Lensabl has garnered a reputation for providing high-quality lenses and a convenient service for replacing lenses in existing frames, with many customers expressing satisfaction with the product quality and the speed of delivery. However, concerns have been raised regarding customer service responsiveness, particularly during issue resolution, as well as occasional discrepancies in prescription accuracy. While many customers appreciate the transparency and communication throughout the process, there are notable frustrations related to the handling of returns and remakes. Overall, Lensabl is viewed positively, though improvements in customer support could enhance the overall experience.

Was looking for a mail order experience and got just what I wanted. Fast, pleasant service
The title of the review says it all. I've tried various online services and some might be a tad cheaper but their process is murky and customer service is often nonexistent. I'll be using Lensabl for all future orders from now on.
The process of shipping my frames to lensable was easy. When I received them with my new lenses, it was all well packaged. I'm very happy with my new lenses. Glad they could use the frames I sent them!
Sent in Caddis frames with clear lenses to be replaced with prescription lenses.
Great results! Transition lenses work and I can see!
The time taken was too long.
My right eye/lens is perfect, but left eye/lens is blurred and not great. I cannot say whether the prescription is incorrect or the lens is incorrect.
I love the process and will try it again. The price was competitive.
I sent Lensabl my old favorite readers that have been sitting around because of the cost to have my eye clinic replace the lenses. They are lightweight and comfy and I just like them a lot. Lensabl put new lenses in them and they are perfect; I'm wearing them right now. In addition I was able to get the tint to help with computer/phone light so they're better than original. I definitely will use Lensabl again when I need to update a pair of glasses.
I needed prescription lenses for my Bose frames. The process was very easy. I just wish there was some mention that "fog defender" spray doesn't work on your lenses unlike ones I have purchased from other companies, so I am docking one star for this.
I forgot I had m glasses box in my closet. It was sitting in my closet for two years. I forgot to ship it out. I contacted customer service and and they still had my records on file. I shipped out my glasses and received them back in a matter of two weeks with new lenses.
I had previously used Lenscrafters but had all sorts of issues with the glasses they sent to me (I ended up getting a refund). Lensabl really delivered. Not only were the glasses exactly what I wanted, but they were also less expensive than comparable ones at Lenscrafters. They came fairly quickly and the quality is very very good. My only issue is the measuring of PD. I mean seriously... a card with a magnetic strip?!? Even in the video, the person didn't show the card for the same reason I would not (it's pretty easy to read off all the info you need to steal a C/C or whatever card you use. That is just a lawsuit waiting to happen (somebody is going to do it and have their info stolen. And whether Lensabl is to blame or not they will have a decent case).
This company absolutely sucks. It took almost 3 months to receive my glasses. I had to send them back the first time because it came with scratches allll over the lenses. Save your time and money and go somewhere else. On top of that, I expressed my opinion on their Instagram comments and they deleted it! So much for freedom of speech.
I got sunglasses for my brother for his birthday, and they turned out great! The polished edges were definitely worth it, and he loves them:)
Customer service was awesome too!
It was an easy painless experience having my lenses replaced! Thank you!
Send your old glasses with Rx and within a couple weeks they come back with quality new lenses and in nice, new cases. It's probably is bad for local businesses but they need to compete or fail. Also didn't have to wear a worthless covid mask!
Lensabl always does such a great job of following my directions and creating the glasses I want!
Customer service was quick to answer my questions. No issues with the product and quality of my lenses and my frames were handled in perfect care.
Asking a question and getting a response typically takes several days turnaround. Add on top that my glasses were lost for a few weeks.
Good condition when I got them
I would give them a 2.5 star if I could because this is one of the worst customer support teams I've come across. It takes days to get any response, it's never answered the first time, and I have to follow up multiple times over several days in the same thread to get any questions answered. Their redeeming factor is they actually do have a good product with good pricing and the support people are nice when they do respond. I'm trying to get a second set, but seriously reconsidering because of how long it takes to get my question answered on "will lenses fit into these other frames?". It also takes about 25 days from sending to receiving lenses and the portal is not very accurate in the progress section. Buyer be warned depending on which factors are important to you.
