Stole $1,400 from me told me my case handler Amanda and my attorney Scott Mills both quit. Then gave me an opt. Out offer by mailed letter didn't show any effort to help. They hang up on me they lied to me by saying I was entitled to a refund but then stone walled and are the scum of Orlando.

This firm charged me thousands of dollars and said the case would be over in months. Instead, they wasted my money on phone calls and emails to me and the opposing attorney with "updates on the case". However these updates stated nothing for progression
My case was reviewed and taken by an experience attorney I felt comfortable with. Except on the day of the trial when it really counted he did not show up, instead they sent the most inexperience lawyer they could find. Needless to say I lost the case and now my home. While in trial the attorney did not say one word in my defense, not one word. I paid for a legal recorder the only thing that attorney stated was her name. I did not just pay you $2500 to say nothing... in my defense. When I called the law firm and asked what happened no body returned any of my phone calls. Just got the usual run around. If the Attorney I though that was supposed to represent me could not make it at least send me someone with experience.

My wife and I hired K. E. L. To represent us in a case. We were assigned a lawyer that we felt good about but before the court date he and several other they assigned us subsequently were no longer with the firm. On court date no lawyer from K. E. L. Showed up and the judge awarded the other side the case by default. When we tried to get K. E. L. To make it right, they wanted additional funding and for us to sign a form stating that they had represented us in good faith. It cost us everything we had, including our home.
If you are considering hiring them my suggestion is to run the other way as fast as you can.
I retained an attorney for $4000. After taking my check and cashing it, I never heard back from them again. When I noticed nothing was happening, attorney did not respond, secretary made excuses, I marched in there and cancelled my case. Another attorney met with me and said they would return the monies left over, I NEVER HEARD FROM THEM AGAIN. They stole my money just like that.

Incompetence, horrible service. I did not even know who was handling my case since it was passed on to several different people, who never responded to phone calls, emails, etc
I felt scammed. After you sign the contract and pay good luck getting a hold of them.
Kel now ASAP lawyers in Orlando took $1500 of our money and 10 months later nothing has been done. The receptionist, if she answers, would put us on hold and never return... Phone calls and emails were returned maybe 4 weeks late, paralegals changed without our knowledge. We even got a new lawyer who did not understand our case.
Please do a lot of research, speak to your friends for advice, but do not hire ASAP lawyers in Orlando. From our experience they took our money and wasted our time. I would rather give them a zero rating but it is not possible. I am very sad we hired them :(
It's been since November 2015 since I paid them 1,500 for a divorce. They keep giving me different paralegal's/attorney's to work with but every time I think I'm getting closer, nobody follows through and the excuse is that "their not with us anymore". A simple easy divorce. Nothing to split. No child support required. Totally uncontested.
This firm will do nothing for you, they will get their money, give you numerous amounts of attorneys which don't update themselves with your case in timely matter, file motions half $#*!, lâte for court hearings and so forth.
Biggest mistake of my life, the only thing they are good at doing is collecting money. I have heard all sorts of excuses from their systems being down to para legals being in the hospital and still haven't finished my bankruptcy

If you need an attorney please do not hire these people. I had a simple case that went on for a year, and because of that I lost my job and at the end of the trial I lost the trial because they let the state bringing evidence a whole year later. Besides that no communication no set lawyer. It was about seven different people who represented me throughout that year. I'm so disappointed in these people and I plead with anyone else not to hire these unprofessional people.
They gave me a run around after the free consultation. Apparently the lawyer assigned to my case was no longer there then I called and called nothing. The portal empty. I requested my money after months of waiting they send me a letter of denial of my refund $1500. 00 I had hired lawyers before this is just plain fraud
Oh BOY did the attorney talk a good game. She said, "People DON'T say no to KEL." Well, guess what opposing council said? They said, "No." Then they took forever to get anything done and I ended up having to do the leg work for myself.
I hope that you read these reviews before hiring these attorneys and believe that these aren't win some/lose some situations. KEL Attorneys lose consistently. There is a reason they make you sign a contract that repeatedly states that they promise you nothing. That's exactly what you get with them... nothing.
I hired these "attorneys" with the hopes of having my child support order modified after losing my job. They messed up the intake process and informed me that they couldn't represent me after receiving their full payment. I was promised a refund within 8 weeks. That hasn't happened and now they won't return my phone calls or e-mails. Stay clear of these people. I read the negative reviews and gave them a chance anyway since they were all I could afford. I regret this decision and hope to spare others from the same outcome. They will tell you the bad reviews will come from people that are unhappy because they didn't get their desired outcomes in court. I am writing this because they couldn't even get me to court and still want to keep my money.
