I am shocked by the poor reviews. Customer service was helpful. Packages come quickly so far & I get Skinmedica & other med grade sent monthly for about year now. I spend literally thousands here. And the rewards points program is great. I hope to keep having great experiences.
I've been a loyal customer for years with lovely skin. They were offering a promotion buy a full size Elta md sunblock receive a trial size for free. Anyway this free travel size product is expiring in two months. So you're trying to get rid of this expiring product so you're offering it for free to your customers with a full purchase? Basically this sunblock is useless as a free gift considering its expiring in two weeks considering this promotion was running end of August and i purchased this product at that time. Beware of lovely skin offering these promotions and free trial size anything or free anything because the item that you're receiving is most likely expired or expiring! If I didn't read the expiration date my skin would be damaged and not protected. Check your products you purchase from this company! The trust is broken for me. For a reputable company offering free products that's expiring how awful. Now I'm wondering if the free samples they offer to their customers are expired?! Do better lovely skin. Ordered a product called Glytone Body Lotion. I have ordered this product for years from other companies and it is always in more of a liquid form. When I received my order from Lovely Skin the product was a heavy cream. I called Lovely Skin to complain and got no satisfaction. They are lacking in customer service and would not recommend them. First, a product did go missing from a LS package. They sent me a video to "prove" I was wrong. I could not see the product put into the package and I told them so. Nope. Out $50+. Now I learned that LS policy is to DENY reviews that mention any pump problems! They state it is not "the product" -- absurd policy leaves people not knowing about pump issues. The pump IS part of a product. The LS "rule" is both dictatorial and not friendly to customers, nor it is satisfactory to this long term customer. They should think about all of this. Ciao, LS.

Bought a VERY expensive product ($165). Their ordering system auto filled my info with an old address from 5 years ago. Of course the new owners kept the package and did not return, even tough addressed to me! Anyway, LovelySkin was not lovely at all about crediting me for the error or the fact that I never received the product. There are plenty of other companies out there who treat their customers well, unfortunately this one is not one of them!
I have never had a more terrible experience from a company than with Lovely Skin! I purchased several items on 3 different orders. I was shorted 1 item from the order. A item that cost $58. They were unwilling to send out another item or reimburse me for the item they NEVER SHIPPED! I had a friend that had a similar experience. I recommend no one order from this company. Not worth the potential loss you will have.

My advice to anyone thinking of ordering from LovelySkin.com is BEWARE.
After I received my merchandise (and about 2 weeks later) I saw the same product selling on Beauty.com for half the price. Naturally, I asked (through e-mail) LovelySkin.com to price match it as their ad states they do. They denied the request -no explanation given. I then decided to return it and that's when their customer service rep started giving me a VERY hard time. I managed to get a return authorization #, but also received nasty e-mails from one customer service rep in particular. She sent me an e-mail reminding me that the three free samples that I received w/my order was to be returned w/the product and that if I didn't, I would be charged $4.00 for each one.
In short, if you do decide to order from LovelySkin.com, don't expect "price matching" OR "hassle free returns" as advertised on their website.
I bought Marine Moisture Cream from Lovely Skin and it is sticky, not the same as the creams I have bought from other sources under that name. I believe it has different ingredients... I am very unhappy with this product and at 44 dollars a jar it makes my face breakout... I am very upset and will only buy from companies on Amazon from now on
Huge selection of products with decent discounts and promotions, but their customer service is the worst I have ever encountered. Do not order from Lovelyskin.com unless you are 1000 percent certain that you absolutely want and will use the product(s). It makes no difference to them if you are a loyal, years-long customer or new one, they will treat you like your business means nothing to them. Even if you call them to cancel an order within minutes after ordering, they will tell you it's too late and then make you pay for the return (returns are limited to 3 per 12 month period even when package is returned immediately and completely unopened, and you paid for the return), you are just a phone number to them. If they don't see your phone number in their flawed system, they will mistakenly insist that you that you never called.
They do not put their customers first. Buyer beware.
Unfortunately I had a very bad experience, I'm from Canada and I received a black Friday special, I mad the order value at 100$ only to find out 3 weeks later with a phone call from customs that I need to pay taxes and customs charges on top of my order (around 100$ more) then I get my credit card to find out that its not 100$ like on the site but 124$ since the currency they show on site is not CAN$ but US$. I contacted them to get a refund. Guess what, the charge me for shipping and 30$ for fees total 50$. Today I have no product and I lost 50$. In my opinion this is theft.

After spending hours upon hours trying to narrow down skincare products for my hypersensitive skin I decided to call their so called "experts" for assistance. After explaining my needs and concerns two popular products were recommended, neither of which were safe for me. I mentioned I called after spending much time trying to narrow down choices myself and was hoping for guidance but instead I was told my best bet was to continue searching the website myself until I found something I thought would work. She admitted she didn't know anything about the products except for how much they sold.

