I've been with Metro PCS for over 20 years. The last time one of their reps got angry with me 10 years ago they recycled my number. I had to change all my business letterhead and all my business supplies with the new number. I should know better than to do business with a company that outsources its customer service to another country. They don't even like America enough to keep the jobs here. The worst customer service you could ever hope for. I've had to buy a new phone every year for the last three years because they mysteriously go bad. But after I buy a new phone the old phone seems to work fine.
I've dealt with 3 different Metro stores and received the same terrible service. The staff is nice until you decline to buy their overpriced cell phone accessories. Then they become bullies with threats that Metro won't honor phone warranties unless you buy a low quality case and screen protector for $40. The wall charger for my phone was missing from the box. They found it in the store after I left but refused to mail it to me even though their employee removed it and other items from the box for no reason. Pricing changes depending on which employee you talk to. If my grandfathered rate wasn't so low, I would switch to a cell phone company with better customer service.
They change the price of my bill monthly with no explanation and took off the insurance on my phone with out talking to me and then said they can't add it back so now if something happens to a phone I paid $1000 for I'm screwed because they can't do any thing

Metro is not worth having. It use to be a very good phone service until they started switching to sprint. Alls you get half the time is no service. I know a large amount of people who have metro and they are having the same problems. This company should have never merged with sprint. I have had metro for more than 10 years never had no problems until this year. I am going to switch phone company.
If I could give 0 stars I would. Got scammed out of $443.42 by a seller with a lease contract that wasn't properly explained to me. I was only supposed to make 4 payments but they're making me do 11. Make sure if you're getting a phone for the first time to take someone with you that won't allow this to happen to you or read up on it before you go to understand all the fine prints some of these sellers aren't going to tell you these things.
ALERT! METRO by T-Mobile is advertising FALSE promotions. I upgraded my plan to include Amazon Prime. Along with adding Amazon Prime, the channels that came with the upgrade were: HBO, HBO MAX, STARZ, ACORN and BRITBOX. As I'm watching one of the programs on HBO MAX, the program disappeared and then reappeared with the yellow lock on it telling me that I had to buy the channel. METRO by T-Mobile Jacked my monthly price up tremendously for this service that I am NOT receiving. I spoke with 6 different agents there, including a 3way call with Amazon Prime and METRO, last week, and was advised that I would receive a credit on my account and that my service would be restored to what I purchased. As of today, nothing has changed. I just spoke with another agent and she stated that this plan did not exist. The main reason for me upgrading was due to the advertisement of those channels. I AM NOT THE ONLY ONE THIS HAS HAPPENED TO. I am switching carriers and I would advise anyone that this has happened to to do the same.
I have not received incoming calls and the missed calls don't register as a missed call. My phone is going directly to voice-mail. Metro won't unlock my phone so I can go to a different carrier. I've asked them to waive my monthly fees until they unlock my phone and they said no. This is unacceptable.
I have not had one problem with the service since I started. I recently went back out and got the buy one Samsung Galaxy Light and get another for free for $29.00. Its a great deal and I don't envy my boss when he pays his $800+ per month with AT&T and I pay $100.00 per month. He has 4 phones on his plan and I have 4 on mine and I get better customer service and pay way less and have the same model of phone.
Had an issue at a location today and left feeling frustrated, I then drove to the Metro PCS location@ ******* Stuebner Airline Rd Houston Tx *******. Felix helped me at this location and was absolutely wonderful and fixed everything perfect. He was very kind and I will never make the mistake again and drive to a different location. I can't say enough about how grateful i was for all his help! If you are a Metro PCS customer, this is the store for you, trust me!
For those who like to be changing cell often, this company does not work for you because their rules have changed since October. Now they charge for changing the chip to another cell phone 43 dollars and now if you can use the same chip of yours when before they told you that it did not work and they charged you 9 dollars to buy another one that because the old chip did not work and you had to buy a new one and right now my old chip served me... I don't understand this?
