I logged on and made a card. I was prompted to pay for my membership so I did even though I already had a membership. I thought it must have expired. Now I seem to have two memberships: one with my primary email address and one with my PayPal email address. How do I fix that?
I did not use Jibjab and was surprised when I saw that an annual fee had been charged to my account. I had completely forgotten about it and wasn't aware it was an automatic renewal. I emailed my request for a refund and cancellation of the account and had a positive response by the end of the day; no questions asked. That us customer service at its best!
The birthday video I made for my Grandson was sent to his email address, a copy was sent to his mother's email address and one to my husband. The first two didn't play at all. I had to forward my husband's one my email as this was the only way they could see it.
I sent out two Jib Jab cards this week to friends in Brazil from NYC. I had sent cards with 5 people. They were excited... they found a little wierd, however, they were pleasantly surprised. But I found that the variety of serious cards is really not available, for example, just a love card for friends, not necessarily a love interest... there are categories, however, the choice is very limited. Also, the choice to pick how many is not available on group cards...
Lot's of fun creating Christmas JibJabs for several family and friends.
Pretty easy to use, but wish the web site made it easier to edit a creation, like allow you to change face positions. Can do it, but you have to go back with your browser and start over.
Also wish I could send a short message when sending my creation.
The site is pretty forceful on billing, forces payment with recurring yearly $18 fee. Paying $18 for the use of the software for 1 year would be just fine to me, but forcing a recurring yearly fee is a bit pushy in my opinion. I was able to remove the recurring fee by following the PayPal instructions in the PayPal email confirming the current $18 payment. Have to go into PayPal payment preferences and cancel the recurring payment.
Would be nice if I went in seamlessly from the screen shortcut, Love the results but can't stand the process I go through to get there... I eventually get there but it's different every time. Lose a lot of time finding my way to a video and spend A LOT of time on the never ending screen with the android phone image.
I really wanted to send just one card. I do not want a subscription.
I sent the card but the photo was ill fitting and didn't look as good as I wanted. I had limited time and only one photo to choose from so I sent it anyway.
I want to cancel this subscription.
Just joined, for purpose of sending my wife a different/funny Valentine. Used both of our faces in it. She loved it. Lots of February birthdays in my family; so creating and sending a bunch of them. Great fun even just searching for and scanning thru all the choices, looking for the "perfect" one for each person. Sure beats going to Walgreen's and going thru the card racks.
I was recently notified about a credit card issue that showed a payment to JibJab and contacted Customer Service for resolution. Within an hour I received a reply to my email and everything was handled beautifully. No questioning was I sure or blaming me for this or that. Simply a pleasant and polite resolution. Couldn't ask for better service! Wish all business were this respectful.
After several try's with the card I picked I had like to go to an alternative as the photos did not take to the card. Then when picking a different card my photos were on the different cards on the selection page.
I hope this was only temporary!
I had a misunderstanding about the payment for the offering and I was charged more than I expected. I contacted the customer support team and they refunded me within few hours and clarified to me their offerings.
Disappointed that when you post video from JibJab direclty to social media, the entire video description and JJ marketing tag ons are attached with the video post. So I download video (at additional cost) it took a long time to be ready. Should be an instantaneous process and no addl cost to paid members. Will not be renewing membership.
Easy to create the video but JibJab failed to send it to the recipient scheduled for a later delivery. In realizing that, I had to forward the video myself. Very disappointed. Otherwise, it was well received, later.
I have been a customer of JibJab for years. I have PERFECT CREDIT. I have always paid with an 'automatic payment' from PayPal. There is no reason for my payment not to have 'gone through' and my subscription to have 'lapsed'. That is. Unless this was all a set up to raise the price from $12. A year to $18. I'm very upset by this deception, and the idea that my PayPal payment did not go through. I have been with PayPal since their inception in 1995.
I joined for 12 months and then found out I was put on an automatic renewal. I tried to change this but could not on Jab Jab site so I had to do it on Pay pal site. I may carry on after 12 months but I want the option open to me, not done automatically. It should be easy to find and also should not be done without my agreement
Have sent animated card to family and friends and have received favourable responses. Would have preferred a different payment program, perhaps a scale of amount for cards used matched to amount charged.
Quick fun and easy to do, but when I share on Facebook most people don't or won't follow the link to jibjab because it takes them out of facebook and is more of an advertisement for jibjab than something funny I did for their entertainment.
I logged into my account to grab and old video that I has previously purchased but I accidentally joined as a monthly subscription and they charged me but when I messaged them to let them know that I hadn't meant to join I had a refund within 24 hours. Very ethical company and trustworthy. I recommend to make your videos here.
I didnt know that I was on automatic renewal for jibjab with paypal. When I found out and cancelled I could also request a refund from jibjab. Within one day they refunded the entire amount that they had taken for the unwanted renewal. They didnt have to do that! Very surprised and will one day use them again. Great customer service!
Although I did not achieve my purchase on jabber, they responed quickly to a request I made and did seem to care about their customers, simplyfy your site for ordering and keep up the good work in actually caring what your customers think, not all companys do,
Answer: Unfortunately, now you can only edit your heads immediately after you upload them, which makes it a waste of time to save them because each head you upload will only work correctly for the video you uploaded it for. I was told they removed the 'edit any time' function so people could use their app on androids which sounds pretty absurd to me. Oh well, this will be the last year I ever pay for it again if they don't correct this outrage.
Answer: We've removed the fine-tuned shaping feature for now to make our casting process easier for all; we also made adjustments so that users can easily cast their cards directly on mobile devices.
