Ordering online is a huge waste of time. Order an item only to get a "delayed shipment" email four days later - then a cancellation email two days after that. The item is STILL IN STOCK on the website. So I order it again. Now I have yet another "delayed shipment" email. I tried calling customer service to cancel the order but they will not cancel orders that have not even shipped yet. I will never order from them again nor would I recommend anyone else order from them. Why is the item showing as in stock when you won't ship it? Unprofessional and awful service. Go to Hobby Lobby or Michael's instead and save yourself the headache.
Ordered item online that wasn't wrapped properly and arrived damaged. Tried to contact customer service twice but never heard any response. Left an honest review on broken item and the company rejected review.
Complete lack of customer service. NO working phone number for customer service - it redirects to email, which you can never get a response from and if you do it's a bland template that doesn't answer any of your questions/concerns directly.
I ordered hundreds of dollars worth of vases for my upcoming WEDDING. They cancelled 3, shipped ONE, and the rest are in "processing". But of course they've charged my card multiple times.
I've given Joann 3 different chances and time after time they failed. Each time it's taken more than 13 days to have my order(s) shipped. Two times they waited more than 13 days to notify me that they've cancelled the majority of the items in the order, but wouldn't allow me to cancel the remaining. You can never cancel, they want you to return any items even if they haven't been shipped yet. Their customer service is non-existent. They are rude and unhelpful. Because of this I will no longer shop with them. Even in their stores.
I had placed an order with the Cyber Monday deal for some items I was going to get as a Christmas present. These items were not available for pick up anywhere nearby so I decided to pay the $8 for shipping. Several days AFTER I placed the order and paid the total I received an email that one of my items was no longer available and would be cancelled. Then a week later I received another email that the second item was cancelled. I've never had my items cancelled after payment, this has been so frustrating. It took almost a week for them to take the charge off my card. After reading the reviews and seeing I'm not the only one dealing with these issues I will not be giving Joann's my money again.
Was told I got my refund through PayPal, I do not have a PayPal account. Customer service was not helpful. Will not be purchasing from their store again. Out $40 from this whole ordeal. Normally not someone who gets angry easily, but its easy when people are NOT helpful.
I have always had great service in the store and often use online to purchase fabric. I use a variety of fabrics and find that the quilt fabric is comparable to what I get in the quilt shops. The generic fabric is a good alternative to the more expensive quilting fabric and serves the purpose when I'm doing other projects that don't require the same quality. I appreciate having the flexibility to choose different grades of fabric to suit my project requirements. I recently bought some fabric on line and was pleased to see that it was as shown. And again the process of picking it up in the store was simple and the customer service was good. The only thing I have to say could be improved is the ease of using the website..
Ordered a surprise gift for my wife from Joann.com. Waited 2 weeks for it. Tracking continued saying printing label. So I called customer service. What an incompetent group. They had no answer to my questions. I was given a gs number and told that with in 24 to 48 hours someone would respond to me with a solution. No call. I called back only to talk to the most rude person, I tried to cancel my order and was told that I could not do that. She then transfered me to a gentleman at corporate that hung up on me. Long story short, I did get my order cancelled but they only refunded me part of my money after a guanentee from the manager of customer service it was all fixed. Two weeks later when I get my statement, I find how they cheated me for an order that was never shipped.
They don't help my. Mom when she told them to cut a yard down but they like sorry can't help you so my mom want. Different place I was upset because they didn't do sewing class there they said didn't have customer service
I ordered multiple yards of a fabric. They shipped the wrong fabric. On May 6th, I called, was redirected to email, them, sent screen shots of correct fabric and the order. No response. Sent multiple emails in between now and then. I really just want my money back now. Pretty sure no one is reading their customer service emails. Called again today, still redirected to email. I'm pretty sure chickens are reading their emails and are pecking on "delete" key. I realize these are unprecedented times, but... come on...
I, unfortunately, have nothing positive to say about my online experience with Joanne Fabric. It has been a nightmare!
I ordered a Cricut Explore Air 2 and on 9/26 received an email saying it has shipped and should arrive at FedEx (which I requested for safety) on 10/1
I went to fed ex and they reported that it had not arrived. I called Joanne's and they said yes I had arrived. After many back and forth for the next 10 days, it still has not arrived!
I've now been given a 4th arrival due date and customer service said "there's nothing they can do".
