Today I had a noon appointment to get my blood drawn. I planned my entire workday around it. I got there at 11:45 at which time there were several people in the waiting room and no one at the front desk. Some of the people said they had been waiting for an hour and no one had been at the front desk and at least 30 minutes. Another five or so people came in over the next 30 minutes. Still there was no one at the front desk. I finally knocked on the window and somebody came out. The person who had been waiting an hour was called in, and when I asked the woman working there if she knew approximately when I would be seen, she said no and that all these people were before me, even though I appeared to be one of the only people who was actually scheduled. At 12:30 I left. I won't be able to go again until the end of the week which means I will have to cancel my doctor's appointment that we scheduled to go over my bloodwork that I won't have. I really expect more from Labcorp.

So, I was instructed to schedule with automated attendant which I did but upon arrival, no appointment was scheduled. I was instructed to sign in using a kiosk which I did, but the receptionist didn't show I had signed in. I was informed by the receptionist that when she found my order (which had been faxed in by Doctor) they would put me in the cue. The stack of paper orders was at least 6" tall. Disorganized, automated system not working efficiently and the poor receptionist was not able to handle all of the unhappy people who had been sitting waiting for 30 to 45 minutes --- not realizing they weren't registered. All in an effort to hire less people. Way to go LabCorp - you've lost my business forever!

Phelbotomist Nordelin Pena and the entire rest of the staff at the Lab Corps Perth Amboy (N. J) location are consistently very kind and patient with our mentally $#*!ed sister, despite her fearful crying and carrying on during blood draws. We appreciate this very much, and that is the reason my brother and I always take our sister there for lab work.
Thank you. -- Christopher O'Connor

I went to the labcorp office at 2601 SW 37th Ave, Suite 501-502, Miami, FL, ******* today. The lady that was drawing my blood was not very gentle or kind. The office manager Amaryllis was amazing! I had several vials drawn and I have VERY small and difficult veins. One of my veins collapsed. Amaryllis came into my room and was able to draw blood and was so so kind and caring! I was very thankful for her today! She is perfect at her job

DO NOT USE LabCOrps! They ruined my credit for sending an invoice to collections when i freaking paid for it! The second time i had to use them i realized it was a trend! I paid my invoice the same day i received the invoice, received a payment confirmation by email. A few days later i receive an email from their portal telling me my invoice was due. Im thinking strange? Maybe its standard. Mind you my banking statement already shows the fee deducted from my balance. A month later i get a past due notice in the mail. Are u $#*!ing kidding me.

I went to Lab Corp to do my MMR test, I were confirmed by the technician that my insurance will cover the test. However, a month later I received an invoice with request to pay $309 for the test. I called the billing department and was confirmed that the whole bill was almost $900, and already had some discount therefore, I have to pay $309. I argued that why I was confirmed by a technician my insurance will pay for it, and now have to do. They said that is not their job, I need to call my insurance.
Not recommend to anyone to Lab Corp. Bad service and cost too much.

Patricia the lab tech was slow. In the simple task of checking off the lab tests from my order to the computer it took her 20 minutes. It felt like she was going slow on purpose as her coworker was much faster. She would stare at the computer screen when there were only 4 choices. I could read and see which choice matched, why was she staring so long?

The other concerning issue with this lab is the chairs where the blood is drawn are INSIDE the area where testing and transferring of samples is taking place! Like 5 feet from where I'm sitting. This is wrong in so many ways.
1. what if something breaks or splatters, I'm sitting right there. I would be hit with any fluid.
2. What if I grabbed samples, grabbed pippettes, any patient coming after me has access to my blood too. 5 feet away someone could mix up samples.

Wrong wrong wrong. Bad set up, slow unproductive person, no confidence in this lab at all.

We had labcorp 30 years ago in Indiana and the staff consistently messed things up. Not sure if it is their training or the staff followed us to Florida. The DeLand shop didn't require patients to wear masks and the sign in screen was greasy with finger prints. I wouldn't touch it. Receptionist signed me in and things went somewhat smoothly. But then I needed one test to be redone - not their fault. A couple of hours before that appointment I got call they were closing early but I could go to Orange City. The note on Orange City door said everyone must wear mask but young woman sitting next to door didn't have one. They didn't have my order - it was at the other lab and couldn't get it. But if I told them my doctor's phone number they would see if he'd fax it over. I didn't have the number and they refused to look it up telling me no test today. So hoping my insurance company signs with another lab.

Every year when my family and I have our physicals, I have to follow up with Labcorp to refill claims. Because there may be multiple diagnosis codes, the physical code (Zoo.oo) must be listed first for labwork related to the physical when filed with insurance company; otherwise, the charge will be applied towards deductible. I keep catching this... I wonder how many others (such as elderly, fixed income...) are not aware the claims are filed incorrectly and just pay the bill? This is wrong on Labcorps part.

