"I made the mistake of ordering a craft item from Joann.com, and I'll never do that again. Here it is, nearly a week later, and they still haven't shipped my order. I emailed them to find out the reason for the delay, but they haven't responded. I wanted to cancel the order and buy from a more reliable company, but they don't allow cancellations of orders after they've been placed, even if they haven't bothered to ship them yet. And they charge for returns, no matter the reason.
Their service is so bad that I'm considering avoiding shopping in their fabric stores. I'm completely fed up! "
I just received my order and got some items that I didn't order. They cannot send replacements and customer service sounds very lazy. There is also an item from my order that still hasn't even processed. It's been at least 7 business days! My thoughts are it sold out and will be cancelled. I will stick with Amazon!
HI. I ordered 20 icing cans for a charity project and 3 came opened. I wanted to return the opened ones and no one is answering me via email - even after 4 attempts. I would like to be a regular customer, but it isn't worth it if no one will help you. Try Michaels instead.
I recently purchased an e-gift card for my wife. Within minutes Joann's had charged my debit card twice for $100 each time. I have now spent several days trying to get them to refund half of what they charged, as the gift card was only for $100. They seem to all be absolutely STUPID. Even after emailing a copy of m online banking page, they still don't understand what the problem. HELLO, you have $100 that's mine and I want it back. Now the whole world will be able to see how your business is run. You bunch of dummies might want to check out Order Order #CNDUN7ENHK, and then see how much money you charged me.
I will surely tell everybody to never do business with you, because it won't be a good experience.
Here's an edit, after multiple emails, and a nasty review, I finally got the refund. It's a shame that it had to come down to this.
I ordered 2 personalized fabric pieces with my grandsons names on them for Christmas quilts. First they kept pushing delivery dates out. FINALLY they arrived last night and one piece has the WRONG NAME on it! The other one is okay but I can't use it. Two little boys with one boy having his name in his quilt and one without? I don't think so! Just on the phone with them and they offered to place another order. Gee thanks but... just give me my $$ back. I will NEVER use Joann online again nor should anyone else!
I'm in Joanns at least once a week spending no less than $65. I was in today because a text reminded me of the $10 off for purchase of over $50. I get to the counter with costumes and decor and how to on my mind. Clerk remembers to ask me if I want to donate money to "whatever". Transaction is complete. I pay her. I say "oh crap" what about coupons? She says, "u oh,
Well here is one and hands me my receipt. I'm a regular. I give them 3 to 400 a month. And. U OH Is what I get. Yes I can go back to the end of that long line thats going to the back of the store. But I don't have that kind of time on my only day off. Crappy customer service. I wanted to buy paints behind the glass but no one arrived 10 minutes waiting after pushing service button. 3 times. Really going to shop online for now on. Service sucks. Won't be going inside anymore! Tired of their incompetence.

Wanted replacement of missing items to complete a project but after such a runaround with Cust. Service ( if you can call it that) they gave me a refund. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and placed another order to include the missing yarn that they refunded me and guess what? Same again, items missing from order and back on the merry-go-round with Cust Service again.
Prices seem good but not worth the hassle.
I ordered an item on the website for curb side pick up. Two days later nothing... no email saying to pick up or out of stock. Called two days later spoke with a manager was on hold for a few minutes when waiting for manager! Then manager puts me on hold... no music just noise! Ugh. Finally! She says order was brought up front I can pick up! I really didn't want to go in store but I guess this on line curb side is a joke! Poor service... Never again!
Was told package will arrive on Monday. Never did. Supposed to leave package at front door. Never did. Now I have to use my gas to pick it up myself from a post office. They didn't even give specific address of the post office as if my town doesn't have 500 of them. Horrible experience. Good thing shipping was free. Would've sucked more if I was charged for it. Never shopping from Joann again.
Twice in three days, I've been tricked by the signage. "Buy 1, get 2 free," is absolutely false. Twice I bought three items that appeared to qualify and was charged full price for all three. Twice I returned to the store to be told that the items purchased "don't qualify." (!)
I can read, I'm educated, I've shopped successfully for 50 years. Even though the brand is the same, the items are shelved together, and they are the same item (fabric flowers) they "don't qualify."
I've never before felt that I had to be in guard to shop at Joann's. I won't go back. There's too much competition that respects the customer.

Ordered fabric charged to my Visa and delivery was Sept 29…then a notice it would be later. Called Joann's and was told they can do nothing about International deliveries, then put to eshop, who is the carrier for international(Canada). Now no one knows anything…never shop Joann's if you live in Canada and want service.
