This company should be charged and locked up for the sleazy bull they do. They denied a request back in May for AC being fixed at this time it was clear that it was about to go out. Now setting in Florida in July with kids and no AC and they won't do anything to help in a timely manner. (If you locked a kid in the car with no AC you will bog to jail) why is it any different for mainstreet renewal. This could take weeks as they have in the past. Water off due to gout water heater exploded for 19 days. No reimbursement for expenses and still paid rent. Roof leaks for months and couldn't use the garage. Raw Sewage Backed up I'm home for weeks at a time. Do not rent from this company they put families at risk every day and it should be illegal.
I spoke to a gentleman *******136 who told me he owns the home@ 1087 summer glen dr, winter haven *******. Well turns out he does not he works for this place main street renewal. So to me that was a red flag, he should have told me he was a property management company and I would have respected the truth.
Beware this company does not like fixing problems electrical or other wise. After fixing a friend's electric was somewhat fixed they decided to raise the rent. The electric still isn't fixed. Its being a year so far and they haven't even tried to help pay for the electric bill that was higher because they didn't want to fix the issue. This is why this rental company is a joke! I would not even consider renting from this place. Lousy communication and the shear fact they want the tenant to basically pay for the issues to be fix like the fireplace it has only worked once and they got a email stating the company does qork on fireplaces will if its something that a tenement will get in trouble for per quotation in the rules and regulations contract. So they was the tenants to basically get themselves evicted. Just down wrong all the way. All I can please do not rent from these people!

So I moved in on 1st of July and none of the bathrooms are usable. I decided to call their maintenance line to put in a work order and it took days for a response. Plumbers came and said they needed an approval by MainStreet to actually fix it. I have to schedule another work order and wait for them to come back. This time, they couldn't do anything because there is such a huge blockage they would have to drill into the floors to fix it. It has now been 26 days and legally I can withhold my rent at this point. For the past weeks I've had to go out of my way to use a bathroom. MainStreet does not care about the living conditions of their rental properties and everyone has been completely useless.

Was double charged. Lied to by a Natasha that's works in the Colorado Springs office. She stated we would be the first ones in line to rent out a house, the very next day she called and told us the house3 was rented out. All they offered to do was refund the overcharged and that we could transfer our app to a different property that we have no interest in. Beyond frustrated. The absolute worse company I've ever had to work with.
I don't recommend this company to anyone, I recently sent this property management company my government orders to report to Missouri for basic training 5 weeks prior to my leave date for lease termination without penalty. I was told that it would take 2 weeks for approval. However, its nearly 30 days later and I have yet to receive approval. The property manager also told me, until they approve me of early termination, I am responsible and liable for the fulfillment of the lease regardless of my orders and documentation. Under the Service-members Civil Relief Act (SCRA) this is completely illegal and unacceptable. I never knew its was so hard to get out of a lease to go and fight for this country and the freedom of the citizens. By their actions, it shows me that they display very little support for the United States military and that does not sit well with me at all.

The house been cleaned and painted they charged me $514 for painting and $100 for cleaning, what is wrong with these people, please do not rent from them they gonna gonna do anything to keep your hard working money deposit, my deposit is $1845 And send me a check of 479.78 this is so wrong.
I have moved out of one of mainstream home in 2021. I sent the office a email stating I was moving and I would not be renewing they sent a email stating I would be removed. My roommate stated they would stay and renew the lease. They allowed the roommate to stay in the home for 8 months and not pay rent. This company drop the ball and want to make me take the blame! They sent me a email stating I owe a balance of $13,000 8 months later. I cant get anyone on the phone or by email, If this goes on my credit I will contact the news and attorney. Its ridiculous for months I cant get anyone on the phone or to respond. My old roommate sent a email stating I left the home. I even have proof of being in another lease. I'm trying to buy a home this is so not fair and against the law.

Currently on day 10 with no air conditioning, Have a 2 year old that currently has a upper respiratory infection and double ear infections that is to remain out of any heat conditions due to his health, called every day to have issue escalated first ac company came out and said we need a whole new ac unit main stream denied this order and the next day another gentleman comes out and was here 15 mins stating to much freon was put in the unit so he removed it and cleaned pipes 2 hours after he left ac read 80 degrees inside ask for relocation this denied and now have a 2nd request in, Requested for portable units to be brought in until issues is resolved my electricity bill went from $280 to $455 in a month can't ask for a credit in rent until matter is resolved Completely unacceptable in every way possible as there are options and no one is willing to help make this matter right!
Property infested with mold. They put air fresheners all of and jack up the ac to try and mask smell.
Went up to the attic and saw mold all over ac unit in and out. Mold under 3 layers of flooring in laundry room.
22 days without proper heat. I have contacted the company several times. They don't seem the least bit concerned. It's currently 19 degrees outside and we can't run our heat properly. What a joke this company is. I cannot wait to get out of this lease. I will never consider this company again. And I will steer anyone and everyone I know away from this company.
I rented a home from MSR from June 2021 to June 2022 and it was the worst rental experience of my life (I have rented several homes and apts in my 60 years). The main sewer line clogged 7 times in 12 months and the repair response was terrible. Anywhere from 2 to 7 days despite numerous phone calls, on hold for 30 to 45 minutes at a time, calls for emergent service and numerous emails. 2 months prior to my lease termination an inappropriate utility charge was placed on my account despite utilities in my name paid monthly with no residual balance ever. After 7 phone calls, several emails including one showing a zero balance utility bill no resolution. I was never allowed to contact the "utility billing dept" from which this charge was generated. At the end of the lease this inappropriate charge was deducted from my security deposit. I am considering legal action for resolution.

No one knows how to get anything done. 4 open and closed work requests to get a refrigerator fixed/replaced. No ice, no cold food, no way to store food x 8 days. Kept telling me because I'm exposed on a daily basis to covid, they cant fix anything. I am a healthcare worker and exposed to a lot more serious things on a daily basis but they won't help you if you work in the medical field. My advice. LIE! Don't answer the "survey". Had an issue with the water in my shower. Scalding hot water only in the bathroom shower no cold water. Put in a service request and got no response. Waited a couple of days and nothing... I called and they told me it hasn't made their schedule yet and there was nothing they could do...

I'm a mother of 5 and I have a housing assistance voucher for a 4 bedroom. This company purposely held my voucher for an extreme length of time TWICE. For two differnt house so I can be beat by cash renter's. I applied for a home on Jan 4,2023 and on Jan 6,2023 my credit and background check was approved and ALL needed documents were sent via email along with uploading them to the website. They confirmed that they did not need ANY other documents since Jan 6,2023. On Jan 24,2023 almost 3 weeks later the home was purchased by a cash renter. My voucher was NEVER filled out nor sent to clearwater housing authority for an inspection which they admitted that the delay was their fault BOTH times. They are purposely and openly discriminating against low income single families. This is a shameful, deceiving, untrustworthy company

Answer: Don't bother... waste of money for an overpriced house. Their customer service is terrible. They give you the run around and the techs they send out are not certified. Look like people the just find off the street and hire for a repair to do. My husband and I are currently looking for an attorney to get out of this lease. We've only been renting from them for 4 months and have had SOOO many problems with this house. Look else where.
