total cost that included a 50% extra charge
This purported to cover taxes and fees.
The result being that my hotel rooms, booked without refund, were significantly higher than Booking.com.
In effect this was a total confidence trick that I fell into.
Holiday Inn Express exceeded our expectations; was very clean and robided an adequate breakfast. Guadalupe our breakfast attendant was particularly attentive to my husband who uses a walker. When we return to visit again, will definitely stay in Emmaus,PA Holiday. Wonders stay. At a great value too.
Just want to let you know it is obvious that guest reservations are scamming people and I hope that they enjoy the extra $217.69 that you made from me. So not happy and could not contact anyone for assistance. Definitely don't recommend using guest reservations ever.
Denise
This company charged me $60 over my reservation rate. Call the hotel instead of booking through this company
Hi LaWanda, we are sorry you had this experience. Just like when you book through a hotel directly, Guest Reservations must charge its customers for all applicable taxes, including any hotel taxes. Additionally, by charging a service fee for all of its reservations, we are able to offer 24/7 customer support and operate as an independent travel network. Guest Reservations conspicuously discloses all fees and taxes on its checkout summary webpage, asking customers to check a box acknowledging these before they enter their payment information. Despite our transparency, we remain concerned about your experience. Please provide us your reservation # and the email address used at purchase and we will respond with the next steps. Thank you.
Not sure why we received this survey, we have reservations for 5/18 have not stayed there yet so can't give you any ratings at this time. Find it strange that you would send a request about the "purchase" before we have been there.
They charged a $64 fee on one night hotel room that cost $119… they don't show you the fee until you've charged your card. Stay away

I googled the name of the hotel I wanted to browse to see how much it would cost for a night. Guest reservations came up at the top before the hotel website but due to the name, it appeared as I was merely directed to the reservations page of the hotel website. I did not see any of the fees populated after I had entered my credit card information but it is usually shown on the next page on other websites before a payment confirmation. It turns out that the costs were strategically placed below the "complete reservation button" and I had already secured the payment. I would not have agreed to the payment if it was more transparent as there was a $100 fee and there was a cancellation policy indicating that you could cancel but would not be reimbursed. I called the hotel and they confirmed that it was through a different 3rd party website but assured me there was free cancellation up to 24 hours in advanced. Because the name of the 3rd party was different than the hotel reported and was very ambiguously titled "guest reservations," it took me some time to figure out the right number to call. However, they sent me a cancellation confirmation. When they did not reimburse me, I filed a dispute claim through my credit card company to which they declined stating that I was purposeful trying to evade their transparent cancellation fees and sent a screen shot of what it supposedly looked like upon check out with the No cancellation fee clearly stated. I called the company directly and they told me that if I had specifically asked prior to the reservation date I could have received a small discount. Their websites FAQ also guarantees a full reimbursement upon cancellation as well. I had reopened the dispute noting that the design of their website has been strategically set up to mislead potential consumers to impulsively make an irreversible costly spend. Ultimately the dispute went in my favor because of how unethical this company is known to be and the info I submitted.

Lied about being affiliated with the hotel, and charged me an extra $100 for service fees. Disgusting.

They said it would cost 82. Ended up being 118! Should have made sure I booked directly at hotel but This ad was on top of course.

Beware! The price listed is NOT the final price charged! You knew full well the final price, which included taxes, but preferred to do a "bait and switch," an unethical, and in some places illegal, strategy to deceive the buyer. I am quite upset about this and will never do business with your organization again.

Answer: I feel your pain. What's sad is that this company is an affiliate of Expedia
Answer: Literally the same. Hope you get reimbursed! Good luck!