I previously wrote a negative review about potential concerns I had about this company's handling of negative product reviews. The company's responded to my review by sending a condescending email censoring me for sharing my negative opinion publicly. They then closed my account and took the $67 of rewards I had legitimately earned as a Customer up until my negative review. This business penalizes customers for writing negative reviews. People who value freedom of speech and the right to express your opinion without fear of reprisal should not patronize this business. In my opinion, this business engages in practices that undermine a free marketplace of unbiased, uncensored reviews.
One of the poorest customer service experiences I have ever had. I'm a Vice President at our company and I would never offer the poor level of customer service that this company does.

The information in your review is not accurate. You elected for auto replenishment, then failed to cancel it after receiving a reminder it was ready to ship. After it shipped and you contacted us, we offered to help with a return of the item for a full refund. We did not hear back from you until you lodged a chargeback with your credit card company. Through that, you were refunded but also kept the product you have not paid for.
We care about our customers and strive to provide excellent customer service though that does not include sending products that have not been paid for. As provided via email, your account has been closed. We recommend you find an alternate retailer to shop with in the future.

I compared the same product with 3 different suppliers, and was surprised to find that "Lovely Skin" was substantially less for the same product and the same size however, the product I actually received was half the size... when I contacted the supplier they lied and said they didn't advertise the larger size!
They took a while to send my tracking info and get my order in their warehouse to even ship it out to me however I emailed them about it they were kind consistent with replying and getting answers I needed
I ordered Skinceuticals "fusion" sunscreen. Through the entire process, not once did anything come up and say out of stock. I purposely checked to make sure I was ordering the "fusion" and not the sheer as I had made that mistake years ago. It did state it would take 1-3 weeks to receive. Surprised 2 days later with a box at my door. And its the wrong product. They switched it to the sheer because the fusion was out of stock. Instead of telling their customers that, they switch out their product. I emailed them and they told me fusion is out of stock and that "I" must have ordered the wrong product. I went to their site again and sure enough, I could order the fusion again with no statement that it was out of stock. I replied that I thought it was a scam and unethical to just switch products and to send me a return label. I've asked twice and have received no label or response. I also left a review and they will not publish it.

After 2 days of them saying my address was wrong on my credit card, it wasn't, they finally got a supervisor to process it. However, they were nice and shipped my merchandise faster than what I paid for. I appreciate that. Everything was in order after that. I would purchase from them again.
I order my Kinerase Pro and Colorescience products from this site. I love the sales that they frequently have. The products are always nicely packaged and given with a sample (of my choosing).

I had Kybella treatments for a roll under my chin. Kybella is a non-surgical option that can take as long as 3 months to complete and involves many injections and lots of swelling. While the clinic is impressive, the staff engaging, the results of this very expensive, uncomfortable non-surgical treatment I was assured would handle the problem, have been disappointing to say the least. There is literally NO difference and I feel very ripped off. I read extensively on this prior to, and while the technician did say sometimes Kybella requires more treatments to work, she also said it would work if I followed her treatment plan and it didn't. Buyer Beware!
I ordered a product from Lovely Skin. It was pictured on their site and I selected the color- brown. I get a gel that is clear dry and useless. Now they want the product number from a box I threw away, they want pictures. Well, I ordered the same thing from Walmart. Do not bother with this group.
Sold and sent a defective product to me I've been using for years and then proceeded to provide a demeaning experience when I contacted their customer service department. I was provided a replacement that was sent quickly, it's unfortunate my experience had to be colored by people who don't know how to communicate appropriately. The product either dispenses or it doesn't. Was then attacked by one of their "customers" on Twitter when I voiced a concern there which was a little too random and convenient considering the other user just decided to hop on Twitter and peruse Lovelyskin's twitter which has about 1k followers? I have been ordering all my physician strength skin care products from them for over a year( Neocutis, PCA, Oxygenetix etc). I have been so happy, and they definitely beat my doctors pricing. I was concerned that the products may be fakes, but many of the brands websites say Lovelyskin.com is an authorized dealer( if that helps). I have not made any returns(1 product I should have) so I can not speak on that aspect, but very happy with authentic products at better prices.

I was requesting for a return due to negative skin reaction of a product and this girl was horribly rude and uncooperative. She doesn't even an idea on how their competitors offer free shipping and free return. She said something like, we give rewards so thats why we charge return shipping! Wow. So I basicslly pay for my rewards, get skin reaction and you call it business!
A product arrived defective. I contacted Lovely Skin for a refund or replacement and was told that since I did not open the product until more than 30 days post purchase Lovely Skin would not honor a refund or replacement. I've been a Lovely Skin client for 2 decades and this is not the customer service I expected.
There is a 15 dollar returned package fee if a mistake is made on the address. They ended up keeping my package without resending it... unbelievable. Horrible customer service. I guess it's worth it to pay more on Amazon to get the customer service backing if something goes wrong. Lesson learned.

The dermesse cleanser gel that received from Lovely Skin appears to be fake. The one we use from the dr. Does not burn our eyes or make our faces break out. I learned my lesson and will only buy from the dr from now on.
