There is nothing good about using Labcorp. Impossible to make appointment by phone, because that system does not work. If you don't believe me just try. So I have to come in and wait forever and I mean forever. People behind the desk are unhelpful and rude and refuse to help. Lastly it is impossible to find it's present location. I will do anything to avoid using Labcorp. I will forgo going to the Dr. if it means I have to use Labcorp.

On this topic (not all topics), no stars. Too many elitist assumptions to use machines. Much worst than the stupidmarket. Many people who need blood tests do not have a driver's license with a picture. Not everyone has a drivers license. I am somewhat tech savvy but have no devices other than a home phone and PC. There are ignorant assumptions that everyone owns the same things. One might say this is bad marketing or even racist. So registration for me is slower than before.

Lab corp in Winchester Va. Does not look like a medical facility. They all have long dirty nails. Just scream at everyone in there. No bedside manners. Lost my 1yr old sons blood specimen. This facility needs to be shut down! The workers need to not work in medical and belong somewhere in the streets picking up trash.

Exposed to Covid-19
October 4, 2021

I just received a letter from Labcorp stating I was exposed to Covid-19 from one of their employees when I had a blood draw done on 9/23/21. Today is 10/4/21. Why did it take so long to notify me? And why is an employee working who is positive? Also, they won't release my blood work results until 10/8. My doc already has the results. I really don't like this company and will avoid them in the future.

Every time we've come to this facility they've lost the information that my doctor has faxed in. The workers have the worst attitude and are never helpful in the slightest. We came here at 3:00 and had to wait until closing to see if our doctor could fax them the information again with no success. Even while I was sitting in the waiting room today, one of the other women in the waiting room told me she was there because they literally lost her blood test from the last time she was there. She was worried because her condition was becoming more severe and now she'll have to wait even longer to be treated all because they can't keep up with anything at this facility. They lose everything here whether it be your paperwork or your actual test! Save yourself the time and energy (And the uncertainty of not knowing where your test has disappeared to)

Unethical billing practices
September 25, 2023

Four business days after conducting a test, they sent me an email demanding payment. 6 days later, I received a bill in the mail, demanding immediate payment. Obviously, they hadn't even billed my insurance company yet. Times for billing office to be open are shorter than what the bill says. Would give a zero rating if possible.

For over a year now I have been unable to make an appointment on Labcorp's website. I fill out all the required information and upon finalizing the appointment, I get an error message. I attempted to contact someone about this and there is no phone number or email to report this sort of problem. I finally went through a string of phone numbers until I got to the right one for making an appointment. If there was a minus five star rating, I would have selected that for a rating for this organization's customer service and web site. If it were not my employer's decision to switch to LabCorp I would still be going to Quest Diagnostics. Never had a single problem with them. LabCorp sucks! Avoid them if you have a choice.

Will never return
April 16, 2016

In Doylestown, PA, maybe others are better, I don't know, but this one seemed completely without management, highly unprofessional, disorganized, and made me feel I was in Kmart for healthcare. People were pleasant, and the tech that drew blood seemed to know what she was doing. But, yelling across the room, conversations with others with a patient on the phone, gave me an incomplete and wrong kit for a home procedure. Will never return and pay out of pocket to go elsewhere.

The customer service is absolutely awful. Had to come twice in the same day because they are understaffed. Come with zero directions and do my test. I am told it's not enough and they threw it away. She gives me a cup and tells me to drink a lot of water, cooler is in the front room. Then asks me how much I drank and I said about 6 cups. She yells at me "stop. Omg...stop drinking." She proceeds to go back in the front area and talks with the front desk rep about me and is laughing. The one front desk person is in training and they had her there alone this morning when I first came and she is not fully trained so I had to come back this afternoon. Unreal experience and just plain unprofessional. All of the sighing, slamming objects, and talk about unsanitary! I had to wipe off the toilet seat because it had urine on it. Just gross...I was under the impression they had to clean it after every person. This place is just a horrible business.

Incompetent
February 25, 2022

Simply put, the phlebotomists are incompetent. I have been trying to get my blood drawn for three days now, each time i fast, I drink plenty of water, I'm patient until they start trying to get blood from a vein in my hand, moving it all around as if they were "so close" they clearly try and go for what they can see instead of feel. Seriously, spare yourself and go anywhere but labcorp.

I had blood work done at my doctor's office and they sent the samples to LabCorp for testing. I owed $29 which I failed to pay in what they considered an acceptable amount of time. You'd think I had a personal loan or redit card through them with the wording on the collection letter they sent me. They attacked me on a personal level, saying "We did not ignore your doctor's request for lab work or question your credit, yet you have ignored our request for payment." Seriously?!?! For $29?!?!? Big $#*! YOU to LabCorp for their way of thinking. This is not how you treat people who are having testing done for health related issues. You have no idea what they could be going through. Absolutely disgusting.
I sure hope that whopping $29 was worth you kicking someone who is already down and struggling due to their health related issues. You should be ashamed. A lesson in compassion and how to PROPERLY address outstanding bills would do you well.

Super slow service
May 21, 2021

This is a regular issue
Make an appointment at certain time and they call you in after 1 hr or longer.
I do not understand why to bother and schedule an appointment when you still have to wait so long to be call back.

Incompetent personal
January 4, 2022

I needed to redraw my blood two times because of their mistakes. They didn't freeze my plasma that's why the test couldn't be performed. The customer service is no help! When I came again instead of being understandable and sorry they were mean and made me wait forever

Terrible experience
June 11, 2020

I would have rated LabCorp zero stars if it was an option. The receptionist at the counter was rude too me along with the gentleman that was before me in line. They also were not following social distancing guidelines, chairs were not six feet apart. Not only was I disappointed with the way I was treated by the staff but I did not feel safe in the overcrowded waiting area. If possible, I recommend using another company.

I am not leaving the country or getting on a plane, entering a Federal Building. So what's the point! I am born and raised USA citizen and am totally offended by this tactic... Besides your front office staff at the South Street, Lakewood, CA address is the most rude individuals If ever encountered... And I have spent 60 years working in Medical Offices and still do... We would replace any one that does not have any compassion for the Elderly and Ill

I just had my first lab draw at the LabCorp office on Bob Hope Dr in Rancho Mirage CA.
It was a pleasure and must say the nurse who drew my blood was sincerely caring, respectful and so polite that I felt it necessary to tell as many people as possible. Kind, considerate caring people really need to be recognized.
Kudos for making it a wonderful experience!
Thank You
Sure do wish I knew the nurses name who did the blood draw?

During COVid, LabCorp sent a threat to turn us into collections due to having a "seriously" overdue account. The fact is we made payments on the HUGE bills during COVID to make sure we were in good standing. Without any income coming in, the minimum amount we paid was $100. All other payments were more. They would rather get the money in one payment than to let us spread it out. It is my opinion, that they don't care about people, and by looking at there website, they are only on a big sales push to sell their COVID tests. We have spent thousands at this lab over the years and have always paid. I would not recommend never using them. I'm not surprised by the low overall rating.

Horrible experience
October 26, 2018

First, you have to do their job on the reception. I guess they expect everyone to be computer literate. Secondly, if they have to assist anyone? Well, now they are more rude. And then, they discuss your financial business in front of everyone and even though you have insurance they will not do the test unless you pay some up front. I never heard of anything like this.