The whole reason for this review is because of the customer service I recieved at my local store. She actually deserves a 0 but that wasn't an option.

How can a company be afflicted with two major companies TMobile and Sprint and not be capable with Apple watches or Apple products. Apple is the most popular product available and MetroPcs doesn't fully support its product. Let's get on board Metro happy customers means more customers.
I have over 6 years of screenshots how they turn off my service several times a day. I always pay my bill on time. When you call customer service they will hang up on you. Most days I have no service because they turn it off. It is a waist of your money. Go to another company for your phone service. MetroPCS I want a refund for years of horrible service.
Bought a Moto 5 phone from metro pcs and as soon as I got it home I received a phone call! Once I answered it I knew this phone was junk as the callers voice was breaking up so bad that I could only hear maybe 3 words out of 10! Caller saidI was breaking up on his end also! Went outside - sam3 problem! Took back to store and after 4 weeks resetting and calling customer support nothing has corrected the problem and they won't give me a replacement phone! Stay away from them their product sucks just like their business practices
I have been a MetroPCS customer this time for about a year. I liked the idea of 5G service. For six months now, I've had trouble with my internet connection. There are times when my internet connection will quit working five and six times a day. The only thing that helps is continuously restarting my phone. I've been on the phone twice with customer service in the last ten days. Never the same answer. The first representative said that she put in a detailed help ticket. The second one said that the first representative did not. I really don't know what to believe. I've went through all of the troubleshooting with them, to no avail. It doesn't make any difference if it's the first or 15th day after plan renewal. In other words, it's not from throttling from using too much data (it is unlimited, but I realize that it can slow down after so many gigs of data usage). I have insurance on the phone, and they've not mentioned replacing it. Very frustrating.
Only thieves work for metro. They'll take money from the injured and elderly. Metro pcs will crash and burn. Agents aren't helpful at all. Just a bunch of space cadets. They'll insist they aren't moronic thieves to save face, but they're all thieves.
I have been with Metro PCS for a little over 2 years now. If I could give them 0 stars I would. The phones that they sell are defective and they do not live up to their 1 year warranty and always find a reason to void it and make you buy a new phone. I just bought a new phone a couple of months ago and now it doesn't work. Took it into the store and the employee says that it's the internal battery but says that they can't replace my phone because they are saying it has a scratch on the back but my phone stays in a phone case. They are a very big ripoff company and need to be shut down. Will be going somewhere else
Long time Metro customer and I've been a Metro customer for over 10 years! I absolutely love Metro but soon as I heard T-Mobile was buying them I knew this was going to happen. Absolute worst customer service and every time you turn around they're trying to nickel and dime you to death with late charges and every other kind of thing. Automated service is the worst pile of trash ever and it never works correctly. Bring the old Metro back because we're sick of this T-Mobile trash and I am no longer a Metro customer after today because of their lackluster policies and poor customer service! Metro is not Metro anymore it's T-Mobile disaster! They charged up my account and extra $8 this month and I went into dispute it and they said sorry there's nothing they can do! They're so desperate for those pennies that they're willing to lose a long time customer over $8 I would advise going anywhere but T-Mobile or Metro. We absolutely love Metro now T-Mobile is chasing us out, but that's okay when they realize that bottom line maybe they'll figure it out
I recently bought a phone from them, and insurance. The phone is not working correctly, and if they send me a new one I have to pay an unknown deductible, and then pay 25.00 for them to activate it. What a crock!
MetroPCS and there customer service doesn't give two $#*!s! About there customers at all... They rip you off, the phone service sucks, they never fix your problems at all, you don't get what you pay for. I recommend that no one should spend there money with MetroPCS. That is one of the worst phone companies I ever been with, I hope they get sued and the company gets shut down or burns to the ground... MetroPCS are scammers and give you faulty phone service. Stop supporting MetroPCS.
