Lensabl has garnered a reputation for providing high-quality lenses and a convenient service for replacing lenses in existing frames, with many customers expressing satisfaction with the product quality and the speed of delivery. However, concerns have been raised regarding customer service responsiveness, particularly during issue resolution, as well as occasional discrepancies in prescription accuracy. While many customers appreciate the transparency and communication throughout the process, there are notable frustrations related to the handling of returns and remakes. Overall, Lensabl is viewed positively, though improvements in customer support could enhance the overall experience.

Lensabl did a great job fitting my work googles with prescription lenses! They are perfect! The process was quick and seamless. I will definitely check into Lensabl when I'm ready to purchase new glasses again!
Ordering and delivery process were excellent! New lenses are great! Being able to utilize my current sunglasses frames with an updated prescription is a fantastic and cost effective!
I placed my order for three sets of glasses on 3/15 and didn't receive my order until 5/9. I contacted customer support several times during this period and was told on multiple occasions the glasses would be shipping in a few days while the wait kept stretching on.
When they finally did arrive the sunglass lenses o requested were put in the wrong frames. I had a good experience with lensabl the first time I ordered with them, but this was such a poor experience all around I don't think there will be a third time.
I sent in my Razer Anzus to get lenses made. The sign up and ordering process was very simple. The box arrived very quick and from there it took about 2 weeks total to ship and receive back.
Final result is perfect. The lenses look and function great. Excellent final product. They even included a custom case for my Glasses.
I would definitely recommend and use them again.
Turnaround time was fairly quick. I also love the packaging. I will definitely use Lensabl again and have already recommended them to friends.
Lenses for Bose Glasses: Overly large for Bose Glasses. Slow customer service. After returning first set of lenses because of improper operation along with a prescription, new lenses were made and they still do not work and are unusable. We request a full refund and will return the lenses. We take this matter up with Amazon or Bose if Lensable refuses. Order number paid through amazon is P01-**************. If I do not receive a response within 3 business days, I will turn the matter over to Bose, Amazon and Visa. I bought these as a gift and am very disappointed. Wife Catherine Stryker has been dealing on this issue. The case number is *******. I paid for them by Visa through Amazon Wife's email address is *******@gmail.com. Phone number is *******959. I cannot emphasize enough the slow responses. Can never reach a live person and have to keep calling to get a return call. When a refund was originally requested, we were refused as "we don't give refunds and will remake your lenses." What kind of logic is this? Make another bad set of lenses and cost yourself more money? Lenses are created individually, not an off the shelf item. We are thoroughly disgusted. Thank you for your attention for this matter.
Plusses: process to include photographs and scan of Rx is pretty clear. Selection of new frames manageable - not too many but not too few. Once lenses are made the 2-day priority mail works well.
Minuses: tool a while to get box for my frames. No customer service phone number to contact with questions. Had two pairs of glasses made and cannot see out of either. Have yet to hear back on emails. Will not recommend.
I am so happy with my new lenses (in my old frames)! My computer screen is clear and the glasses are comfortable (Lensabl also tightened the frames a bit so now they stay on my head!). I just had an eye exam and got new progressive lenses and glass frames, but I also needed a new pair for computer use and needed to find an affordable way to get those glasses. I had some older glass frames that were perfectly good and sent them to Lensabl with my new prescription and voila! I absolutely love the new (old frames) glasses - and it was an affordable alternative to getting a new pair of computer glasses at the vision shop. Thank you Lensabl. The only complaint I have is that it took much longer than I expected.
Ordered lenses on April 12th from Lensabl based on the partnership with Razer. I ordered Trivex Crizal lenses (about $235 with the 15% discount) as I wanted great optical clarity while working from home on a computer 10+ hours per day. I paid extra for for UPS next day shipping. The glasses arrived April 13th at the lab.
Sent the Razer Anzu frames in the original case I bought through Razer.com. The lenses did not pass quality inspection multiple times and I finally received them May 7th. The original Razer case is gone. Instead, they gave me one of the "lensabl" cases that doesn't fit the glasses correctly. Sent a customer service ticket immediately and haven't heard back about a day later.
I don't recall when I got these frames. At least 10 years ago now. They were my first bifocals with a line. I wore them for a couple years before I needed a stronger lower lens.
But I've never replaced them in my heart. I was never able to find frames I thought looked or fit so well. I'm so happy to have them back!
Although I used my own frames service could of been better... I've used this service before and the time received was longer than usual and my frames seems looser then before but nonetheless probably will use them again
I was uncertain about this process at first but in the end everything came out great! Sending in the glasses was quick and easy. However, once they arrived it took a very long time for them to start working on them. The online tracker doesn't reflect what they are doing and I didn't receive any updates. I was concerned that they had scammed me after a while but their customer service has a decent response time and they were very friendly and helpful. Once I received tracking that my glasses were on the way back shipping was very quick! Super happy with my new lenses.
After a second pair of frames and a long wait, I am happy with the glasses so far. I just got them last night and have not yet had a chance to use them in the sunlight.
