I have only worn them once so far and I am in love! It is so nice to be able to see while wearing sunglasses! These are my first pair of prescription sunglasses ever and it makes it even better they are my favorite frame that I wore all the time! I am so glad a company like this exists I am so picky with my sunglasses frames style so I am so glad they use your frames! The lenses themselves feel like way better quality than the plastic ones it came with and the overall look is exactly how I wanted it's not too dark but not too light I can easier see the stuff I want and not the sun lol. I have a pair of expensive sunglasses that I wanted to have prescription lenses for. This company was able to do that for me. They are perfect and they even adjusted the frames so they fit better then when I originally bought them. Very pleased with the ease of the process and quality of my new sunglasses!
I couldn't find anyone to replace the lenses in my 1970's vintage frames. I looked everywhere and even sent them off to a different lens company. They said it couldn't be done. I sent them to lensabl, expecting the same response, but just received them back. They are fantastic! I am so pleased with the excellent communication and customer service. I ordered my Bose Tempo prescription lenses and frames from your company on 12/31/20. They arrived four weeks later on 2/3/21-- which is the longest I've ever had to wait for prescription glasses. Once they arrived, I could not see out of them and had to send them back to have them redone. I sent them back on 2/24/21. The customer service representative said it should take a week once received. On March 9, I reached out to your company. The rep said that they should be done by the end of the week-- which would have been a 3/12 shipping date. Ultimately, the glasses were not delivered back to me until 4/7/21. And when they were sent back, your company failed to return all of my original packaging which included the Bose Tempo case, original box and original lenses. I can now see out of the glasses. Your technicians did a good job this time. However, I am livid that my original packaging and case were not returned! I really need the custom case and that it took much longer than I ever anticipated! Apparently, there is a lack of quality control at your company. I was excited about the prospect of using you for my prescription lenses. But, after this experience, I do not intend to use Lensabl again. This was a $600 purchase, and I expected much better service! And just in case this site does not show the correct number of stars, I gave them 1 star!
I ordered transition lenses for a vintage pair of glasses. Lensabl has excellent service reps who responded to questions so nicely and they were pretty speedy with production, but I'm really disappointed because the lenses don't darken to the darkest color on the color chart they provided. I opted for amber and in full sun they are only the second yellowish color pictured on the chart, not even close to the 4th color indicated. I can't decide if it's worth trying to get them exchanged for brown, but without actual pictures of lenses I don't know if I can trust those will transition any differently/darker. I wish lensabl had provided a more realistic/honest expectation of what lenses would look like. They give great service but for almost $200 I feel pretty unhappy.
I sent two frames and received two frames, except only one of the finished frames was mine. It has now been more than a month sent I first sent in my frames. Now I am left wondering how long it will take before I receive satisfaction. I guess I can hope my second frame will be returned? I guess Lensabl will offer me a refund? I guess, I guess, I guess...

I have used Lensabl twice before and got great service and a quality product back. When I got my new prescription I used them again. This time, when I tried on my glasses, I saw double. I went to the prescribing doctor and he said the prescription was too strong and lessened it. I asked him if they would fill it for me and he said most companies that fill them will. Just tell Lensabl your prescription changed and there should be no problem. After some difficulty contacting them, (no phone number, but they did try to call me and didn't get me...) I was told that they could only offer me a 25 % discount on the refill. I think they should either have redone the lenses or given me at least half off. Now I'm out $277 and stuck with glasses I cannot see out of.
So far very bad, they said they delivered my order when I didn't and then tried to talk to them for information nobody answered if they don rrsolve my issue i will get my refund and never again business whit them
The Lensabl experience with Stoggles was pretty good. Bought the Stoggles, were delivered to me, then I had to ship them to Lensabl, then there was some kind of manufacturing glitch which delayed the lenses (but they caught the problem, nod to them), then ship to me. Would be a lot easier if the Stoggle ppl send the frames to lensable, or better have lensable stock the Stoggles - there's only one size, in only a few colors.
But other than the 'living life thru a fisheye lens experience' with the progressive prescription lenses - my first time with them - the prescription seems to be spot on and the lack of line is less tiring for many things (tho awful for working with a screen). And the Stoggles are great for protecting the eyes. They were delivered just as I was doing some angle-grinding on wood that normally gets small bits of sawdust in my eyes; with the Stoggles, no such irritation.
This site upgraded my star rating - I gave them 4 stars, the site apparently upped it by one.
Got to say, you guys did a great job, truly like the quality and the prescription on these lenses. Will be sending in more of my frames to get done by you guys.

I was very happy to receive my order within a reasonable amount of time and the prescription was good. However, I paid extra for the fog resistant coating and they fog like crazy. I work at a hospital and specifically got Stoggles for the anti-fog lenses and because we are required to wear eye protection with coverings on the top and sides. I had hoped lensabl anti-fog coating would be on par with Stoggles, but it apparently either doesn't work or they forgot to put it on my lenses. Such a disappointment as I spent $200 for a new pair of lenses (not covered by insurance) when I will have to go back to wearing my non-prescription goggles at work. I can't work if I can't see.
TERRIBLE Quality Control, EVEN WORSE customer service.
Needed glasses for spring interviews so figured I would give Lensabl a try. Ordered lenses in January 2021 with an estimated completion time of up to 2 weeks. After several weeks of waiting, I was notified that due to a lab error they needed to remake the lenses so there would be a delay. After waiting 45 days, I received the lenses, made INCORRECTLY. Sent a picture to customer service who took several days to respond and instructed me to return the lenses, which I did the same day. Over a week later, I received an update that the lab would not make the lenses, now claiming it was a different frame. Again I resent a picture proving they were the same, and asking what they could offer me for their mistakes and extremely slow turn around (3 months after order). Customer service never so much as replied, instead returning the frames, now with the demo lenses put back in.
In the many years I have gone to Lenscrafters, the single time they made a mistake not only did they make an additional new pair of lenses at no cost, but issued a full refund for the order. Don't waste your time with Lensabl and just go to Lenscrafters - they will make your lenses correctly in 24-48 hours, and actually treat you like a valued customer.
I basically had 4 pairs of glasses Lensabl was given 2 glasses whose needed lens replaced, Lensabl and returned the completed before I got a mailer from their competitors. They are superior in their service

Answer: I purchased some really awesome vintage glasses with octagonal black plastic frames made in France, probably from the late 1960s or early 1970s. I was so excited to have them made into sunglasses. I took them to my local optical shop and was told, "I hope you didn't spend much on these because you wasted your money. No one will touch frames this old, because the plastic is so brittle it will just shatter." I was so disappointed. I tossed them in a drawer and forgot about them for a few months. Then I saw an ad for Lensabl online. I contacted them and asked if they could work with vintage frames, and the answer was "No problem!" I was nervous to send the frames in but figured I didn't have anything to lose. I just received the glasses back in the mail today (two weeks from when I mailed them in), and they are incredible! The frames were cleaned and straightened, and the new lenses are perfect. I love them so much. Thanks, Lensabl!
Answer: They clearly don't have the infrastructure set up to be in this business where each frame is a customer order. In cases like they they are not staffed with customer services that can be actually helpful which only result in wrongly made glasses. They broke my glasses and are not trying to it at all. I posted review on here before and then it just disappeared for some reason, I'm not sure if they are paying people to get rid of negative reviews.
