Autopay Fraud
November 18, 2021

When I purchased the plan at T Mobile, the guy at the store said on autopay you pay 20.00,1st month 25.00,2 months in and it's still 25.00. Liars. Now they are telling me after 3rd month it goes to 20.00. They are full of no it.

I have been to 6 stores and they do not honor the website offers. I have to call customer service and get them on the line to help the service people understand the programs. If is was not for my carrier having 3g and parent company issues, I would stay. US Cellular is not an option since it is available in so few states and they charge 150.00 for 2 phones. So not impressed. I had to tell them which phones are free and that set up is free to get the phones. They still want to charge me and customer service says they should not but can't do the program over the phone. So what gives?

Bought New Phone - Lied to me
July 15, 2022

My new phone came at a decent price, but the phone case and screen protector were fifty dollars EACH when on amazon they were only fifteen/twenty. I didn't feel like I could say no to them, because the sales associates were very persistent and made it feel like I couldn't tell them I would rather get it online. I was told that I could return anything I didn't want, but later, when I tried, they said there was nothing they could do. Because they gave me a slight discount when purchasing, I was not allowed to even exchange (not that I wanted to - I wanted to return a screen protector that didn't fit my phone correctly). Overpriced and completely unforgiving. I am never going into another store again; I'm going to use Amazon now, since they have much better prices and an actual return policy!

Do Not Get 5G Phone
October 3, 2021

When I went and updated my phone and bought a new one, they had a phone that was available in 5G. I got the phone but, for the past 2 months I had nothing but problems.

The network keeps disappearing and reappearing at the most inconvenient times. My calls get dropped at a daily occurrence. I can't send out text messages because the network would disappear. At times when I try to order a ride, the signal drops and I become stranded with no cell coverage.

It is very odd on how I cannot call or send texts on WiFi anymore. This plan is a big SCAM and you will get ripped off. You are paying more to have a broken plan. I regret switching to 5G. It is clear that they don't test their products before releasing it to their customers.

I will be also filing a report to the FTC about this because, it is unethical to rip customers off and lie to them. Pick a different carrier and make sure their products work.

Horrible

Horrible is the best word to describe Metro by T-Mobile or MetroPCS. They wanna give out deals and then never have the items that they have a deal for in stock at any of the stores and then once the deal ends they'll finally send the stores more of those items. It is so aggravating and has happened so many times that I dont even want to do business with them anymore

Michael Jackson 2009

I've been with you right before Michael Jackson Died, back in June of 2009. And was with you when there was no service not even 10miles from me. I stuck in their with you and was a loyal customer. And now you merge with tmobile and my bill goes up by $8, wow... It was people like me that helped you not go out of business, and this is the thanks I get. Very Disappointed...

Reported phone stolen & purchased another@ the same time. Was told I could not have my
Original number for 30 days unless I paid an additional 50.00. I was charged for the stolen phone AND the new one!
A month later I get my original number back not knowing it was on the whole month. I now have drug dealers drug people calling me for drugs because the thief was a drug dealer that had my phone. No Metro offers me half of it back not good

THANKS MetroPCS for charging me an extra $20 for a car charger I did not want or need when I purchased a new phone the other day. Tried to return it at the store and the gal (Glenda) gave me the B. S. "Oh you can't return phone accessories that come with the phone." Who in their right mind would want a $20 car charger? That's a load of crap. Not to mention this was the same gal that basically yelled at my boyfriend for trying to get a different phone plan a few months ago. He walked up to her being perfectly nice and then she just started yelling, telling him "IT WOULD BE STUPID" to change his plan in the middle of the month. How is it okay to treat your customers like that?!

Very poor
October 26, 2020

I been with metro since may and never again will I buy a phone or have them as my carrier. First I bought a 300 dollar phone that was suppose to be new wasn't then to top it off as of June I had same plan and I guess they put it upon them to change it. Months later my bill raised to different plans I never asked for every month I have to call them because the plans was changing to no explanation other than I'm sorry let me fix that. I'm done... I will never have nothing good to say or ever return to them...

It has been going on for over 3 months now. I was being told that they were working on the tower over 3 months ago but it has only gotten worse. Now I cant even use my phone half the time. All I ever get is someone telling me that they are working on the tower in the area and the issue and they are sorry as I continue to pay for phone and internet service every month without any discount whatsoever. I have never had such horrible service as this. I take care of my mom and dad which are elderly and have alot of medical issues. If something happens I cant even call for help. This is sad that they really dont care about the customers services. I will be switching to comcast for internet and verizon for phone. Bet I dont have any more issues. I have been lied to for 3 months telling me they are working on the towers in my neighborhood. Metro by tmobile sucks $#*!.

Search had "no results" for ability to change a phone number. Pretty 101 I would think as a phone company goes... No help retrieving log in info. Just curious, if there was a better way to help troubleshoot these common place user hurdles considering MetroPCS has been around for at least 15 years and then have joined with T-Mobile (an "established company/network"). I have time on my hands and needed the practice otherwise this fun little lampooning would have never been shared.

I absolutely despise metroPCS. I've lost job opportunities, missed important calls, had my hotspot shut off when Im in the middle of something, $#*! these people. I'm taking my business elsewhere and so should everyone else. They lied and locked me into an 80 dollar a month 5g plan that barely even works as it is and I can't switch to a cheaper plan so im paying extra for two services that barely work. Its bad enough that the oneplus phone I bought through them is a piece of $#*!. Get your $#*!ing $#*! together metro and maybe less people will complain. $#*! $#*! $#*!.

I have an account with 2 lines for 2 of my grandkids and I can the cost is pretty average. The coverage area is not terrible where we are, but could be a big concern in some areas. In general I've experienced decent customer service. My biggest complaint is account access. It requires the username, password, account code, and a code it sends to one of the phones every single time. The phone's are with my 13 and 15 yr old grandkids, not myself, so this makes it difficult most of the time.

I've been with them for years. One thing is consistent: Their website interface sucks. That aside, everything else is good. T-Mobile coverage covers even more than they used to. When you work hard enough to talk to a human, they're from India but they have scripts and training to make sure good protocols are followed. Bottom line, if you don't care about the web portal crap, then MetroPCS can be one of the best carriers around. I started with them because they were the most reasonably priced, but I've stayed with them because they meld that with a consistently excellent technical backend.

The service and the phone is terrible always disabled i bought a chip the other day for memory and it still says storage space running low i have medical problems and fear i will not get help because service and phone are unreliable no customer service available

Went to upgrade my phone. They lied and overcharged me. Charged for activation, charged for phones that should have been free, changed my plan. Went to another store and they said I was ripped off. Returning everything today. Crooks

Complaint / disatisfaction

I'm trying to cal metropcs customer service but it is clear these people do have a fake customer service. When you call and call and call most of your calls get blocked(hanged up) if you dial 611 according metropcs policy instruction that lead you to a page where you will ask to follow the instruction on the screen but their were no instruction to follow on the screen... 3rd attempt I did call some local metropcs stores for hel unfortunately I found myself dealing with crooked dishonest people either they hang up on you or ignored your call. It is a difficult situation wondering who is in charge of this company? Why they are screwing up and taking people s money and the big question is ': is this a real company or fake.
