They decline to issue a refund for one of my flights and continue to tell me to go back to the airline for my refund. The are just awful. They will take your money away and you can kiss good bye to it. Never use them for anything.
More than 6 months ago I requested a refund for my tickets, because my flight was cancelled.
I have contacted airline company and found out that they refunded my money to My Trip in March 2022. About 1000 $.
I have been waiting for my refund and any updates for more than 6 months. My trip received my money, but decided not to tell me anything and did not refund it.
My trip has been using my money for 6 months and hidden that fact. They keep saying that Currently they are facing a massive workload due to the current situation, and they are unable to give me the exact time for the refund.
This is 100% scam.
I went thru Kayak to purchase a flight for my Mom to San Francisco so she could be with my Dad who was in the hospital and just diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. I purchased flight with travel insurance. The my trip website changed the flight a day earlier then what i entered. When my mom got to the airport, the ticket was invalid because it was the wrong day. Had to pay direct thru airline for another ticket. When I contacted My trip, I was outsourced to Indian speaking male who kept quoting different policies as to why I was not entitled to a refund. The guy then proceeded to tell me that my Mom's return flight was no longer valid since she missed the first leg of the trip. Total Bull $#*!. Which I told him it was as I cussed him out completely. I contacted the airline direct, and the flight was still valid. Screw My Trips and they can go to hell. Hopefully someone close this company as the frauds they are.
Been charged for rebooking change that it turns out today - after weeks of chasing - could NEVER BE MADE because no change is allowed by airline.
They've done nothing to help fix their mistakes and misinformation.
They spam you with useless emails from disconnected chats to cover themselves as if that's service, but the actual important feedback is sent to spam folder and never mentioned, until now.
Unaware of this feedback.I'm told I need to rebook.dozens of chats and 25+ people call queue, 45 min calls … on hold, disconnected, transferred back and forth dozens of times … I've been chasing them for weeks to find solution …just to be told the Airline does NOT allow any rebooking on this flight.

Charges for extra bags but doesnt provide it on all the flights. Expect to pay extra somewhere in your journey and expect to be treated like an idiot. Lies about your baggage trying to scam you to pay so you could get a backpack to the plane.
If you think you will be informed about visa or something crucial - absolutely not.
Customer support puts you on hold for 15min when they cannot answer your question and replies with vague randomness.

Booked a flight and paid 2 times the airline price for baggage. I kept checking the airline site for my booked bag but it never showed up.
I called MyTrip twice (50 minutes each time) and they assured me the bag would get booked.
I called the day before my flight and they said to not worry as it would be booked 8 hours prior to departure.
Showed up at the airport and no checked bag paid for so I had to pay the (high) price at the kiosk.
Afyter the flight I called MyTrip 2 times (again 50 minutes on hold) and sent 2 emails to support but no way to get a refund.
Pay the extra $30 with another agency as save yourself the hassle!
I bought a ticket flight international Brazil/ Rome and they say in not included luggage and want charge me more than 100 euros, I never saw this before an international flight without luggage. And I sent an email to customer service more than 10 days and never get some answer.
I searched for a flight with them from Toronto. When booking, it said departure from Toronto. After booking, it said departure is Kitchener (2+ hours away). I then called and they don't help out as their phone lines are inexistent. It says there are 25+ people before you on the line but nobody actually picks up so it is a scam. Will be filing a complaint with Consumer Protection Ontario.
They charge my purchase twice, did not cancelled my booking. Told me to cancel my booking with the airline for a refund, and then they only returned 67 pounds from 300 pounds they were supposed to refund.

When I received the confirmation email of my booking with the travel dates, I realized that my return date was incorrect. I called the airline directly and they had to cancel the flight since it was booked as a one way and was within the 24 timeframe. The airline refunded the return flight back to MyTrip to issue back to me. When I called MyTrip to follow up on the refund, they informed me that there is a $114.00 handling fee on all cancellations and changes regardless of it being done within the 24 hour time. This is completely unacceptable and I will never book through a third party site ever again. They did offer the possibility of waiving the fee if I emailed their customer service center. After 3 months of waiting, 3 follow up emails, I received two auto replies stating that their cancellation fee applies because of all the work they have to do to cancel the flight, that was already cancelled by the airline directly. This company is a joke.

