I am shocked by the poor reviews. Customer service was helpful. Packages come quickly so far & I get Skinmedica & other med grade sent monthly for about year now. I spend literally thousands here. And the rewards points program is great. I hope to keep having great experiences.

I've been a loyal customer for years with lovely skin. They were offering a promotion buy a full size Elta md sunblock receive a trial size for free. Anyway this free travel size product is expiring in two months. So you're trying to get rid of this expiring product so you're offering it for free to your customers with a full purchase? Basically this sunblock is useless as a free gift considering its expiring in two weeks considering this promotion was running end of August and i purchased this product at that time. Beware of lovely skin offering these promotions and free trial size anything or free anything because the item that you're receiving is most likely expired or expiring! If I didn't read the expiration date my skin would be damaged and not protected. Check your products you purchase from this company! The trust is broken for me. For a reputable company offering free products that's expiring how awful. Now I'm wondering if the free samples they offer to their customers are expired?! Do better lovely skin. I'm highly disappointed! I never received anything saying this free item will be expired. Are you kidding me? Why would you give anything for free to anyone if it's going to be expired in two months? Updated review this is the response I get from this company after being a customer for years bravo! Untruthful? Closed account. Thank you I will take my hard earned money elsewhere and so should everyone else. Unprofessional They should be ashamed of themselves for being doctors sending free things to people that will be expiring in two months! Or have any products in their warehouse that's expiring in two months after offering it for free! What a joke this company is I will make sure to let everyone know about this "Thank you for your call today. As seen on the picture provided, we were very upfront on this promotion that this product had a limited time till sell-by date. We are happy that we could provide this to our loyal customers as it was a free, $35 product that would have otherwise been unable to give joy and allow customers to experience this great product. As provided for you today when this promotion was available, we clearly noted in our promotion email the expiration date of this item is in 10/2024. This was also displayed in the shopping cart throughout the checkout process and read "Free $35 EltaMD Full-Size UV Sheer Broad-Spectrum SPF 50+ (Expires October 2024.) We also updated the banner on the EltaMD brand page to also note the expiration date. We do all we can to provide accurate information any time an item being offered has a shorter expiration date than at least 6 months out. Bought Juno Sunday Riley product from them 10 months ago. First few months of use was okay. About 3-6 months in and half way through the bottle the face oil started smelling foul/stale like a cheap grocery oil that's gone bad and stale for years. I paid over $60 for this small bottle of oil. At this price range you have certain expectations of performance and um, not expect it to go bad within a few months of use? EVERY single skincare product I buy I use it for at least 6 months to a year.

When I called customer service they were unwilling to help whatsoever bc it was out of the return window time frame. SUPER unhelpful, SUPER degrading and irresponsible for the expensive products they sell that's clearly gone bad.

DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. I am Korean and have a lot of experiences buying high end products (SKii, IOPE, Sisley, Sulwhasoo)

This review isn't concerning the products or service of this retailer, but rather what I consider possible practices to inflate the ratings/reviews of products it sells. As a long time shopper of skincare online, I noticed lovelyskin reviews for its products are outside the "mean" for the identical products sold on other websites. Lovelyskin reviews posted of the products it sells are excessively high and negative reviews don't seem to appear with as much frequency as found on other sites. It's expected that people will have both good and bad experiences with a product so a consumer expects to see a well distributed range of reviews. I've purchased many products from lovelyskin and have reviewed approximately 7 products. It's concerning to me that lovelyskin approved to post 6 of my 7 reviews - all of which were 3-5 star ratings - but has not approved my 1 star critical review of a product. Frankly it seems a shady business practice in my opinion and it makes me question my continued loyalty to this store.

I ordered a Neocutis product and it doesn't look or apply like the real thing I used to buy from my dermatologist. The color and texture is wrong and it pills on my skin. Yuck.