This will be the test
Two orders made to your company have been extremely problematic. First of all, any company that doesn't have live customer service for this type of service is sketchy at best and just tells me that you don't want to deal with your responsibilities and most likely the tons of complaints. Both orders made with your company we're done precisely to the specifications laid out by your own personnel. Both times the service was horrible with little to no explanation on delays. The last order was confirmed to be for Tenor frames and it was expressly indicated that the lenses would be sent directly to me. This order was confirmed by staff but after almost a MONTH, I had to reach out to Lensabl to figure out what the delay was (for the second order straight). ONLY to find out that Lensabl disregarded the instructions and sat on the order to await my Tenor frames. Never once reaching out, but waiting for the customer to do the leg work. Not only that, because I didn't want to wait for days on end to get slow email responses, I waited for the chat service to be available but guess what…. That's broken too. I will be specifically telling everyone I know that when they get their frames go to a reputable lens service company and have them do it. The only reason I didn't blow up at your staff is because you of course already had my money (no incentive to perform professionally and responsibly because you already have what YOU want) and I didn't trust this company to make good on any orders since I had no leverage at this point and you already demonstrated how much your could screw up at this time on two separate orders. Then when you do send out the lenses, you send it in a reused box with a scraped up case where the lenses shifted around loosely inside because the padding wasn't even taped. Very nice…but most importantly, never again will I or anyone I know do business with you again.
I had to involve BBB to even get one of my three pairs finished.
I mailed in three pairs of glasses to them: 2 sunglass sets and 1 regular eyeglass set. It took them over a month to get back to me just ONE of the sunglass sets, they still have the other one plus the regular glasses
The regular set they damaged during working on it, and have not been providing any updates on the replacement frame status they ordered.
The sunglasses they sent back to me have lenses that don't match the originals. They are slightly wider and thicker. This has the side effect of stretching and damaging the frame. The prescription in them is wonky also, in that it only looks right if I stretch the frame out. It is almost as if they couldn't figure out how to make their lenses work in my Oakley sunglasses, and just tried to wedge them in there.
I am still waiting on the other pair of sunglasses to come back also.
The only way this company responds is via email, and emails take 2-3 days to hear back on, which is infuriating.
NOTE: I also specifically kept my original lenses when shipping my sunglasses, since this type of Oakleys they can pop out of. This would allow me to have a backup set. They took 2 weeks after the glasses arrived to notify me they needed the lenses and promised a return of them. I never got them back.
1st attempt - got back glasses where the axis for right lens was messed up (online specs didn't match uploaded prescription). Pretty sure I entered correctly... noticed multiple edit history from lensabl side; in any case, it missed quality check with the uploaded prescription.
2nd attempt - got back the REDO based on corrected axis, BUT things still out of focus unless I move my frames away from my face like half a centimeter. Some measurement is off.
So, now it's been many weeks and asking for a 3rd attempt to fix.
Would have been easier to just get brand new frames and lenses from Warby Parker (at least they have a refund policy).
Got blue-light filtering prescription lenses for my new smart glasses. Definitely happy with the product, but entering my prescription and getting the lenses back took a little over 3 weeks, which isn't ideal. Site had an issue where I couldn't manually correct my prescription submission and had to wait around 3 days to hear back from a rep to correct it. All-in-all a fair experience with a few hiccups that likely won't be encountered by the majority. Great product, fair customer service. 3.5/5
Easy transaction, glasses are great! Never though I would get replacement lenses.
Answer: I was not so lucky and have had a horrible experience withLensabl. After two months I'm still waiting for progressive lenses that cost over $600 and Neither my frames nor the lenses I ordered are back to me. Next time I will use a local eyewear store.
Answer: They falsely boosted about putting new lenses in existing frames (in a very short turn around like a week) not the 8 months it's been
Answer: Once your frames arrive at our lab, assuming you've provided all required Rx information, lens production is 4-7 business days on average before shipping
Answer: I purchased some really awesome vintage glasses with octagonal black plastic frames made in France, probably from the late 1960s or early 1970s. I was so excited to have them made into sunglasses. I took them to my local optical shop and was told, "I hope you didn't spend much on these because you wasted your money. No one will touch frames this old, because the plastic is so brittle it will just shatter." I was so disappointed. I tossed them in a drawer and forgot about them for a few months. Then I saw an ad for Lensabl online. I contacted them and asked if they could work with vintage frames, and the answer was "No problem!" I was nervous to send the frames in but figured I didn't have anything to lose. I just received the glasses back in the mail today (two weeks from when I mailed them in), and they are incredible! The frames were cleaned and straightened, and the new lenses are perfect. I love them so much. Thanks, Lensabl!
Answer: They clearly don't have the infrastructure set up to be in this business where each frame is a customer order. In cases like they they are not staffed with customer services that can be actually helpful which only result in wrongly made glasses. They broke my glasses and are not trying to it at all. I posted review on here before and then it just disappeared for some reason, I'm not sure if they are paying people to get rid of negative reviews.
Answer: Transitions take an upwards of 30 seconds to Transition. The weather conditions can impact the Transition time. Brighter and warmer outside conditions= transitions faster.
Answer: I am having the same experience. Took my money, lost my frames and have done nothing on refund nor damages. I filed with BBB as well. Why are they still in business is a surprise to me?How many more consumers do they need to harm before they are fined and/or shut down?
Answer: All prices are in USD ($) but we do ship to Canada as well :)
Answer: Yes all of our lenses are guaranteed or we will re-make them if any issues once you receive them back. Thanks!