Have called multiple times, been on hold for hours each time. Call always gets dropped and no one calls back. The second time I called, person said they couldn't rebook my flight time because airline website was down. I was promised a call back and/or email and have not received either. I paid additional money for flexible flight so that no one helps me rebook. I asked for a phone number to file complaint and was told there was only an email, which I confirmed twice. After emailing, I received a "Address Not Found
It was not a smooth check out multiple times it kept saying there was an error and that I couldn't pay and each time that would happen the price kept increasing. I feel like it's a tactic to lure people with low flight prices and then they say there's an error with payment to keep raising prices.
We bought tickets for Cape Verde island hoping, oh how nice and exciting. Now months later they email us and say the flights are cancelled, which is not true I spoke the the airline, and that we should pay 70 pounds to get new advice. When asked about the money for the cancelled flights... I'm so *******@XZz@. Fff mad I could spit blood.
I have booked two-way tickets from Europe. Due to COVID, airlines canceled the flights. I have been trying to reach them via telephone (I have tried from different countries as well), no response. The only mode of response is through email, which takes forever to deliver a reply. It's been more than 4 months, recently i have received a link to pay handling charges to initiate a refund. This is crazy that it dawned to them after 4 months that I have to pay money to proceed further. The experience with them is daunting, I am looking for ways to press charges or other kind. Such a stress to get our hard earned money! Never recommend to anyone.
The company showed that a round trip ticket from Manila to Austin would be $1,241 per person. I entered all the information for 2 passengers and the credit card information. It then told me that the price on the ticket had gone up by $220 and would I accept it. Instead of saying no, I made the mistake of accepting the price change. I immediately called the company to cancel the flights. Even though one can cancel flights at no charge for a 24 hour period they charged me $45 a person, or $90, for administrative fee for the cancellation. HORRIBLE COMPANY!
This is by far the worst customer service i've ever recieved. I tried to be understanding regarding the whole situation but when it's been nearly 3 weeks and my flight is closing it, I am not even able to do anything, even now as I try and go to the seperate sites of the flights, my booking couldn't be found and yet I have not gotten any return of my money nor a reply from the customer service regarding this manner.
If you ever plan on traveling, I would strongly recommend you to stay as far away from mytrip as possible.
Was left stranded at Siem Reap airport because this tinpot effort of a travel agent didn't inform us of a flight change. Had to pay for another flight to avoid messing up other pre planned trips. Tried to get a refund but got more chance knitting fog... TOTALY USELESS CUSTOMER SERVICES JUST KEEP PUTTING YOU ON HOLD AND FOBBING YOU OFF!
Would rather take the chance of booking a trip on the TITANIC with a bloke in the pub rather than trusting these muppets with my travel plans

We booked 12 tickets with them but unfortunately we had to cancel them within 24 hours and almost 3 weeks before the flights. They sent us the cancelation conditions, a lot of money to be lost by us!
We tried to get a better offer from them, but no answers to our emails.

My flight is in less than 24h and they told to wait up to 72h for confirmation but their policy is up to 12 h. Stay away
Right after my wedding I booked accidentally a ticket on my maiden surname. I send them a certification of my marriage and they said the changing of my name is in progress. That's 2 months ago. Since than I called several times and they told me it's still in progress. Tomorrow is the flight and today I called again and they told me it's not possible to change the name. Now I don't know if they will let me flight tomorrow with a different name... I really feel fooled.

Answer: NO! They won't provide any service, unless you pay a penalty. Even if you need assistance for a situation that is outside your responsibility. This is really the type of sales an marketing organizations that ads nothing, just takes commissions and turns away when they need to deliver. Stay away!