I should have read these reviews prior to making any purchases. I purchased a few products from Lovely Skin, and one of the products I purchased I believed there to have been an issue with. I have never had a reaction to a skincare product as I did with the product I purchased. The company would not even offer to reimburse for shipping or send a prepaid label for the inconvenience. I understand if the buyer does not like the product, but this was not the case. I had a severe reaction to this product and had to visit my dr due to the severity of the reaction. I will never do business with company again. I have never had an experience like this with any other company. In a case like this any company with any integrity that values their customers would have at least given a prepaid label. Most stores I have done business with in the past would give a refund, plus a discount for the next order or a credit along with refunding shipping. The fact I had to even ask for a prepaid label is very disappointing. I hope that no other customer has an experience like this.

I ordered the Dermesse cleanser gel. BEWARE... it is not authentic. It burned my eyes and caused skin breakout. I have been using this cleanser for over 5 years and have always bought it from my dermatologist or the Dermesse website. First time ordering it from Lovely Skin and it is not the real thing! DO NOT ORDER FROM LOVELY SKIN!

I purchased a beauty skin cream last week from LovelySkin and the tracking said that my product was delivered to my home today. I was home all day and received no package. I checked outside of my home, i checked outside of my neighbors' home, i checked in my mailbox, and nothing. I contacted the mail company and asked if they took a picture of the delivered item outside of my door(much like amazon does) and they said no. I had to contact google to try and get this resolved and after a long time of arguing, they decided to refund me my item (which was the least that they could have done, and not something i should have argued about for as long as i did) I'm upset because i trusted LovelySkin and gave them my business by purchasing from them (and not any other retailer) and I am disappointed that I did. I still want the skin cream that i paid for. Now with my refund, i will go elsewhere to place my order. This was a negative experience and unfortunately, i will not be recommending this place to any of my family friends, or anyone else. I'm very disappointed.

Just an FYI there are a lot of online "beauty stores" that sell fake products. ONLY GET YOUR BEAUTY PRODUCTS DIRECTLY FROM THE MED SPAS AND DOCTORS! I've ordered Glycolix products from them and they are just not the same. Definitely fakes. The little samples they send you in the mail after you've ordered from them are fakes as well. Nice try LovelySkin, but im never ordering from you again.

Ordered non tinted elta sunscreen and received tinted elta. Company refused to replace and stated it wasn't from their inventory. Very poor service. Ordered products not received.

Your entire order also received an automatic 20% discount during our Labor Day Sale which brought the list price of the TiZO 3 Age Defying Fusion Tinted Face Mineral Sunscreen SPF 40 down from $45.00 to $36.00 and the TiZO Tinted Lip Protection SPF 45 down from $11.50 to $9.20. I have been purchasing products from Lovely Skin for many years, and have been mostly pleased until recently. First, I ordered hair mousse from them and it arrived twice with a broken cap and top so it was not possible to use the product. I told them the first time that the item came unwrapped in the box and obviously banged around and was broken. When the second one arrived, it was the same situation. It was not wrapped either and therefore, banged around in the box in transit and was broken. Both times the company insisted that it was the shipper's fault and had nothing to do with the person that packed it - unwrapped and unprotected. Guess what, when it arrived the third time, it was wrapped and fine. Now again, I reached out to the company about items that arrived half full in a travel-size gift set. Rather than accept a return because I was dissatisfied with the purchase, their customer service rep insisted that I send photos before they could discuss any type of return. After sending the images and the lot number on the box (as they asked), they came back with an arrogant email telling me that these items arrived as expected, so they would not pay for the return. I had to pay for the shipping if I wanted to return the products. I was told that these are filled the same as the ones they have in their warehouse. I responded by telling them they did not arrive as expected as I would never purchase containers that I knew were half full. They refuse to make good on this, and instead gave me 25% off on a future purchase. Something has changed at the company - and they need to get a handle on the way their customer service people treat their customers. I will find an alternative online skincare company going forward.

Tip for consumers:
You better be sure you can use and like the products as they are not willing to work with you on returns like other companies do. They are also arrogant and do not believe that the customer is right. They are the only ones that are right in their mind.

I only tried two of the for items because I quickly saw that two of the three tubes were half full.

I purchased a cologne that I discovered at the Art of Shaving. The scent was perfect and ONE spray lasted the rest of the evening and the next morning. I bought the exact same cologne at LovelySkin. The scent barely lasts for an hour, even after THREE sprays. I attempted to return the product withing the 30 days but was told NOPE, SO SORRY that product is nonrefundable. I asked for store credit - NOPE, SO SORRY.

