Unless you are fluent in Spanish then their promotional offer of Vix+ is pointless and worthless in basically end up paying more for nothing than if you know Spanish whereas prime catered to everybody it's something that everybody uses is something that everybody watches it's something that everybody buys from but now they only use Vix+ plus which totally screws anybody that's not Spanish. Totally not worth it
I decided to switch from Metro PC, because of budget reason and found cheaper services with another carrier, the would not unlock my device, and my phone was,that I brought was over a year old. They gave me the run around, on the phone, sent me back to where I bought the phone, the guy there was not help, the app customer care was not help full,all because I switched carrier
MetroPCS coverage area is not that good. Here in El Paso you do not have coverage on a 375. Also when you go to port your phone number over to another company any money that you've overpaid they will keep! If you just paid your bill and then you pour it over, they will not refund you. They keep any money that you did not use for their own gain. Any other reputable company refunds any overage that you've paid in but this company does not. Beware! If you have extra money to give away to a company, then this would be the one that you would want to go to. Cuz they'll take your money and keep it. I suggest staying away!
I bought a phone seven months ago approx? Since DAY ONE I have called them or messaged them about the phone not working properly. One representative told me that they accidentally fried my card and she was submitting a ticket to get the phone replaced within two weeks. Yeah, THAT never happened. After a month I called asking what took so long and was told that ' they couldn't find that report of that conversation and that I didn't qualify for a new phone' No JOKE. THIS PHONE have worked at ALL at work since opening it. It freezes and dies. I have multiple records of calls and messages to them. Nobody can fix it. Tonight 'ebony' from Metro on FB messenger (who claims to be the supervisor) told me that they cannot give me another phone for free even though they sold me a defaulty phone and they KNOW IT. Yep. No joke. I am as mad as a hornet and will write a review everywhere. I will broadcast this all over social media.
I had purchased a phone recently with a rebate. When I followed the steps to claim said rebate they sent me to the store to resolve the issue after I weant to the store they gave me a number for the rates department. When I called they told me I had activated my phone too early and that it wasn't within the required date I had told them that there was no such date on the ad and they told me that it's too bad it was activated too early and refused to give me my rebate. I don't like being lied to or made to be an idiot absolute worst don't trust them
Ray goes above and beyond to make sure his customers are happy and satisfied. I've delt with him for 11 years and he doesn't quit until your issues are solved. He always makes sure his customers are happy.
My account is due on the 1st of the month. Metro will shut you down if you have not payed by the 1st, but they will not restart your data limit till the next day. So even if you pay you will not be able to use your alotted data

I have been a metro pcs customer since i believe metro first started, yes that long and the service wasn't as bad as it is now. Everr since metro pcs got with T-Mobile, the service got worsened, people can't hear me good keeps breaking up,. The internet it's so BAD!
I thought I had a pretty good plan however my plan each month for the acp program they keep asking to reapply when I verified it and I'm totally fine I wouldn't recommend metro PCs at all. Plus the representative don't know anything most of the time instead of being nice all I want is to fix the issues with my phone and management is no help either.
Changing to the $60 plan for 4 lines from originally paying $120. After changing which I was never told that the data would not slow down but cut off completely once switched and cap reached. I called within 24 hours and the representative 1st stated that the new bill would be 54$then 174$. I asked for an explanation and he stated that the 54 was the difference. Well my math says 120-60 is 60 not 54 and then offered an explination of this was prorated charges when i asked what the prorated rate was he could not answer and then tried to say it was just general charges that had no identity and probably and uncertain wording in his explination. Still on the phone for 40min now and still on the line.
My friend bought his phone thru MetroPcs. And he has been paying his insurance. Then one day, his phone malfunctioned. The lady filed a claim for him. Then we received the email staying insurance doesn't cover the "PRE-EXISTING" problem on his TCL phone. Say what? So all phones they sold to customers are USED and have PRE-EXISTING problems? Wow. Rip off for $100 or more. His phone ONLY malfunctioned 2 days ago. It's not pre existing problem. Not only that BUT it also has SIM recognizing problem shutting off data. Shame on them!
Metro PC in Elizabeth city is horrible associate added my new phone to my account of my lost phone then another associate made another account for my phone under a made up name that she thought of in the store instead of fixing the problem they way she should have so my phone was turned off two days in a row in then the head supervisor pj pushed me off also cause she didn't wanna deal with the problem as well horrible making excuses for wat the associates made horrible
As for metro I like but for East Stone Dr in Kingsport Tenn. I bought Lg Earbuds from that store about 2 months ago the manager of that store was the most disrespectful, rude, hateful person I have ever encountered to work at that place, I will never enter that store again. She should never let that job go to your big head lady because the way this world is today do that to someone that just don't care might bring you back to reality.Be nice to people Little girl you'll go further in life.
The cheap phones are just that, cheap. I brought 3 phones and accessories at a locatio in Bakersfield ca. The people are crooks and the phones are trash. I was lied to and taken advantage of. I call corporate for assistance and received none. They might as well be boost mobile. Two thumbs down
Spoke to a woman named "Lenny" and one named "Cathy *******". Was told by the national verifier for the $30 discount that a rep from Metro needed to do a transfer of my discount back to the company. I called and was told 3x they could not do that. So I called back to the national verifier and again was told metro had to do the switch. Metro reps refused to help me. Kept cutting me off to the point I ended up cussing her out. I told her I was going to put her on a 3 way call so the agent could tell her and she refuses that. So on that note, I am cancelling Metro all together. Get ur $#*! together. Hire people we can understand and who can be of help. You just lose a customer because of the way ur reps treated me. Rude af.

For the price you really can't beat Metro PCS, HOWEVER I am in Ohio and travel between Dayton area and Akron and had very spotty service. In my home there was no consistency of whether I would get an incoming call. If I was near a big city i. E. Chicago then it was exceptional, but I just couldn't get a consistent signal in anywhere from Dayton area all the way to Akron. Lots of dropped calls and Emergency call only. I gave them six months and tried to fix and still not good so I can't recommend them for anywhere in the areas of Ohio I was traveling through.
CSRs are very bubbly seems they have no ability to solve real issues. On the 2 for $80 a MTH plan the 1st acct. Holder blocked acct. With a so called high security code/word which I was not informed of. I am denied access to any type change on my side of acct. Even to the pt. Of removing my card # from the phone acct. Or get copy of bill. When signing up for this I was never informed verbally or written of this, infact, I was not given any paperwork since I was 2nd on the acct. Even though I ended up paying the bill.
Metro Pcs is by far the worse cell phone company I've ever had. I have poor signal where I live. I've contacted them regarding this manner numerous of times. 3 times within the year I have had Metro they gave me crdits but i still have the ssme issue. When you pay $120 You should get what you pay for. Then when i Called Metro Pcs, customer care to advise them for the last 4 days my signal was weak to when I made a call it was dropped, I couldn't get on line etc they refused to credit me for those days. And at times the signal will be bad for a week. I have to drive about 600 yards to get some signal to get online. As long as I'm in town its great. Metro PCS needs to take care of there customers instead of ripping them off.
