I get nothing short of first class service with a smile and they work hard finding the parts I need and if they don't have it stocked it's here the next day by 11 am great job guys will be doing buissiness for many years into the future thank you very much
Make sure sure you check parts an number matches box order a blower resistor for customers diagnose there self and was just a blown fuse went to return they said was wrong part in box now out a 160 dollars Make sure to check everything when purchasing from napa in Roanoke Rapids nc they lost a valuable customer over 160 dollars versus the 15 thousand I spend a year working on other people's car
I have been a loyal Napa customer for over 25 years as a commercial customer. I am finding the prices I am getting as a commercial shop are outrageous. For example I stopped by last week to pick up a 50 foot box of 3/4" silicone heater hoses. Of course they did not have any in stock they would have to order it. I was quoted over $16.00 per foot. The local semitruck dealers sell it for $4 per foot. Aftermarket oil and fuel filters at my shop cost are 15% to 35% higher than OEM brand filters.
Quality is getting horrible. I had a 39MT starter for a Peterbilt fail after 1 day. GM power steering hoses fail at 13 months, 1 month out of warranty. And don't get me started on their Dorman brand junk parts that rarely ever fit right. I found a cheap crap Chinese gas filter for a Cadillac in their Gold box, yes it leaked! I can go on. Napa is becoming a big disappointment.
I'm about sick of having to come back because they don't have enough money in the drawer to cover a core deposit. Put some money in your drawers so I don't have to come back seven times to get my core deposit back. I don't have time for this, third time I've brought back calipers and they didn't have enough money in the drawer. Yeah, four people running a register and between the four of them they couldn't come up with $170.
The Good: Other parts stores mostly seem to have the exact same parts; NAPA often has stuff they don't.
The Bad: Online order pricing. My recent order showed three different prices, depending on whether your believed the email from PayPal, the email from NAPA, or what PayPal showed when the dust had settled. All other businesses get this right, so I don't want to hear the excuses. Also, they often fail to send a "Your NAPA Order is Ready" email, no matter how long you wait. It's happened to me multiple times, so it's a real issue that needs to be fixed.
The Ugly: Sometimes the site is wrong about which parts will and won't fit your car. Attached photos show a tail-light socket they said wouldn't fit fitting perfectly, and they weren't offering any other option.
Why is Napa still in business. The sell nothing but crap part. 95% of the parts I get are defective. I do believe this is fraud. I'll have my lawyer look into it. Don't buy from crapa. You are wasting time. The part you get probly will be defective I'd go elsewhere and avoid the hassle and time wasting

HORRIBLE experience. I purchased 6 oil sample kits from NAPA store on December 7. I submitted 5 to Atlanta for oil analysis via UPS on Dec 10,2022. They were received on Dec 13,2022. I called today as I have not received the reports. After a run around and dealing with an offshore call center i get in touch with ALS Triology in Atlanta. They tell me that NAPA has not paid their bill and are not doing any analysis until they are paid the back funds they are owed. What a way to do business. I contacted a marina in Morehead City and they had the same experience in December. I want the analysis that i paid for. I can not wait to write an article to the local newspaper editorial department about my experience. Please help me rectify my situation before i am forced to do this. Thanks

Always love laying on my back on a cold floor changing a starter twice, because the Jack Wagon buyers@ NAPA, chose to buy Chinese or Mexican crap. Starter bolt holes for my '78 Chevy are SAE, not metric. Had to get cleaned up & return the starter & wait until the next day to get the right one. Luckly, we had an extra car to use.
Tip for consumers:
Ask before you buy if the part is OEM or SAE.

Yesterday I purchased a fan motor resistor (resistor only, no fan motor) for a 2011 Honda Fit from a NAPA dealer near me for $64 and change plus sales tax. Thought it was a little high but it is what it is. I installed it in minutes and checked on line at a few different parts houses. Most of them were less than $25.00 for the same part. So, if you are thinking about purchasing parts from NAPA, check around BEFORE you get OVERCHARGED like I did. Our company has dealt with NAPA for many years but their competitor in our area will now get my business. So long NAPA.
I purchased 5 quarts of Mobil synthetic oil to get a free cooler. What a JOKE they said they ran out. I sent the form in March 17 2020 with a deadline of April 14 2020 waited 3 months and called to have them then tell me they ran out. Never again NAPA your SUCK
The sales guy swore these where awesome lights so purchased two on sale for $40. Put them in 2000 Honda CRX - One of the old bulbs died. They where just marginally brighter than the oem bulbs removed and did not throw the light out any farther. I purchased some Philips X-treme Vision +130% bulbs and they are way brighter and cheaper. Also compared them to lights I have in PT Cruiser Sylvania Silverstars and the 5 year old bulbs are brighter even with oxidized lenses.
One thing is that the Napa premium bulbs all have blue coating over entire bulb surface and a gold top. Silver reflects better. Sales gimmick... The envelope was also bigger on the Napa bulbs so the point source is larger spilling out more light on the sides. Since the envelope is bigger the blue coating cut out even more light. Both Sylvania and Phillips bulbs are only 50% coated.
My name is Eddie. I live right outside of Woodbury N.J. I was is my local NAPA location this past weekend and was helped by Rob (whom I presume is the manager of this location), and I wanted to compliment him and NAPA on a job well done. Rob was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, and is an all around good man. NAPA is blessed to have Rob as an employee, and I'll be returning to this location in the future for the things I need.
Bad online payment process. Confusing setup. Invoices and statement are both listed as options to pay - such that a person could process a payment for both. Prior bill pay process was much better than this garbage. Last month - set to process a payment at 3:30pm on the 10th - to take advantage of the payment discount. Site would not allow the discount after 3pm on the due date. Get with the rest of the world! Continued poor service with Napa!
Tip for consumers:
Always be careful if using Napa Auto Parts