Lisa at Lovelyskin knows very well that I received replenix power of three unboxed and unsealed. While I appreciate the environmental consciousness it just seemed odd so I checked in with customer service. Lisas immediate response was to go into a tirade about how legitimate both Replenix and Lovelyskin were. I was new to skin products so I felt shamed and embarrassed

Then in the summer I tried to get something shipped 2 day air because I didnt want the products sitting outside in the sun. The package didnt arrive timely and I guess I counted the two days wrong because there was a holiday or something and so I didnt receive as I expected. Lisa forcefully insisteda that the heat would not be a problem but it was really hot and the product was outside for a many days and it was a problem. Again, dealing with her was unpleasant.

Then I got the brown vitamin C and it was hard to get an answer about what to do.

I have been experimenting with different products to find the best ones so have spent a fair amount of money. I havent made any returns. And yet, I am treated poorly when I get the courage to ask for help. To be honest I feel kind of stupid now. Why was I trying to save 15 or 20% but taking the risk of getting bad product.

I am not sure the products are authentic or are possibly out of date. No seals on certain brands. Dark brown, orange vitamin c product that should not be. Snarky attitude from customer service. Difficult returns. Some products seem to have been okay so 2 instead of 1 star. I bought from LovelySkin because of the discounts offered on products. Now I would rather just pay more and have peace of mind.

Had a severe reaction to the products ordered and asked for them to issue a refund. Support ignored me for days while I continued calling back, only to be put on hold for over and hour. The representative told me they were sorry that I had an allergic reaction, and that there was nothing that they could do for me. They offered me a 30% off promo code (My items purchased totaled to $200) and told me there was nothing else they could do. When asked to be transferred to a more senior member/supervisor, I was again put on hold, only to have them hang up on me TWICE; both times I was on hold for over 30 minutes. After an entire week of calling and calling, was finally able to get through to a manager who told me that it's my own fault for being allergic to the product, and I should have consulted a dermatologist before purchasing the product. I found that to be offensive, rude, and extremely unrealistic. I know which products my skin are typically allergic to, so I always check the ingredients board. Ignoring the fact that I always do my due diligence to research, and buying a product that contained an ingredient that I did not know would cause an allergic reaction only to be blamed for it just does not sit right with me. I also asked about their return policy for other official vendors such as Amazon, only to be told "most consumers don't know; ALL of the manufacturers' products sold on Amazon are fake." I immediately asked for clarification on that statement, since it was quite a big claim to be making. I asked if the Official Seller page has nothing to do with the actual company making the product, to which the manager immediately realized he might have misspoke and retracted his statement. He ended up telling me "Oh, well Amazon's return policy and OUR return policy are wildly different; you should have done your research." I'm taking that as "Yeah, just don't buy from us, because our fine print will screw you over."

I purchased Pureology strength cure shampoo and conditioner a year ago. The large bottles. I hadn't started the bottles until just a few months ago since i was finishing up my current Redkin Shampoos. The shampoo smelt awesome, just like I remember my hairstylist using. However, I noticed that the conditioner smelt different than the shampoo. The next time I went to get my hair done, I asked my stylist if the conditioner was different smelling than the conditioner- she let me smell it right there. IT WAS NOT THE SAME CONDITIONER. She said she has heard of companes replacing the product with cheaper products. I couldn't remember where I bought it since it was so long ago but I just recently searched my emails and found the purchase. I spent $60 each on shampoo and conditioner. So disappointing since now I will now have to replace the conditioner. I'm not sure if it's the company or someone that possibly returned it, and the company resold the contaminated bottle. Either way, I will not be buying from this company again.

It sounds as if your stylist did not provide to you that Pureology updated formulations and packaging for many of the products in their line which began phasing in in July of 2020. Since that time, several additional updates have launched on Pureology products.

While products can be affected by many things including storage, the formula potentially having been updated since the last time you purchased the item would be a very simple explanation as to the variance in scent.

We are disappointed that we were not contacted via traditional means at any time prior to lodging a damaging review that includes incorrect information.
