I ordered fabric before Thanksgiving and as of today, 12/14/2021 I have not received my order. I contacted Customer Service last week and was assured it would be here 12/13/2021. No package. Never again will I order from them.
Joann underships and refuses to fulfill shipment or reimburse. Package goes by weight so if it weighs what it should they won't recompense you for missing fabric. Unprofessional to deal with.
Went to their store today and cashier was not very pleasant. Asked for a bag for my merchandise and she said they are now 5 cents a bag. I told her to forget it. Her comment was well that's one plastic bag saved for the environment. I normally go to my local quilt shop but only needed a small amount of yardage. From now on I will travel the half hour to support my quilt shop. At least I know I will get polite and courteous customer service and better quality fabric and the bags are free.
Tried to return a piece of fabric that I noticed had several holes in it. But after visiting the store to get a refund, I was told because I had trimmed an edge of the material (even though unusable) that would not return my money. So much for hassle free returns.
I never shop there, but made the mistake of buying one item online. Despite numerous efforts to contact customer service (they assure a response within 2 business days), they never replied. Nearly 3 weeks after the order it still hasn't shipped.
I've ordered wood crates online for curbside pickup. Both times website said there were plenty in stock (11 or 19) depending on order date. Both. CANCELLED! My disappointment is real and will likely going to Michael's moving forward!
Ordered online, site showed multiple stock of my items, get an email next day that two items are no longer available. Did someone come in overnite and buy them up? First and last time ordering from Joann Fabrics. Very disappointing.
What a poorly designed site experience. Products show up in my search as being on sale and offered to be sold. I was allowed to make a $216 purchase, but received no confirmation email. After waiting a week I learned that they don't have a phone number to call regarding online orders so I submitted a complaint inquiry online. Two weeks later I went into the store to check status, only to learn that they cannot assist with an online order. Exactly 1 FULL month later, I received an email from my online complaint saying the product is out of stock. Amazingly horrible shopping experience. I'd yell to them to get their site fixed, but now that I'm reading other customers reviews on their poor shipping practices and lack of customer service, I think I'll steer clear. So sad that I have to walk away from one of my favorite stores. But I'd rather not deal with the stress!
I ordered 3 skeins of yarn not available in the local store. Credit card was charged $22.22. Nine days later, still no yarn. Sent email. Ignored. Called "customer service" and was promised full refund. $9.10 was credited. Second call got $3.10 more. Third call was told a full refund had already been processed. Nope. Save yourself stress and aggravation. Stay far, far away from Joann.com.
Joann.com refuses to fill orders for fabric. Every time I've ordered fabric they accept my order and then subsequently contact me a few days later to say, Oh, it's out of stock. Sorry. I could understand this happening once or twice, but not five times in a row over two years. Turns out they're too lazy to cut the fabric so they code it as out of stock. The customer service is horrible - they know nothing about the products, are rude and refuse to transfer you to a manager when asked. I will never shop Joann or Joann.com again.
I went into the Sierra Vista AZ store and bought a Cricut maker 3. The gift was a duplicate so I brought it back to the same store unopened. The store didn't have the capability to give a refund over $10. First problem! Second they said we can only send you a check. Over 3 weeks have passed and 6 phone calls 4 days of texting and still no one will tell me where my $350 is! This store/company is operated by greedy idiots! I will never buy or suggest that anyone else buy from this company forever.
Waste of time to order as they cancel repeatedly. Order was $76 for multiple different floral sprays, deco mesh, and ribbon (wreath stuff) ordered day after Christmas and I get mail daily "Uh Oh" this item cancelled. Yet I can go back on site and order again. Shopped in store for decades. 1st online order and last time shopping with them. I'll order or drive to Hobby Lobby. Worst customer service ever as zero response from them.
Ordered a few colors for chalk paint online that wasn't wrapped properly and arrived damaged. Tried to contact customer service no respond from them. Lost my money and my paints. I will never again order from Joan.
