I ordered 3 halloween candlesticks online. Two of them shipped first, the third one a few days later. The third one arrived first ( through usps) the other 2 arrived later the same day ( through fed ex). The first one that arrived was carefully wrapped and shipped in a plastic shipping bag. It arrived in perfect condition. The other two that arrived later were literally just shipped in the plastic bag, no paper or bubble wrap wrapped around them. These are metal candlesticks. The were both completely scratched and chipped up to the point that they look old and used. Whatever shipping warehouse they use is incredibly careless with your orders. I tried to leave a review on the website, but a moderator sent an email saying it won't be posted. So apparently you also can't trust the reviews on their website, since they cherry pick what reviews they will let you see. I don't have any issue with in store shopping, but I won't ever order from them online again.
I have tried twice to order fabric. Once to be delivered. It came in three separate pieces in two boxes. One box was delivered to the wrong address and I got it a week later. I then ordered 8 yards to pick up in the store. I was sent an email that there were 4 yards ready. I went to the store to cancel the order. The staff there(very nice) were not able to figure it out. Because of something they did accidentally in the system, I was charge for the fabric. The customer service online is terrible. There is not phone number; you cannot speak to anyone.
Went to Joann in Tucson on E Broadway.
No one would cut my fabric. Two clerks one was waiting on only other customer and apparently was new to cutting fabric. She was pulling threads to get a straight cut and taking a very long time. The other clerk was folding fabric and would not acknowledge me or offer to cut. After waiting 10 minutes I left
The only reason I come to this store is because it is very close to my home. Each time I go in, I remember why I dont come often at all. The customer service is absolutely awful. My recent visit: I stood in line longer than I was actually in the store. When I got to the register the lady did not greet me, instead said Im kinda busy as shes looking in all directions except towards me. She was talking with a co worker about another customers online order, which is fine, except I am standing right in front of her waiting for her to ring my stuff up. She said a handful of words to me the entire time and I again had to wait on her just to get my receipt. I dont know that Ill be going back at all.
Basically, their on-line order system is flawed, incomplete or out of date. They are in accessible if you need to modify, change or cancel your order. Their phone system (*******576) is both difficult to find/access and is equally unresponsive. They will put you off, delay and even hang up on you.
I was told that a Joann in south Austin was doing a liquidation sale, drove 1 hour and waited for store to open. They then told me no liquidation. Maybe in a few days. Sounds like a scam to get people to that store. I have shopped at that store for 12 years. I drive one hour to go. I have also had other issues there. With not honoring coupons, adds etc. Very disappointed. Something need to be done to bleep customers happy. Don't care about service now.
I went to the joanna fabric in lenexa and the lady working the fabric cutting stand was very rude. Everytime i asked a question she had an attitude the whole time. It was unbearable. I'm never bringing my kids to this disgusting environment ever again. I do not want them to be around this negativity. This lady had glasses and curly hair and was probably in her mid 50's. I hope this issue is fixed.
When I went to my nearest JoAnn store to pick up 2 orders that I had received emails stating they were ready for pick up, I was told they were canceled. No phone call, no email, no explanation. The store employee informed me ALL online pick up orders were cancelled. I'm guessing this is because they offered a 60% off coupon code that could be used repeatedly, which they probably did in error, or didn't realize people would use it repeatedly. I rated a 2 instead of 1 only because the employee did sell me the products I had ordered at the 60% off, but shame on you JoAnn. If you make a mistake, live with it, don't weasel out of your offers.
Wish zero stars is an option. I ordered a gift for Christmas November 28 to ensure it would arrive in time. I emailed them to inquire the status of my order and continued to monitor yet I never received any emails. I finally got ahold of someone today less than a week before Christmas and all they tell me was my order was cancelled. I never received an email, explanation, nothing! They tried giving me a $20 gift card to make up but it does not help when the item was $200 and out of stock everywhere now! RUINED THIS GIFT!
I ordered some items from them such as thread and some fabric. They were in stock when I ordered them. Then I get one item and wait for others then get an email that says my order got canceled. Later I get an email saying my order is in process. I get one more item delivered. Then every day I get more emails saying my complete order is waiting to be shipped and then ann another email saying it's cancelled. Then I can't even log in since it doesn't recognize my email address. I've already emailed customer service and nothing. Calling is useless since they say they are not receiving calls. I'm still waiting for my password reset.
I wasn't going to leave a negative review until I received a request to review based on the purchase I never ended up with. It seems my experience is not unique, but I will write it anyway.
I ordered one item which showed it was in stock at the store I selected for curbside pick-up. After 9 days, I still had no email to say it was ready and because I needed it sooner, I purchased it elsewhere and cancelled my order. Immediately (within seconds), I magically received the email to say the order was ready for pick-up.
I received three subsequent emails reminding me to pick up the order I'd already cancelled, then one to say it had been returned to stock.
After all of that, I received another email to say my order had been cancelled as the item was no longer available and my card had not been charged (which it had been).
There is nothing I need at JoAnn Fabrics badly enough to go through this headache again.