Advance Auto Parts - any vendor but Napa. We only use Napa when no one else has the product. They overcharge in comparison to other vendors. Sales people do not advocate or follow through for customers. Horrible on Napa Tracs products, communication and payment process.
I bought a premium battery for my waverunner. It was kept on a battery minder when not in use. The battery would not hold a charge after 2 years. I bought it at Napa in southern Oregon while on vacation. I took it to the Napa on Columbia Blvd in Portland. They told me they only honored warranty of stuff bought at their. No more business with them
This is by far the rudest and unhelpful customer service team I have been involved through any buying transaction. It does not make any favour to the in store personal.
In the Perrine store that I visited today there is a gentleman Gio Martinez that has exceptional customer service he is very kind, helpful has a smile on his face and goes above and beyond and exceeds by expectations. Gio is awesome!
Purchased an inline 12-volt fuel pump from the NAPA in Stigler, Oklahoma. Fuel pump lasted less than 1 hour run time. This was a $50 fuel pump. Had my receipt and was told by the manager that NAPA wouldn't replace or refund cost of pump. Purchased pump 12/20/21 asked for return or replacement on 3/8/22.
Ordered on-line, parts were in stock so I waited for the ready to pick up notice. 5 hours later I decided to call, I was asked by sales person if I got a notification e-mail. (Why would I call if I got notified) so I said no I haven't. Sales person said then it wasn't ready and I would be notified when it was. I explained how it was taking a long time and he said that maybe she was waiting on delivery. So I told him to cancel order. Then he asked what was the order # and I told him. He said he had them in stock and I could come and pick up. Jumped in car, drove down to store not a single customer in store except me while there were at least 4 people working. The salesman was very nice and apologetic claimed he did not know why she did not pull it sooner, then thanked me for my business as I left with my parts, whole day lost to incompetency.
Ordered a gas can, Napa sends car Mirror. I return car mirror and get the run around trying to get my money back. Get excuses like the system is down, try again tomorrow or we'll process which they don't. It is a scheme to keep your money. DO NOT ORDER FROM NAPA
Thank you NAPA. I was stranded in town. A kind person gave me a jump and I drove to NAPA Auto Parts in Roosevelt Utah. They had the required battery and installed it in my car. Thank you NAPA for your 5 star customer service.
Order parts for our Freight Liner truck. Gave the VIN#, year and model of the truck.
Sent the wrong Alt, oil filter, they sent 4 DIFFERENT SHOCKS, none of them are right. Never got the oil.
Was told we could take it to local restore for return. CAN'T. Was told to return them UPS, we did, 3 weeks later they shipped them back saying not returnable.
Local Napa store got it 100% right and truck is all happy and serviced. ONLINE IS 100% sham!
I placed an online order. When I called to see if it was ready they couldn't find my order. When I placed the order I was given a rebate code. No one in the store knows who to put an offer code in the system. Wanted me to wait for the manager. Smh. I will never come back again
My 3 experiences this year with Napa have been a 100% disaster. First, I don't look like the mechanic type. I don't know if that's the reason but I swear every time I step into a Napa they look at me like I don't belong there. 4 to 5 people behind the counter yet NO ONE will help me. They are sure to do their stocking/computer work or take a phone call and make you wait until you are last. Not a good business model for a customer who took the time to drive there. Second, most are independently owned, and will NOT take a return from any other NAPA. Total pain in the rear when you happen to be far from home and get a part which you later don't need. Once I even had an unused $4 banjo bolt with receipt from 3 days earlier, and they refused to take it back because they were an independent store. Next time I will stick with Autozone, O'Reilly, or Advanced Auto, all which have lower prices anyway. Advanced Auto will even deliver small orders for free to my house. See you in the history books NAPA!
I had recently ordered two brake calipers from the online store for pickup at my nearest location; what was sent was two "core" returns (pics). The store I picked them up from won't take them back and Napa doesn't seem to want to forward my case (5+days now). Not only that but I had to purchase two working calipers, and took my used ones back for my "core" deposit and only received $50 on the $80+ "core" deposit! What a load of bull! NAPA CAN GUARANTEE I NEVER SHOP WITH YOU AGAIN!

purchased a battery , used it for few hrs, then battery was dead. the store on San mateo, Albuquerque, would not accept the information on the battery as their's and would not accept credit card proof of purchase. told them Autozone doesnt give you this much problem to change the company's own battery and within warranty period. the sales person said he underestood my decision to ourchase from Aitozone to Riley's....
NAPA recently bought two of our local family owned auto parts stores. Which have been operating since 1958. NAPA is horrible at getting parts to customers. I'll be taking my business elsewhere.
Went to get parts at the store on causeway blvd employee Luis, made bad comments about my make of vehicle, made me very mad, should keep comments to himself