If I could give zero stars, I would. I ordered something 3 weeks ago that was supposed to arrive within 5-10 business days (which is really long anyway in this day and age) and I've called numerous times and followed up and everytime, they just say, we'll put in a request and escalate it and you'll hear from us within 3 business days. Then it's "we'll check with the vendor and get back to you". Around and around. I ordered something for a time sensitive project and devastated my 11 year old girl trying to surprise her grandma with something. I decided to shop online because I find the employees in my local store rude and unhelpful but this is the last straw with this company. Hobby Lobby might not have as much selection, but the people there have always been incredibly kind and willing to help and answer all my questions without making it seem like I'm interrupting their day.
I placed my order online on 11/28/20 because it showed items were in stock here it is now December 11 2020 and I'm still waiting for an email to state my items have been shipped terrible will never order from them again
Don't bother wasting your time ordering from Joann.com. When your order doesn't arrive by the date shown on their email update, they will simply tell you that they have 10 business days to deliver--even if they have sent you notices with a much earlier delivery date. They refuse to cancel the order and insist that you return the items to the store. Since they refuse to be held accountable for their poor customer service and delivery practices, I will NOT be ordering from them again.
After reading so many negative reviews about their website, I decided not to use it. I do have something to say about the stores. I'm giving them two stars because they have a pretty wide selection of items, and they send coupons to interested customers. Unfortunately, clerks/cashiers at stores I've shopped at seem to put a great deal of effort into being EXTREMELY rude and cold. Why? It makes no sense to me unless they truly want to drive away customers, which is exactly what they finally did to me a few years ago.
I ordered fabric to make face masks on 5/2 (at a dramatically inflated price) and received shipping confirmation on 5/12 but the tracking information hasn't been updated since then and I never received. It Is obviously lost so I tried contacting Jo-Ann requesting status update thru the form on their website but received no response. After several tries, I sent several emails directly to customer service requesting that they reship but still no response. It's been nearly 2 weeks since I initially contacted them and I've been sending daily emails simply requesting a refund and still have heard nothing. I understand these are challenging times but this is inexcusable.
It irritates me to purchase products that are advertised with a sign over said products and then be charged an alternate price at the register... t- shirts at 2 for 12 and then charged 12.99 for one and 8.99 for the other! They mark everything up at least 150% and then offer coupons for 40- 50 % off! The coupons don't always go through on the purchases and you don't see it until you're out of the store! I will never shop there again! These stores are just taking advantage of people! Hobby lobby is the best option!
I ordered 6 spools of bobbin thread to pickup in store. Only 4 in bag. Asked cashier why I was charged for 6. Cashier said the amount would be corrected. Nope. One week later still billed for 6 spools. I called Customer 2x, was told I have to wait longer... meanwhile Discover bill is due. I will refuse to accept online orders if stuff is missing or not do online pickup. Check your receipts so you don't get ripped off
Answer: I feel the exact same way. They cancelled an order I placed online and they never contacted me to tell me the order was canceled. I waited three weeks for an email to come pick up an item. I could have had this item 3 weeks ago from Michaels craft store. JoAnn's sucks!
Answer: Don't order anything from Joann. Go to a flea market or Hobby Lobby who gets your order correct and treats you by the Golden Rule. Joann is terrible and I am still waiting for a refund wherein they charged my account twice for the same order. Run!
Answer: Joann online are thieves and liars. We all need to get together to file a class action lawsuit against them for charging customers twice for the same order and then shipping wrong merchandise. This isn't an innocent mistake... it is planned. The only way to stop them is via a class action lawsuit.
Answer: Depending on which Joann store take your order. The reps are so untrained and very incapable of handling a simple online order at the Menomonee Falls Wisconsin location. They will cancel your order without your knowledge and when u call, they will tell u it will be ready by the close of business. It's, not ready than and when u call back they will say, it will be ready the next day. In all reality they messed up on purpose. ONLY IN MENOMONEE FALLS WI have I always experienced this type of treatment
