I scheduled an appointment with the local police department through the Identogo website. I had my prints taken digitally but I have no clue where my digital prints are stored or were sent. Any customer service number is out of order. The Identogo website is useless. I now have to go back and get another set of old-fashioned ink prints done. Do not use Identogo unless you have no other choice. Lousy service.
Setting up an IdentoGO fingerprinting appointment is pretty simple and easy. However, after the fingerprint you're out of luck. I've been waiting over 2 weeks for my fingerprint to be processed. There are no customer service people to help, and there is no information about why the process is taking so long. This is a roadblock that is preventing me from being able to work and it's infuriating that it takes so long and you can't get information about when or if it will be processed.
And not only in that kind of service, but in any kind. From the start in the front desk. An then a young lady came in a rustic way to ask me to follow her. After the treatment was even worse. All this happened in tha facility at 958 S Broadway, Hicksville NY.
These are difficult times, and I've jumped through hoops to try to get my firearms license app completed. Because I'm traveling had to do fingerprints through a card. Customer service walked me through how to do that, and charged me almost $50 to register me. I travelled an hour to get the print card from Identogo itself, and submitted as required. Then I was rejected because they claimed my zip code was restricted!
This was something that doesn't remotely apply to me. Now I can't even get a hold of anybody who will discuss this with me and follow up.
A huge waste of time and money. I feel that this behavior is fraudulent!
I had to send hard cards for a michigan rn license for a job that is remote. I sent the hard cards on 9/21. Rejected but mailed back my application 4 weeks later with vague instructions to resubmit. Resubmitted with new prints taken by a jail employee with a badge number, followed existing protocol. Wait over 3 weeks. Tracking the email code I then find out they were rejected again but no explanation and no notification prior. They do not send back any of my paperwork per policy after 3 weeks of waiting. I call identogo and get tossed around on "customer service" and am told to resubmit hard cards again but with no insight as to why my cards were rejected again when all other state applications of mine were accepted. I asked to speak to supervisor. I'm told that they will forward my inquiry to the supervisor and he will call me. Its been 3 weeks and no phone call. I then just call the criminal background check state police division in Michigan and tell them my situation. They said that identogo never even registered any documents with them and to ask for my money back and to send a letter to Michigan state police directly asking for Michigan state police to read my cards instead of Identogo. Take in mind its December now! Identogo refusing to refund. Never have heard from their supervisor. This is causing the company I work for and patients great harm because of identogo dereliction.

Once upon a time, it was acceptable to get fingerprints from the local police station, which usually cost 5 dollars or so. Then Identogo came along and completely ruined that. The whole point of Identogo, so I have been told, is that now my fingerprints are forever saved in their database! The problem is... they aren't. Or at least it doesn't matter. Making appointments is a hassle (if they keep the appointment), are generally part of a side business run in the corner of a random little strip mall shop, and every new job requires another round of fingerprints, even though they all use Identogo. Basically this company is making money hand over fist to provide fingerprints they already have time and time again.
The interviewer showed up a half hour late. She was not wearing a mask but I had to. I tried to explain that I per paid for the application and her response was " you went to the wrong site". She did not even try to explain or help. She just wanted me to pay again. I said I would not and she told me to leave.
Provided help # is just an entanglement of robo voice redirection. If you happen to finally get to an employee they are quick to transfer you back to the robo system as to not be bothered nor provide any assistance. Wish I could give ZERO Stars!
When setting up service, fingerprinting, as a customer to use this service you must have a code to pay for services; however, when entering candidates background requirements system doesnt ask you for payment code! And is quick to let you leave without paying. How about pay by credit card upon need!?!
I know not everyone are consider themselves as a people person. The man running this business was just down right hateful. He shouldn't be doing a job that involves dealing with other people. I'm sorry if he was having a bad day already at 10 am, but to tell me, "I told you to sit down I'd be with you in a minute" as I approached his office, after being hateful to two young ladies ahead of me. I simply was crossing the room to sit closer to the door. I don't know if a woman has done him wrong or if he just doesn't like white women. I have never felt so unwelcome in a place of business as I did today. He shouldn't have the franchise name of Identtogo.
Answer: To date, given that they took my money, haven't provided the service and won't respond to my queries, it looks suspicious.
Answer: I was forced to. The company I was getting my fingerprints for had no other options. Believe me, they will know how Identogo treats their "customers".

Answer: When I called to report that I was stood up for my appointment, the woman was VERY nice and said they could probably waive the fee for my replacement appointment. Of course, the woman at the office I went to was much more like the other reviews I've read here. Now, what I did to get through and speak to a person was to just randomly pick numbers on their phone tree system until they tell you you've "exceeded the allowable attempts." Then you will be connected to a person. Both times I've spoken with anyone, it took a bit of a minute but not too long. I am in Texas, in case that makes a difference.