I was in Joann's in Tyler last Saturday and a young lady named Amanda was very kind and knowledgeable. She made some helpful suggestions and just went the extra mile. I will definitely be a repeat customer!
I just shopped online for Christmas clearance. I ordered 22 different items. Hours later, I received that they had cancelled ALL of the items because they didnt have them in stock. Something is seriously wrong here. Either they need to fire their IT department or their warehouse staff. How can you simply be out of EVERYTHING? I could understand one or two, but 22 different items? I had ordered multiple of some of the items, so there were many more than 22 total items ordered, but there were 22 different items that they cancelled and stated they were "out of stock".
Either they seriously have a major inventory issue, or they have an employee not wanting to fulfill orders issue. Either way, steer clear!
Cashier could not locate a SKU for a floral " bush". Although she sent another employee to try and find a SKU ( unsuccessful); she did not contact a manager to create a way for me to buy the item. Instead, she said," the managers are busy", without attempting to contact anyone. This is the headquarters store in Hudson, Ohio. Seriously? A complete waste of my time. They lost my business.
No surprise as to the review this company gets. We ordered a sewing machine online and it came broken. No way to print a return label and we need to pay for shipping back. God bless Amazon. Than we took it to the store and they would not take it back and when I asked Debra for her Regional Manager she said she did not have one. I asked her for her boss and she said she did not have one. This was the Boynon Beach Federal Highway store. Stay away.
I bought some ornaments for my tree. They were shipped in a flimsy bag. All were broken. I never received one ornament. I emailed customer service. They wanted to give me a refund on a joann's store card. Due to past experiences, where they never loaded the card, and I was called a liar at the store, I did not want a Joann's card. I asked for any other options. They Ghosted me after that. I had to contact the Facebook team. They offered me a corporate check. Nothing else for my trouble. Just a corporate check. I would have liked an apology or something. Instead, I waisted hours of my time just fighting for a refund. I will never order online with Joann's again. They also charged me for the item I didn't receive and told me that they didn't. They also charged me about $. 50 more than what they showed that they charged me on my order. It's like they are skimming. Anyway, avoid Joann's.com.
I ordered items from Joann's online several days ago, and to date have not received notification that the items have shipped or when they will be shipped. I contacted customer service 3 times still without the courtesy of a reply as to when my items will be shipped. Email is the only method of contact so talking to a real person is not an option. I recommend using another vendor when ordering online. A one star rating is one star too many!
Double charges everytime I place an online order. Customer service is useless and claims the excess $ will be refunded when the order has shipped. Lies! A week passed; I received the items I purchased, still no refund so my bank had to force JoAnn to refund the excess $. JoAnns also cancels 3/4 of my order everytime I order online claiming they don't do real time inventory. Sending me half of an order is useless! I buy the yardage of fabric I need; less than that is useless. They don't give you the option to cancel your order completely but it's apparently OK if they decide not to ship 3/4 of your stuff you purchased. I think in reality the reason they cancel your order is because they don't want you to get the items on sale. The fabric I purchased was $3.99 a yard and Joann's website still showed over 200 yards were in stock AFTER my order was cancelled! I don't know how this sham company stays in business.
Took back some yarn that was bought there, but didn't have the receipt so had to take the lowest sale price in 6 months (ok), and it had to go on a "store credit" card (ok) but when I tried to use it ($30) worth, it has been canceled and zero balanced THAT DAY! Probably by the kid that was issuing the credit in the first place. Sorry Joann, you just lost any future business. And I will be posting this on numerous sites.
Ordered an item online on 12-31-20. Was informed 5 days later that my order was cancelled due to unavailability of item. Item's price was now $70 more. I called CS and they said the item was out and would honor original price and order when available. Item appeared as available a few days later. Called customer service again and they stated that item was available in a couple of colors. When they learned that the item was needed to fulfill cancelled order at original price, I was placed on a long hold. The item was instantly unavailable again. Sounds dishonest.
Answer: I feel the exact same way. They cancelled an order I placed online and they never contacted me to tell me the order was canceled. I waited three weeks for an email to come pick up an item. I could have had this item 3 weeks ago from Michaels craft store. JoAnn's sucks!
Answer: Don't order anything from Joann. Go to a flea market or Hobby Lobby who gets your order correct and treats you by the Golden Rule. Joann is terrible and I am still waiting for a refund wherein they charged my account twice for the same order. Run!
Answer: Joann online are thieves and liars. We all need to get together to file a class action lawsuit against them for charging customers twice for the same order and then shipping wrong merchandise. This isn't an innocent mistake... it is planned. The only way to stop them is via a class action lawsuit.
Answer: Depending on which Joann store take your order. The reps are so untrained and very incapable of handling a simple online order at the Menomonee Falls Wisconsin location. They will cancel your order without your knowledge and when u call, they will tell u it will be ready by the close of business. It's, not ready than and when u call back they will say, it will be ready the next day. In all reality they messed up on purpose. ONLY IN MENOMONEE FALLS WI have I always experienced this type of treatment
