Good condition when I got them
I would give them a 2.5 star if I could because this is one of the worst customer support teams I've come across. It takes days to get any response, it's never answered the first time, and I have to follow up multiple times over several days in the same thread to get any questions answered. Their redeeming factor is they actually do have a good product with good pricing and the support people are nice when they do respond. I'm trying to get a second set, but seriously reconsidering because of how long it takes to get my question answered on "will lenses fit into these other frames?". It also takes about 25 days from sending to receiving lenses and the portal is not very accurate in the progress section. Buyer be warned depending on which factors are important to you.
I sent my frames in in early December to get new lenses, it took a long time to get them back, I think I got them right around the end of the year or in January. When I pulled them out of the box I put them on I noticed there is some thing weird about them, I had them up to the light and they had tiny scratches all across the lenses.
I reached out to customer support and let them know that I'm gonna need to be getting replacement lenses and something must've happened this wasn't right, it took a very long time for them to get back to me, and then they tried to charge me for shipping to send them back, at which point I just asked for my money back. Apparently when I did that they just sent me a shipping label, I asked them to expedite the process if possible because I needed the glasses, they ignored me and took another three weeks. I use their online tracker and the whole time it said they arrived at the facility, no updates. I checked in with support for an update like once A week, and when they finally would get back to me, which would take between three and five days on average, they were extremely unhelpful and kept telling me should just be another couple of days.
Moral of the story, there's no phone number listed and when you ask for one nobody answers the one they give you, if somethings wrong with your order you're gonna be waiting a long time to get it fixed and made right. Once the lenses finally came back the second time they were great, but they showed up yesterday February 7 and I started working with them the first week in December so a process that shouldn't take this long, with this little communication.
Following cataract surgery, my prescription changed dramatically. I could drive well, but I couldn't read the numbers on a the dashboard. I became astigmatic so I saw double characters in full light. I depend on my eyes a as a pilot, and as a doctor, I had very survivable frames, and replacing the lens seemed and intuitive easy process... three months, a second trip to a local optometrist for an additional measurement, and 12 messages back and fourth to the company, my glasses arrived.
Two sets of boxes from lendable were lost, so I packed my own, I took photos and gave the name foreach frame with instruction to avoid confusion... the instructions were lost. Three and one half weeks after they agreed to place the lens on priority, they arrived.
My local opticians lab could not, or would not, make lens for my old frames. In retrospect I'd pay for new frames and faster service and star local,

The process was so easy, much less expensive than buying a whole new pair, and the lenses themselves are great!

I received my new lenses in my old frame and although I can see very well with them, every time I wear them I get a terrible headache and have to take them off with in a short time. I don't know if they frames were tightened when I sent them in or if my head is getting fat, lol but I can't wear these glasses because they give me such a headache that I feel nauseous, which makes me very sad.
Once Order was placed, I was able to check order progress in the webpage, but it kept showing incorrect information, moving from step 2 to step 4 then, step 2 again, etc. My order was received 1 month after I placed my order. I ordered Anti-reflective glasses with Xtractive Transition. I received regular Transition, and the lenses reflect too much, to the outside (people see themselves) and inside (I can see my own eyes reflected).
Very disappointing after the long wait.
I love my new Stoggles! I quickly sent them in for my lenses to be put in by Lensabl. The directions & shipping were sooo easy with the pre-paid label. The whole process took less than 1 week!
However, my lenses are the wrong RX. I had sent in my RX with my Stoggles with explicit directions for Bi-focal lenses. But my glasses are only fitted with the whole lens being corrected to 1.75, not bi-focals as requested! I am an ER nurse & need bi-focals to read labels but also see faces & walk around the ER. I am hoping that this issue can be corrected quickly as I love, love, LOVE my Stoggles & want to be able to use them soon! The lenses from Lensabl are crystal clear & the correction is perfect, I just need the clear upper portion of the lens to make them work for me! Thank you for a wonderful product!

Bought my Stoggles and was easily able to send them to Lensabl to have custom lenses put in them. Uploaded my prescription with my PD on it, and the glasses match everything on the prescription very well. I will more than likely use lensabl for my other frames I haven't been able to use in a while. I love that they will send you a box with little boxes in it to protect your glasses during transit!

As someone who has multiple glasses and requires new lenses almost every year with every new prescription, Lensabl is a great alternative as opposed to paying 3x more for new glasses. Their lenses are not only affordable but the quality is also great. However, their service is even better, I recently had two pairs of similar-looking glasses, both round and rimless with delicate frames and I wanted to ensure the larger lens on one pair would be cut for the other pair. Luckily I had Jayme who ensured that my unusual request was fulfilled but also gave me timely updates with a great degree of professionalism and pleasantness which is something I am a stickler on having worked in high-end hotels such as the Waldorf Astoria.
A little pricy for the lenses I wanted, but the service was fast and efficient and easy and it saved buying a new frame.
I was extremely happy that I could get my favorite eyeglass frames updated to match my new prescription I very decent price! Lensabl's service was quick, efficient and one of the best experiences I had when getting glasses. I highly recommend them!

I received a pair of Bose speaker sunglasses for Christmas, and wanted to change out the lens for prescription. Got a recommendation for Lensabl, and took a leap of faith to send off my new glasses. While the company says it receives and completes their orders normally in 4-7 days, my order took around 3 weeks from when I sent it to when I received my glasses back. I was very frustrated because I was to leave for 3 months and wanted to have these for my trip. Several emails back and forth with customer service yielded quick responses AND explanations as to the delay (while admitting to me that this was unusually long to process). I was grateful for their offer to send them overnight once completed - and I received them the day before we left! Kudos to their great work - I realize that their reputation is in creating a perfect finished product, and they will delay your receipt of the glasses until their QC is met! I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for quality work.
Answer: I was not so lucky and have had a horrible experience withLensabl. After two months I'm still waiting for progressive lenses that cost over $600 and Neither my frames nor the lenses I ordered are back to me. Next time I will use a local eyewear store.

Answer: I purchased some really awesome vintage glasses with octagonal black plastic frames made in France, probably from the late 1960s or early 1970s. I was so excited to have them made into sunglasses. I took them to my local optical shop and was told, "I hope you didn't spend much on these because you wasted your money. No one will touch frames this old, because the plastic is so brittle it will just shatter." I was so disappointed. I tossed them in a drawer and forgot about them for a few months. Then I saw an ad for Lensabl online. I contacted them and asked if they could work with vintage frames, and the answer was "No problem!" I was nervous to send the frames in but figured I didn't have anything to lose. I just received the glasses back in the mail today (two weeks from when I mailed them in), and they are incredible! The frames were cleaned and straightened, and the new lenses are perfect. I love them so much. Thanks, Lensabl!
Answer: They clearly don't have the infrastructure set up to be in this business where each frame is a customer order. In cases like they they are not staffed with customer services that can be actually helpful which only result in wrongly made glasses. They broke my glasses and are not trying to it at all. I posted review on here before and then it just disappeared for some reason, I'm not sure if they are paying people to get rid of negative reviews.
Answer: Transitions take an upwards of 30 seconds to Transition. The weather conditions can impact the Transition time. Brighter and warmer outside conditions= transitions faster.
