I placed my order and waited for a while, then contacted the company because the order status still said "expecting to ship in 6 days." Customer service explained that the glasses had been finished but failed a quality control test so they were being redone. They arrived today and they're just perfect! It has been 40 days since my prescription sunglasses were received by the Lensabl lab. At day 18, having checked the status of this order for replacement lenses on the Lensabl website, I saw that the status of production had not moved for many days. I emailed the customer service team to ask what was going on. I was only then informed that my lenses were broken by the lab. This was surprising, considering these sunglasses frames are designed for easy lens replacement, as well as the fact I had to contact Lensabl to find this out. I provided a link to replacement lenses for the same model, and was informed that Lensabl would order these free of charge. Over 20 days later, I have still not received this order, and my attempt to contact customer service via email has gone unanswered for 5 days. I could have ordered a completely new pair of these frames with new prescription lenses and received them weeks ago at this point, for not all that much more money. I now regret doing business with this company, as I am out $177 and a previously good pair of prescription sunglasses.

I ordered a pair for Bose Tempo Lens because Lensabl is the preferred dealer, but when they arrived they were over 1mm out of spec and did not fit in the frame. Very disappointing and now I have to deal with returning them.
Easy to do, great quality, fair price. The only suggestion I would make is regarding shipping- it's kind of a pain to go to the post office and buy the right type of box to send your frames in.

I'm a little disappointed in the lenses I received. Mainly the right and left seem to be different. On my right side I see more red/warm colors and the left side does not do that. Subsequently the glasses are unpleasant to wear. Especially when I look at a computer screen. My right side is warm when the left isn't. I took a picture of the lenses and you could see they're different colored lenses -- attached. I would love the same glasses without the sun shade prescription -- just regular prescription -- if this is going to be the case.
The procedure and shipping were both quick, the lens are of good quality. Very satisfied with my purchase.
I'm very pleased with my purchase. I didn't get the box insert to hold my extra lenses. The extra lenses were just placed in the boxes lose. I will contact your company to get the insert. This is necessary to prevent scratches when the extra lenses are in use. I think it was accidentally left out by mistake
Simple and easy. I like updating lenses in my existing frames because I don't want to shop, try-on, send back frames when I have some that I already like. Arrived in the mail in perfect condition and they are perfect and seem high quality. My only wish was that turnaround was faster.

Getting the completed glasses took longer than I've grown accustomed to, but I also 1) Sent them in around the holidays (I assume they were slammed), and 2) in the midst of the COVID pandemic, so not a big issue for me. If you need glasses in a hurry though... this may not be the solution for you.
It took 5 weeks for the lenses to be made when the faq said to expect 4-7 days for them and I had no way to know what to expect because they never told me what was going on, I checked my order and it was stuck on "final production estimated time to ship three days" for a full week. I had to email them and ask what was going on to learn my lenses failed a final test and were being remade.
I had Maui jim frames I bought at local doctors. They also added the lens for me. My prescription changed so I wanted to reuse the frame. I am beyond pleased with the quality. Before with Original lenses they creaked and made noises. I thought that's how it was suppose to be. Now they are flush and tight and don't make a sound when wearing or cleaning. I can honestly say I trust lensabl more than any doctors office. These people are professionals and my frames came back to me flawless. Wow
Great lenses! Good value! Only problem was I shipped the frames in my Bose case and it was not returned. The case the provided can't be used either my Bose tempo frame. Would like my case back.
First time customer. I had sent out an old used pair of glasses for new lenses. Customer service was so helpful making sure I had the right pictures to get the proper outcome. Lensabl sent me a box to ship out and let me know when it got there. It got done in a timely manner, about 3 weeks. The result was good as new and just as nice as some of the pairs I have gotten done at optical shops. Very impressed and I would use again.
The lenses give nice clarity and love the red shading on them, it gives nice aesthetic. Slight fish bowl perspective from the eyes when wearing them but I think I just need to get used to these. The red coating and crizal coating are peeling off on the bottom corners and needs to be redone properly. I would hope a lensabl rep contacts me about this so they can hopefully correct the issue as I really would love this. If not I'd be happy to contact as well. On picture it's hard to capture the issue but in person, it's VERY noticeable. Its an eyesore that is quickly noticed. If this problem were to be resolved I'd re rate this to 5 stars since the quality is pretty good.
I did initially receive the glasses one lens had the correct prescription, but the other lens was made with a completely incorrect prescription. Lensabl took it back and corrected it and now the glasses are fine. I am now a happy customer.
Answer: I was not so lucky and have had a horrible experience withLensabl. After two months I'm still waiting for progressive lenses that cost over $600 and Neither my frames nor the lenses I ordered are back to me. Next time I will use a local eyewear store.

Answer: I purchased some really awesome vintage glasses with octagonal black plastic frames made in France, probably from the late 1960s or early 1970s. I was so excited to have them made into sunglasses. I took them to my local optical shop and was told, "I hope you didn't spend much on these because you wasted your money. No one will touch frames this old, because the plastic is so brittle it will just shatter." I was so disappointed. I tossed them in a drawer and forgot about them for a few months. Then I saw an ad for Lensabl online. I contacted them and asked if they could work with vintage frames, and the answer was "No problem!" I was nervous to send the frames in but figured I didn't have anything to lose. I just received the glasses back in the mail today (two weeks from when I mailed them in), and they are incredible! The frames were cleaned and straightened, and the new lenses are perfect. I love them so much. Thanks, Lensabl!
Answer: They clearly don't have the infrastructure set up to be in this business where each frame is a customer order. In cases like they they are not staffed with customer services that can be actually helpful which only result in wrongly made glasses. They broke my glasses and are not trying to it at all. I posted review on here before and then it just disappeared for some reason, I'm not sure if they are paying people to get rid of negative reviews.
Answer: Transitions take an upwards of 30 seconds to Transition. The weather conditions can impact the Transition time. Brighter and warmer outside conditions= transitions faster.