LabCorps bought out the Lab in my area, that had been in business for 50 years, everyone loved them, they were helpful etc etc. Had my Thyroid Labs Drawn over a week ago, which normally is back 2 -3 days tops, but not with LabCorps, still waiting, and cannot find out what the hell is going on with them... If you need your labs drawn before your next Drs appt, you had better have them done maybe 3 weeks ahead of time if you want them back on time. I had never had this happen with the former Lab. A lot of complaints... This is a nation wide corporate Lab taking over everything, and the patients are the ones who suffer. I hope someone better comes along and buys them out... However with all this said I have since found a Lab at my local hospital that does all their own etsting which I will be using form here on out, and LabCorps can kiss my $#*!

Ask for Cornelio
December 20, 2020

I get so happy and grateful when I go for a blood test and I see this wonderful technician named Cornelio. He is very experienced and know exactly how to draw your blood without any pain, I swear that I don't even feel the pinch of the needle.
I recommend to everyone to ask for this guy when you visit the fairfax labcorp.

I had an emergency STAT test for HSG to determine health of pregnancy. I did it 7am and should have been at Dr's by 2pm. Because it was 12/30, the last day before a holiday, labcorp dropped the ball and forgot to send the results. I had to call 4 people to get the results which when I received them were not even correctly done. They put the word "note" I the result field with no result following. I was beside myself the entire holiday weekend because of their negligence. I will NEVER use them again. How dare you put your holiday plans over my health and the health of my baby.

Checked in at about 9:05 am, scanners did not scan my insurance cards. This was for a fasting blood test, I am diabetic. I waited for 2 hours & 20 minutes to be seen, only for the clerk to ask to scan my cards again. Very shakey, glad I didn't pass out. I will need to find another lab! And, if my doctor will not order from another lab, I will get another doctor

I have been to Labcorp in Seattle 3 times trying to get necessary blood work done, and 3 times I had to leave without it getting done because Labcorp is too cheap to pay enough salary to entice more phlebotomists to want to work there. The employees are wonderful! That is not the problem. Labcorp needs to step up, offer larger salaries to draw more employees that want to work there! Sick of it! They are overworking their employees to death. Get it together Labcorp and quit being so damn greedy!

When I arrived the officer told me i have 3 hours wait despite the appointment i lost my day at work then my turn came after about 4 hours. I haven't got any results and when i called they told me they lost my results.
Unprofessional and don't even deserve 1 star they r wasting government money!

Creve Coeur, Missouri location on N. New Ballas Road. The lab technician who waited on me was a tall bald man who was extremely rude, annoyed, angry, and intimidating. He was already mad about something else and that affected the way he treated me when he was administering me the blood test. I felt very uncomfortable in this situation. I recommend to go somewhere else if you need to get a blood test. He had attitude when I asked him questions. I couldn't wait for my appointment to be over.

Worst possible experience!

I made an appointment for 1:45 PM, arrived at 1:10 PM and checked into their electronic kiosk. I was offered a better appointment in just 2 minutes.

Forty minutes later the woman manning the front desk called my name and asked why I was there. She apparently did not check the appointment information.

I said that I have a standing order for a simple blood test every 4 weeks. She asked for the order from my doctor. I handed it to her and she said that it would be a few minutes. I told her that I needed the original back because it is a reoccurring order. She said that she would make a copy for me. I said that I needed the original back. She said that she would keep the original and give me a copy.

I again repeated that I needed the original. She said no. I said that I now wanted the original to take to a different lab because I did not want her to keep the original and that I no longer wanted the blood work performed there.

She gave it to me and as I turned to leave, she said "Have a nice day, honey". I turned back and she gave me a huge grin.

In her mind I'm sure that she thought she was important and in total control. Her "better than you" attitude cost LabCorp a customer.

I got the blood work done at a local hospital and they gave me back the original order. I asked if they needed the original and they told be "of course not".

LabCorp? NEVER AGAIN!

LabCorp labs a bust
August 25, 2022

I usually dont have issues with my labwork, but so far this year (2022) I have had to retake 2 tests, the lab forgot to run 3 tests my doctor ordered, and this month 4 tests my doctor ordered 2 weeks ago still have not come back yet, and it only should have taken 3 days! All in the last 4 months! I have had a HORRIBLE time getting my results back, if even done at all, and I am HUGELY upset at how it has been not working! They are unreliable and expensive, and about as bad as the IRS! When it comes to payment, they want it now, but you get an: "oh, I forgot, sorry. Lets redraw blood and do it again" if you have to go have a test redone! They waited so long to run a test on one of my samples it coagulated and I had to draw blood and retest again! If you can help it, request to use Quest Diagnostics... LabCorp is a joke!

Labs
March 23, 2023

Had Quanterferion Test done on 03/16/2023, received email from labcorp in stockbrige saying that my test results were back and when I log in to my account to see the results of my test it said my specimen was not labeled properly, then when I called labcorp customer service they tried to blame the mistake on my agency, my agency didn't draw my labs labcorp did. I won't return to this place ever again.
