I've ordered twice before. The first pair had some vision issues, so they were very nice, covered shipping to/from and fixed them no problem. The second time - no problems at all. Vision was spot on the first time. This third and last time, I had placed glasses in my cart but apparently I chose the wrong type. Considering I had ordered from them before, always progressive, with only a progressive lens... I would have thought I would be contacted if there were any questions. I received the glasses unbeknownst to me the original order was wrong, and noticed there was not a millimeter of clear sight on these lenses. I contacted Customer Service who 2 business days later said they would have to investigate and get back with me. 2 more days later someone else responds stating they need all these facial shots with and without my glasses on. Needless to say, another 2 days go by and he tells me I needed to have the glasses I just bought on in the pictures then also shares the "Return Policy" at my expense plus a $25 restocking fee which was to expire in 5 days. I'm high risk, work from home and needed to arrange things in order to ship these back.
Read the fine print. I ended up finding a better company, lower prices and much better website ordering system.

I want to say that in all the years of dealing with online companies I've never seen such a put together a professional online store with such wonderful staff. I am a general and laparoscopic surgeon and I wear non-prescription glasses for eye protection or as we say PPE in the operating room. I have certain frames that I like but because laparoscopy involves looking at a screen for most of the day I decided to try the blue blocking computer lenses. Well the company makes it very easy in terms of getting your frames they're letting you know where they are at all times and being very honest about the timeframe. Technically the work they did was absolutely beautiful The lenses fit perfectly in the frames. They are clear and the visualization is beautiful. There is minimal if any discernible hue in the Lenz unlike other computer glasses. In fact to the entire world they look transparent. The quality is fabulous. Most importantly because this occurred early in the pandemic I had to speak a few times with staff. Each time I couldn't believe how helpful, nice, sweet, personable and expeditiously responsive they were. They are wonderful humans and they run a fabulous company. I have recommended it friends and family and suggest it be "the" way lenses be replaced for all. From the staff, to the product, to the very boxes and accessories they use-Lensabl is a class act! I should never have sent you my Stoggles. It took you 6wks to put in my prescription lenses and when I finally got it, it was not anti-fog anymore! I have to spray it with an activator product everytime! I asked for the original lenses that my Stoggles came with and you still have not gotten back to me. Please ask for the pupillary distance as your customers send you the presciption so it won't add another 4wks of delay in the delivery unless you do that on purpose.
Had new prescription lens put into a pair of Ray Ban frames (daddyO) Glasses arrived today, they are perfect. Process took longer than expected (Conn is a long way from Calif) In hind sight I should have mailed in my frames instead of requesting a box, I'm very pleased with the results.
I've had them for a few hours, and they are already stuffed into a drawer. I'll replace the lenses someday. For now, I have to look down in order to see. They are of no use whatsoever.
I purchase NOS vintage glasses from etsy. I have a very high Rx, so it is difficult to find someone to place lenses in these frames. Lensabl did a fantastic job with my Rx and transition lenses!
I sent my frames in and they were received the next day. This was weeks ago. I noticed with the online tracker that it had been sitting at the final stage saying 2 business days to shipping for about 4 days. Upon my second email to check in I was first told that it should only be another day or so, then when I emailed again I was told the lenses were rejected and sent back to the lab to be redone and at max it would be 2-3 business days. The morning after I received that email I checked the online tracker and it now says 5-7 business days. This will put me well over a month or so since sending these glasses in. Yes they are "cheaper" then having an optometrist swap lenses out but I can understand taking a couple of weeks but a month? The worst part about this is there is literally nobody to talk to. Just an email where honestly I feel like it could be anybody including a bot responding to me. I'm a little wary now that they have my 700 dollar frames and there's really nothing I can do but wait. I had hoped to use them for several other family members glasses but given the lack of consistent timelines and inconsistencies between email responses and online tracking I won't be going this route again. Really hoping I receive my glasses and they look ok considering how long they've had them for. I will update this review when/if I receive them.
Decided to order some glasses for use when using my computer or iPad.
Armed with a new prescription I thought I'd try Lensabl. The prices and basic styles offered seemed competitive so I provided my prescription info and selected frames.
The first alarm went off when my order confirmation showed black frames while I had ordered grey! Lensabl responded reasonably quickly confirming that they corrected the order error.
About a week later I received shipping notification of my glasses. Their tracking system never worked but my glasses arrived a few days later.
Guess what? They were black frames! Even the shipping info confirmed the grey I had ordered.
When I contacted customer "no support" their best recommendation was for them to send me the correct frames and for me to do their job by removing the lenses from the black frames and installing them in the grey frames (what could possibly go wrong?) Then they wanted me to ship back the black frames!
I opted to keep the wrong frames and lenses and NEVER DO BUSINESS with Lensabl again!
My experience was great and smooth. The transaction took solid 3 weeks to finish- from ordering to sending them the frames, then receiving the graded glasses! I LOVED it! The prescription is correct!

Even though my order was first made in error, Lensabl was prompt to resolve the issue and re-do my order to the correct specifications. Even though only available via e-mail and chat, I am impressed with how quickly the customer service agents are to respond to inquiries and resolve issues. I did receive the corrected final product a few days ago and my only issue was the with the lens thickness and edge rolling (not super smooth and visible close up), but nothing warranting a redo or complaint. I likely should have ordered a thinner lens/Trivex vs. the polycarbonate material like I have on previous custom lens orders since I had ordered a transitions lens. That's more on me, though. Overall, I am content with how the order turned out and Lensabl is fairly reasonably priced in comparison to purchasing through your ophthalmologist's office. They are much more professional and legitimate than most other online eyeglass and lens retailers and their labs are efficient and prompt. Much better customer servicing, too. I would be inclined to purchase lenses through them again and recommend this site to others.
Well, it was something! I think over 10 back and fourth e-mails. Several times i was forwarded shipping dates, which weren't true. No shipping conformation, all of a sudden, they came.

I was so excited to have them made into sunglasses. I took them to my local optical shop and was told, "I hope you didn't spend much on these because you wasted your money. No one will touch frames this old, because the plastic is so brittle it will just shatter." I was so disappointed. I tossed them in a drawer and forgot about them for a few months. Then I saw an ad for Lensabl online. I contacted them and asked if they could work with vintage frames, and the answer was "No problem!" I was nervous to send the frames in but figured I didn't have anything to lose. I just received the glasses back in the mail today (two weeks from when I mailed them in), and they are incredible! The frames were cleaned and straightened, and the new lenses are perfect. I love them so much. Thanks, Lensabl!
Answer: They clearly don't have the infrastructure set up to be in this business where each frame is a customer order. In cases like they they are not staffed with customer services that can be actually helpful which only result in wrongly made glasses. They broke my glasses and are not trying to it at all. I posted review on here before and then it just disappeared for some reason, I'm not sure if they are paying people to get rid of negative reviews.
Answer: Transitions take an upwards of 30 seconds to Transition. The weather conditions can impact the Transition time. Brighter and warmer outside conditions= transitions faster.