I have learned a hard lesson... I should have ordered from Amazon or from Michael's as they are always efficient, helpful, fast delivery and on target for customer service.
Please learn from my mistake!
I get Joann's emails with plenty of coupons. Great I thought. Wrong. Most of the time the checkout clerk will say 'oh that coupon doesn't apply to this.' This has happened to me several times. They do this just to get you in the store. It's just a marketing trick. Not crazy about Joann's.
Joanne's policy of online purchases is a TERRIBLE policy. Just so you know, you are charged for your order when you place it, then also when it's shipped. Supposedly when it is delivered your original money is returned. I find out today that it is 10-14 business days before it is returned. This means that Joanne's Fabric is using your money for over a month. My order was only $46.97, however, if they do this to every online customer, they are making a killing off our money for the month. I have made four phone calls, all to no avail. I will not order or shop at Joanne's ever again.
Website is bad, store is bad.
It takes over a month and 20 phone calls before your items arrive (partially). And they never refund your money for those orders they cannot fulfill.
They need to go out of business. This company is fraudulent.
JoAnn fabric... I haven't gone there very many times that I was satisfied with their customer service. This past Saturday was the very worst. We wanted to buy some items that were listed as on sale for buy one get 2 free. Also a couple of items in the. 50 bin. We got to the check out counter and they charged us full price for all of these items. So we politely reminded them that these things had rung up wrong. Well, after standing there for 45 minutes and waiting for the manager to finally find time to come see about it and holding up a line of about 8 other customers while they hashed it out they finally got it straightened out. What a negative experience. Come on Joann's get it together!
I placed my very first order with JoAnn.com. I ordered several yards of different fabrics and accessories. I received confirmation and my card was charged. An hour later, I received an email stating my entire order, every item, was no longer available and was cancelled. I'm waiting for my card to be refunded. If not I will dispute. Never using them again.
I placed an order online and received partial shipment. I waited over a week for the rest of the shipment to arrive. It never arrived so I called customer service, they then informed me the place that was fulfilling my order cancelled the rest of my order. They never even notified me that they were cancelling the rest of my order. I was relying on those items to arrive. If they cancel an order they should at least have the decency to call the consumer or even an email would have been better than nothing. I will never place another online order with Joann's. This company is VERY inconsiderate to it's consumers who shop online.
I stopped at my local Joann's store to pick up thread and appliqués. I went in the store, found my items and paid more at the checkout than I would have if I'd ordered online. I was informed by the checkout clerk that the cheaper price I found was online only if I placed an order, had an employee find what I wanted and then delivered it to me curbside. Something's wrong with this. I won't be shopping at Joann's in the future.
Your store in Fremont Ohio needs an upgrade in manners and how to treat customers and each other. Was back where the pins and needles are and two employees were back there talking about another employee and did not care I was there listening. Where is management during this why aren't those two helping customers instead of talking bad about one another. They are also very rude to their older customers senior citizens. Shame on you.
I called a week after placing my order online to confirm the item was still in stock since it was a week and hadn't heard anything. The woman assured me my item was being packed and should ship out in the next 24 hours. No word them I received notice my order was cancelled. When I called again to ask why, they did offers 50% off coupon... but it's the same one I already have access to. Thanks for wasting 2 weeks of my time Joann's. I'll stick to going into the store if for some reason I need something for your awful company
Answer: I feel the exact same way. They cancelled an order I placed online and they never contacted me to tell me the order was canceled. I waited three weeks for an email to come pick up an item. I could have had this item 3 weeks ago from Michaels craft store. JoAnn's sucks!
Answer: Don't order anything from Joann. Go to a flea market or Hobby Lobby who gets your order correct and treats you by the Golden Rule. Joann is terrible and I am still waiting for a refund wherein they charged my account twice for the same order. Run!
Answer: Joann online are thieves and liars. We all need to get together to file a class action lawsuit against them for charging customers twice for the same order and then shipping wrong merchandise. This isn't an innocent mistake... it is planned. The only way to stop them is via a class action lawsuit.
Answer: Depending on which Joann store take your order. The reps are so untrained and very incapable of handling a simple online order at the Menomonee Falls Wisconsin location. They will cancel your order without your knowledge and when u call, they will tell u it will be ready by the close of business. It's, not ready than and when u call back they will say, it will be ready the next day. In all reality they messed up on purpose. ONLY IN MENOMONEE FALLS WI have I always experienced this type of treatment
