They're always removing my line when it gets paid a day late, and even after I pay the service doesn't work I have to go to the whole store and pay for another activation fee. I suggest going to a better phone company cus yea this one sucks they're service slows down after a while too

The Revvl 6 phone is a piece of you know what!. I have had this phone for one year it constantly drops calls it takes two or three days to deliver a text message, always losing the signal. Very unreliable. MetroPCS told me at least 5 or 6 different ways they would take care of the issue that at the end of the day was just a bunch of talk to get me off the phone. When I was ready to get another device all the deals they said I was eligible for all of a sudden I wasn't. So there position is take your jacked up phone and go have a good day. Call when you got some more money. The USA

Today the system is down so I can't use my metro app to pay so I called customer service and after having me on hold for a long time the representative tells me that I have to wait two hours to make my payment because the system is down. I proceeded to ask the representative if the fee for paying over the phone would be waived because the app is not working and her answer to me is " You are not the only one having this problem so call in Two hours" I told her that I know that but is still and inconvenience to which she replied "I don't work for metro so I don't know what to tell you" Really? So who do you work for? Am I calling Burger King? Ever since metro merged with T-mobile the customer service has been awful.

I have been a customer of Metro PCS for 6 years. At first I really loved my phone, the service and that my bill was always the same every month and I still had unlimited everything. Over the past couple of years my service has gone downhill. I have to replace my phone every 3 to 6 months because my phone stops working. Sometimes my phone calls go straight to voicemail and my text don't always go through. I am very disappointed in how my phone service has gone down.

Customer Service
November 9, 2022

I called in and spoke to Ellen rep ID ******* then soon after spoke to the supervisor Eden rep ID #*******. I tried to change my phone to another because the previous phone was no longer working. They try to charge me a $20 fee to do this. I advised him that I tried online and it was not working and ask if they could waive that fee for me. They told me they cannot waive it and because they didn't get any error message about online service not working they would not waive it. I told him I could send them a screenshot and I read them the message verbatim. They told me that they would not be able to waive it still and would only switch the phone over for me if I paid the fee. The supervisor was fairly rude and continued to place me on hold until I disconnected. You Get what you pay for. Pay a few dollars extra and go to T-Mobile directly. You will thank me later

Bad company
November 9, 2021

I have been with Metro for over 5 years. Pay my phone bill a month before it's due. The last year 4 to 8 times a month I have problems with my phone where everything has to be reset. I will be looking for a new carrier next month.

Bad service
February 5, 2023

Metro is trying to tell me that my brand new phone,is blacklisted so that i have to buy one of their cheesy crappy phones that they give away free for their customer, when they switch service from another provider. And that is the mafia service, trying to rob customers from their money. And that is part of the fact that, they are closing lots of their stores all over the USA, and letting go of their executive.

I have been a Metro customer for 4 years and I don't use my phone except to text and call. I have been saving voicemails from my brother for over a year. He passed away and it was nice to hear his voice. Today all my saved messages disappeared. I tried to retrieve them and there was no option. I called 888 number to talk to a computer for 20 minutes before I could get a person. Finally get someone from a different country and explain 300 times to her my issue. She tells me I can only save a message for six days. Told her she was wrong because I had some of them from March that I JUST LISTENED to. She said there is no way to retrieve them so I say, "okay, bye." Waiting for the survey at the end of the call, asked how my experience was? On a scale of 1 to 5,5 being the best how was MY experience? I hit 1 because there was no zero and then was hung up on.

I barely use my internet unless I'm connected to Wi-Fi, however I pay for internet every month because it's included in my bill. When I'm in a place where there isn't any Wi-Fi. Metro chargers me extra to use a service that I'm already paying for

Crooked company?
June 11, 2023

Metro gives high speed internet for only a day or two per month. The rest of the month metro makes internet speed slow and buffering. Example this month I received message stating I had 10% of high speed left after 1 day in the month. I shut my phone off and when I turned it back on I had used up the 10% of the high speed I had left. How I used 10% of my high speed internet when the phone was off is a mystery. I think metro is a crooked company that intentionally slows down internet speed to encourage customers to pay higher fees for faster internet.

I purchased a "new" phone from Metro PCS. The phone had a lot of problems and issues, everytime I contacted the store or went back to the store, my concerns were dismissed as browser issues or internet services. I found out that he "new" phone was refurbished, and this is FRAUD! I paid for a new cellphone, and received a refurbished phone. Metro PCS has horrible and dishonest phone tactics!

MetroPCS had a promotional plan, and I bought a prepaid smart phone from them. According to the plan, after buying the smart phone, I could fill out a form, and send it to them, and they would return $50 to my credit card. I did it, and it is more than 4 months that they have not returned it.

I have been a MetroPCS customer for 9 years, and I have paid them EVERY SINGLE month on time via bill pay with my bank. Now, I have found out that I have a $400 credit on my MetroPCS account due to over-payment for the last 3 years. I have contacted customer service FIVE TIMES to try to get this refunded to my bank account or sent to me in a check. They have sent me back to my bank to dispute the charges (no can do) and sent me to the local store to get my money back (but they don't DO THAT) and have opened investigations to get this resolved (the case was CLOSED with no resolution). I still have not been able to get in touch with anyone who can GIVE ME BACK MY MONEY!
DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY -- YOU WILL REGRET IT!

I have been with metro PC for 4years. I have no complaints about my cellphone service. But I do have a complaint about their selling a charge cord and plug separately. $25 for each part. The cord is a joke. You can pick your phone up and it falls out. Its positional. So good luck charging your phone. Ironically, it looks like better quality than the orginal charger, but is a way for metro PC to RIP you off. $50 for a replacement charger that falls out of the cellphone. Don't buy REPLACEMENT products at metro PC

They have pretty good deals for new customers if it was real. They sell you a phone at a good price to get you to use their service and force you to take their most expensive monthly service among the highest in the industry. They claim you can change plans after the first month. When you try to change plans they first claim the 30 days isn't up so you cant switch yet. After you wait to get to 30 days they now claim your bill is over due so you can't change plans still. After you pay the 2nd month at the extremely high rate you try to change plans at their store and you are told they cant change your plan for you. If you were switching to a more expensive plan they would do it in a second. So you go to their Ap to change the plan and it won't let you change to any of the cheaper plans either. You will be stuck paying for the highest rate plan for 6 months before you can get rid of MetroPCS and transfer your number to another company. Don't use them they will lie to you and cheat you.

My husband purchased a new phone for me in late February and the manager of the store downloaded data from someone else email account onto the phone. When I asked her to remove it over the phone while my husband was still in the store, she berated him, refused and was rude. She refused to correct her mistake and called her manager and lied about the situation and asked my husband to leave the store. I requested my money back for the phone or remove the incorrect data. Again she refused and I was told by corporate to go back in the store in person to get my refund for the phone. While I was on the phone with Corporate, the same manager was rude and unprofessional again as corporate was listening.
