I have been trying for over an hour to speak to a person and I can't get through to anyone! It's so FRUSTRATING. I wish I had never ever used them - they are horrible. Never use them if you want any type of customer service or help in any way.
I submitted a request for a recast of my new loan that was transferred from another lender. They informed me a recast takes 90 days in which they would correct the down payment amount of my loan. In the meantime my mortgage payment was double what it should have been which was unaffordable for me. After waiting 60 days they emailed me they never got my request and I would have to wait another 90 days! Ive never seen such incompetence from any company like this! I think they hire untrained employees that are clueless. I heard several times "there is nothing I can do". Must be a company motto there. Finally I did a refinance with another lender and washed my hands of mrcoooper. Their automated phone tree makes it impossible to speak with a real person. Worst customer service Ive ever seen! Id give them zero stars if I could! I hope they go bankrupt as they deserve to!
Based on how I have been treated by this company's customer service department and supervisor's. I can only believe they are not very interested in the senior adult population in our country
MR COOPER - This is the worse company that i have ever delt with. Nobody will talk to you even after emails and online chat. They disconnect when they don't want to answer questions online. Nobody NEVER answer the phone. They have automictic recorders which is so annoying because it never lets you talk to a real person. I called and was on hold over an hour to only get disconnected. I put money in my escrow, the company took it (after the website said it will not be applied to my account) and said my insurance went up. However, my insurance wasn't due and gives me the opportunity to accept or not. I found new insurance less and Mr. Copper is avoiding me at all costs. The insurance com sent them proof. I sent them proof. Please DON'T EVER GET A LOAN WITH THIS COMPANY! IT IS THE WORSE.
I was notified that Mr. Cooper had purchased my mortgage loan from my previous mortgage company. On 18DEC2024 I was contacted by Mr. Cooper to inform me that my payment (my very first for this new mortgage) was late. I received the voicemail and I made a considerable amount of attempts to contact them to resolve the issue. No way to get a hold of a live operator. Made additional attempts to contact them on 19DEC 2024. Again, after spending hours trying to get to a LIVE OPERATOR to assist me. NOTHING! Each and EVERY time I was hung up on by the automated system. This is my first payment for this mortgage and the LAST time I will ever be put in this situation. In over 30 plus years of working with mortgage companies, not one time, NOT ONE have I ever experienced something like this. I'm actually embarrassed for them that they run a company so unprofessionally and disgusting like this. It is obvious that there are issues considering the amount of bad reviews that can be seen online. I've seen one site that are favorable to them which may be questionable considering the amount of negative reviews. I will neither recommend this company or do business with them EVER again once I have left them. I will be refinancing with another more reputable mortgage company. COOPER IS THE WORST!
They will disappoint you - big time. It took over a year after my brother's death to get this mortgage company to do what's right. Finally after 10 letters and 5 email messages to their website trying to get a final settlement check issued in a way that could be cashed at my bank, one finally came after my tenth letter (a lengthy letter from the Executor) lambasting their customer service for the way they treated this account. Sure glad its over with.
My loan was recently purchased by Mr: Cooper, What a train wreck in dealing with them. HORRIBLE. I wasted 2:38 minutes yet again today attempting to get answers. AND NOTHING. Mr. Coopers automatically increased by $75.00 a month. It was stated that there were not enough taxes being withheld. That is incorrect. And now NO way of getting any help resolving this. There is NO real customer service. And if their computer does not understand, which it has not as of yet. With over 20 attempts. Hugh waste of my time. And still no resolution. But they will once again overcharge me here in a few days. But no way for me to contact them. BAD MANAGEMENT.
Our loan got sold to them 4 months ago, I started prepaying the payment every 2 weeks, I have gotten calls every 2 weeks telling me I was behind on my payment every 2 weeks. Even though I am paid in advance they call me because of a screw up in their computer system. I am filing a lawsuit against them RUN FIGHT STAY AWAY FROM THEM<. I have been a home owner for 40 years this is the worst company I have ever dealt with
The worst mortgage company out there. I was with United Wholesale Mortgage, and Mr. Cooper bought my loan. I read into this company when notified of the transfer. Everything I read is coming to life with this company. They adjusted my escrow by $270 in June, yet taxes and insurance didn't change. I've seen that they have paid out almost $200 million so far this year, 2024, in lawsuits. They are creating foreclosures by raising mortgage payments. I'm so new to my loan that I can't drop my insurance and taxes. I'm going to refinance just to get away from these individuals. I don't understand how they are still in business with such questionable practices. All I can say is I want out as soon as possible, and that's not soon enough. Very frustrating.
I can't get a human on the phone. They messed something up and I can't pay my mortgage online. I am in an endless loop of speaking to recordings. This can't be legal.

Answer: They are the worst company that ever existed. Quickly refinance your mortgage elsewhere. I am. They conveniently lost my payment and damaged my credit as soon as I started the refinance process. Go figure. Make public complaints. CFPB, BBB, Yelp, Twitter, Facebook. Everywhere. They need to be shamed out of business for treating people the way they do.

Answer: And all of my 61 years I have never experienced such an unscrupulous company. They have ripped off so many customers I cannot believe that they are still in business. They can change their name but they have not changed their practices. I hope To be involved in a class action lawsuit against them. I will hire an attorney to fight them.