I sent my frames in in early December to get new lenses, it took a long time to get them back, I think I got them right around the end of the year or in January. When I pulled them out of the box I put them on I noticed there is some thing weird about them, I had them up to the light and they had tiny scratches all across the lenses.
I reached out to customer support and let them know that I'm gonna need to be getting replacement lenses and something must've happened this wasn't right, it took a very long time for them to get back to me, and then they tried to charge me for shipping to send them back, at which point I just asked for my money back. Apparently when I did that they just sent me a shipping label, I asked them to expedite the process if possible because I needed the glasses, they ignored me and took another three weeks. I use their online tracker and the whole time it said they arrived at the facility, no updates. I checked in with support for an update like once A week, and when they finally would get back to me, which would take between three and five days on average, they were extremely unhelpful and kept telling me should just be another couple of days.
Moral of the story, there's no phone number listed and when you ask for one nobody answers the one they give you, if somethings wrong with your order you're gonna be waiting a long time to get it fixed and made right. Once the lenses finally came back the second time they were great, but they showed up yesterday February 7 and I started working with them the first week in December so a process that shouldn't take this long, with this little communication.
Following cataract surgery, my prescription changed dramatically. I could drive well, but I couldn't read the numbers on a the dashboard. I became astigmatic so I saw double characters in full light. I depend on my eyes a as a pilot, and as a doctor, I had very survivable frames, and replacing the lens seemed and intuitive easy process... three months, a second trip to a local optometrist for an additional measurement, and 12 messages back and fourth to the company, my glasses arrived.
Two sets of boxes from lendable were lost, so I packed my own, I took photos and gave the name foreach frame with instruction to avoid confusion... the instructions were lost. Three and one half weeks after they agreed to place the lens on priority, they arrived.
My local opticians lab could not, or would not, make lens for my old frames. In retrospect I'd pay for new frames and faster service and star local,
Answer: I was not so lucky and have had a horrible experience withLensabl. After two months I'm still waiting for progressive lenses that cost over $600 and Neither my frames nor the lenses I ordered are back to me. Next time I will use a local eyewear store.
Answer: They falsely boosted about putting new lenses in existing frames (in a very short turn around like a week) not the 8 months it's been
Answer: Once your frames arrive at our lab, assuming you've provided all required Rx information, lens production is 4-7 business days on average before shipping
Answer: I purchased some really awesome vintage glasses with octagonal black plastic frames made in France, probably from the late 1960s or early 1970s. I was so excited to have them made into sunglasses. I took them to my local optical shop and was told, "I hope you didn't spend much on these because you wasted your money. No one will touch frames this old, because the plastic is so brittle it will just shatter." I was so disappointed. I tossed them in a drawer and forgot about them for a few months. Then I saw an ad for Lensabl online. I contacted them and asked if they could work with vintage frames, and the answer was "No problem!" I was nervous to send the frames in but figured I didn't have anything to lose. I just received the glasses back in the mail today (two weeks from when I mailed them in), and they are incredible! The frames were cleaned and straightened, and the new lenses are perfect. I love them so much. Thanks, Lensabl!
Answer: They clearly don't have the infrastructure set up to be in this business where each frame is a customer order. In cases like they they are not staffed with customer services that can be actually helpful which only result in wrongly made glasses. They broke my glasses and are not trying to it at all. I posted review on here before and then it just disappeared for some reason, I'm not sure if they are paying people to get rid of negative reviews.
Answer: Transitions take an upwards of 30 seconds to Transition. The weather conditions can impact the Transition time. Brighter and warmer outside conditions= transitions faster.
Answer: I am having the same experience. Took my money, lost my frames and have done nothing on refund nor damages. I filed with BBB as well. Why are they still in business is a surprise to me?How many more consumers do they need to harm before they are fined and/or shut down?
Answer: All prices are in USD ($) but we do ship to Canada as well :)
Answer: Yes all of our lenses are guaranteed or we will re-make them if any issues once you receive them back. Thanks!
