They displayed the product as the 6 packs, and it was actually a single pack! Which is more than target and walmart charges!
Immediately after ordering, i cancelled the order through email and no1 replied and they shipped my order.
They asked me to refused the item, how can i refuse the item when they deliver in the mailbox? I had to undergo hell to deal with it as i paid $50 for the whole order.
The manager and the customer associate were SUPER RUDE! When i called them. They handled the situation WORST!

Placed an order on 4/09/2017 and I didn't get my order until 4/15/2017. The company is located in California. I didn't know it takes two weeks for a package from California to Maryland

My first two orders with Hollar were an amazing experience. They are half the price of what Walmart would be for toys which is surprising for a company based in America. They hand out coupons and store credit like candy and their customer service has always been quick to solve my problems and give me refunds when needed. HOWEVER... I have been extremely bummed out lately that out of the last 8 orders I've placed (probably about 20 items) I've only received maybe 5 items. They say on their website that items are in stock and after I complete my purchases and wait the FULL 7 days for the shipping to take place, they send me emails saying all but 1 item I've ordered are out of stock and can not be shipped to me. When I inquired about this problem they simply just replied "we are a growing company and its important that our customers are happy." Pretty vague and out of context reply if you ask me. What are they doing to fix this issue?!? Probably absolutely nothing because as long as they are making enough sales (which they are definitely making enough sales because who can beat their prices) they don't care to fix this issue that drives everyone insane...

Placed my order in mid April - got a fake silver ring sent in May - after contacting the customer service I was told they just wanted to check if my address is correct - never received the ordered goods - they said they will resend them - now beginning of August I was told goods where delivered in July but I never received anything - not its my fault as I might have given them wrong address LOL - they offered 60% refund of the paid amount, blaiming it on me that I did not get the ordered goods - it's a scam! The whole shopping experience was a waste of time and money!

The customer service rep agreed that all those fees will be more than $5.

Many of the items sold on Hollar are the same items that can be found at the 99Cent Only, Dollar Tree and Family Dollar stores. The more popular items offered are basically surplus merchandise that is out of season or last years craze from stores like Walmart, Target and even Amazon. Resulting in NUMEROUS items from pantry food, toys to household decor that can be found at a fraction of the retail cost. I'm a mother to two little boys and I greatly appreciate that I'm able to splurge on popular toys and games for my kids without feeling guilty about it.

I made a purchase, asked to return and they said ok, Said theyd send a shipping label, I didnt receive, they claimed they cannot resend and I have to go to a fedex location capable to being able to pull it up in their system, which for me is a 70 mile round trip. They failed to inform me that I had to ask them to pull it up, and that I can only do that at certain places. It just shouldnt be this hard.

I placed an order through the Hollar website on 4/4/17 and got a Woo Hoo confirmation email verifying the order was received, then another email from Gino on 4/7 stating, "Hi Heather, Our fraud prevention system flagged your order. In order to protect your account, this order has been canceled and the payment method voided. Please allow 3-5 business days for the transaction to be reversed into your account." When I call the Hollar Support Team to find out if there was an issue with my credit card, I am told it could have been a variety of reasons why the order was flagged and cancelled without even trying to verify anything with me, a customer residing in Detroit, MI. However, none of their excuses are possible except that they have the order coming from Detroit, which they apparently have flagged as a fraudulent city. The representative suggested I might try using another credit card, but there is no issue with the card I used. I've lived in Detroit for over 40 years and never had an order cancelled before because of the order's city of origin. Hollar can holler at somewhere else to make a sale, because they won't ever get a penny from me.

I have recently discovered Hollar. The orders were filled very quickly and shipping took 5 days. The box was sturdy and everything was well packed. Much nicer than I expected for discount site.
1. Have reasonable expectations for shipping. They state 7 to 10 business days (don't count weekends), So plan a full two weeks plus and you may be surprised to find the order arrive sooner.
2. Have resonable expectations for the quality. Many items are cheap dollar store junk, so know that you are taking a gamble.
3. The brand name items I bought looked authentic, new, unopened, good condition. Many were older styles/colors or old packaging.
4, Double check size/quantity. One face cream was a travel or sample size. Compared to the normal full size price it was still a good deal, but not a steal. Dishwashing soap packets were brand name, but only 4 per small pack, so not worth it.
5. Don't trust the "comparison price". Essie nail polish selling for $2 is normally $8. But ELF makeup brushes selling here for $1 showed a false comparison price of $4-6 when it is actually listed on ELF site for $1. This is annoying and makes shopping here slower since I want to google search to check prices.
Overall I am pleased and will be shopping at Hollar in the future.

Months ago, I used to be able to find lots of good deals. Recently, their prices have increased & much of their stock has changed to the junk you can find on ebay.

I placed an order for 5 items. I got an email saying they got my order ( aka, they took my money) I did not hear anything else for over a week. Nothing telling me my order was processed or being shipped, no tracking number. So I waited... then I get an email telling me that 3 out of 5 items I ordered where not in stock. A WEEK LATER! The items ( that I already paid for) were in stock when I ordered them. So how are they not in stock now? Did they sell them to other people even though I already paid for them? Or did they just never have them to begin with even though they were on the site to buy? I don't understand and im very annoyed. I can see maybe one item not being in stock, BUT 3!?!?!?! They said I would be refunded and it would take 3-5 days for my refund to show on my credit card, so we shall see. I will never be ordering from this site again, as they take your money before making sure they actually have the items, that is no way to do business. I don't recommend this site. Buyer beware.