This is for the online component as I don't have one nearby. I've ordered 4 times in the past 6-7 weeks and each order immediately followed-up with an order confirmation. That's it. Charges were pending and eventually fell off. No other emails or notices. I called customer service several times and each time I received a different explanation. In the end, I was told their online order system is not accurate (in stock or not). They do not have a back-order notification system (orders placed for items not in stock will "fall off" the system with no notice). And for all my trouble I was told I'd get a gift card emailed to me. Never came. About a week later I did get a $10 card in the mail. I used it and once again, order disappeared from my credit card and nothing sent, shipped, no notices, nothing. I'm done with this store.
3 weeks ago you had a sale Boro on yarn 3gl get 2 free. Ok fine and dandy now you discontinued carrying the yarn that I need to finish my item I am working on. It's called Premier Puzzle. I have checked 3 different stores and no one has it. Please respond to me maybe you can ship me one. I wanted to use my coupon and get 1 more skein.
I understand things are taking longer with the current situation. However, dealing with a lot of other companies, Joann Fabrics is the worst. There is virtually no customer service at all. Orders get cancelled after you wait days and days. Then placing orders for delivery, you hear no response and nothing is happening with that order.
Ordered online a month ago. Still have NOT received it. They're NOT taking calls, email response says we cannot cancel your order. APPALLING! Yes you can cancel, but are refusing. Kept my money and NO ORDER! I will not shop here again!
Ordered 4,2 yard pieces of coordinating fabric. One arrived. At the bottom of the receipt in tiny type ( I noticed days later) it says the others are out of stock. So, my options were to pay $8 to return a $6 item, or drive 20 miles to return it. I decided to just keep it... but the customer service was terrible, rude, not helpful. When items are out of stock, you need to contact the buyer to see if the want the remaining items.
When it appeared obvious that my package was lost/missing I contacted "customer care". They simply repeated the tracking info I provided to them. Since they were unwilling to do anything I contacted USPS directly. They confirmed the items were missing but can only make arrangements for reimbursement with Joann directly. I provided the case number two days ago, still no response.
I went to Joann's Redlands location today, when I asked for my senior discount the girl at the register said they didn't do that. I went out front to check the website (no cell service near the store). Another employee told the register girl to offer to let me donate a dollar and I could have 40% off one item but there wasn't a senior discount. I finally get somewhere with cell service and see the senior discount is 20%. Employees should know company policies.
I placed an order well over a month ago and still have not received my products. Customer Service has been unresponsive. I've emailed them several times and haven't received a response. Dont waste your time trying to contact them via phone. You'll only receive an automated message stating to email them. Save yourself the time and energy -SHOP ELSEWHERE.
I placed an online order for 24 Christmas tree ornaments. It took longer than normal to receive 2 partial shipments. After receiving no additional shipping information, I called and was on hold for 50 minutes before speaking with someone. I was told I would receive the rest of my order on Monday, December 4th. I did not. I called again on Tuesday and was told my case would be escalated and I would receive a response within 3 business days. Well, it is now Friday with no response. I need the rest of the items by Monday for a work Christmas party. If there was a problem fulfilling the quantity, I should not have been able to place the order in my opinion. I should have at least received a response by now. I also never received a response to an email that was sent before even calling. Will not be ordering from this company again.
Answer: I feel the exact same way. They cancelled an order I placed online and they never contacted me to tell me the order was canceled. I waited three weeks for an email to come pick up an item. I could have had this item 3 weeks ago from Michaels craft store. JoAnn's sucks!
Answer: Don't order anything from Joann. Go to a flea market or Hobby Lobby who gets your order correct and treats you by the Golden Rule. Joann is terrible and I am still waiting for a refund wherein they charged my account twice for the same order. Run!
Answer: Joann online are thieves and liars. We all need to get together to file a class action lawsuit against them for charging customers twice for the same order and then shipping wrong merchandise. This isn't an innocent mistake... it is planned. The only way to stop them is via a class action lawsuit.
Answer: Depending on which Joann store take your order. The reps are so untrained and very incapable of handling a simple online order at the Menomonee Falls Wisconsin location. They will cancel your order without your knowledge and when u call, they will tell u it will be ready by the close of business. It's, not ready than and when u call back they will say, it will be ready the next day. In all reality they messed up on purpose. ONLY IN MENOMONEE FALLS WI have I always experienced this type of treatment
