After Order, through shipment tracking, revealed made in China in an area with one of the worst human rights records. Took over two weeks to come from China. Product is disgusting, cheap as hell and horrible to wear. Would never recommend or deal with these people EVER again!

Products were disappointing and therefore considered seriously overpriced.
The sizing is now on the small size whereas it used to be accurate.
Delivery was slow.
Overall not a good experience this time round.

My son loves his new pants. Shipping was stressful. 2 confirmed delivery dates by Canada post were missed with no word. When I last tracked the shipping number it said status unknown only to be delivered the next day. If you can wait, they are great. They are not made on Canada.

Bought the Explorer summer men's pants. Size 34 waist and 32 leg as I usually buy(actually I get 33/32 in most cases when 33 waist is available). Waist was ok ( note they come with elastic band) however crotch was abnormally long resulting in length from crotch (drooping) to leg bottom resulting in baggy fitting in front and a longer than normal length.

Northbound's policy says one had to pay for return if not defective, and after several discussions the manufacturer said not defective.

Return postage costs were $21 plus tax so makes a return hardly cost effective with this cost and $5 fee for return. So not returned and I'm out $100.

These pants might fit you if you like them as high riders and/or have at least a 33 leg length. Otherwise choose another design and clothing supplier.

Poor fit, poor quality trousers. The static generated by the synthetic fabric is fearsome. The website offers easy, no questions asked returns, I have waited over 2 weeks for Northbound to tell me how. They are not communicating so I have initiated a dispute with PayPal in an effort to reclaim my money.

Good communication with seller, little bit slow delivery, but item arrived well packaged, in great condition, true to size and advertised description.
I tried them in moderate rain we had shortly after arrival and they worked exceptionally well!

Fairly easy process to order and great follow up if any issues.
So I got the pants and they have exceeded my expectations! I thought some of the reviews were possibly exaggerated or created by someone other than a paying customer but after wearing my pants every day since receiving them I can confirm that they have been warm, comfortable and durable so far. Love them!
P.S. I live on an acreage in northern Alberta!

Hi folks. Very pleased with the goods I've received. And considering that ordered from Canada & delivered from China, came quickly & smoothly.
Excellent customer care. Someone even emailed me to say that they were chasing things up to make sure they went through ok.
Would definitely shop again.

Delivery took almost a month. Sizing said "true" but my measurements were off leaving pants way too big. Rather than return for exchange and waste more time, I have a seamstress making alterations to reduce from size 40 to 36-38. However I do like design and material of pants

It took 3 weeks to receive my order. In this day and age, that is way too long. Not sure if it's just cheap shipping, or the USPS, but I expected better.

The pants come off way too sweaty parts like. I was a little disappointed with the styling.

I opened the package to wrap the pants and belt separately for Xmas and am very, very disappointed to find neon orange zippers on the grey pants! There are no views of orange zippers in photos or mentions of any contrasting zipper colours in any descriptions specifically for the charcoal colour.

The reason we didn't choose black? Orange zippers. Not choosing green? Contrasting knee panels. Looking for something a little more refined. So I'm absolutely dumbfounded to see orange. I'm furious.

Luckily they will still be warm. I still believe in your company. Just change the photo from "artfully" covering the pocket! The charcoal pants look otherwise like they could be an Everywhere pant. If only you represented them accurately in your photos…

Pros:In terms of the product received, love the pants and will likely order another pair.

Cons: the shipping to Canada was painfully slow. I think it took close to a month to receive them.

Lastly, I hate being bombarded with promotional emails multiple times daily. You literally flood my email box. As a fellow marketer, I feel you are shoving your brand down my throat and it's a major turnoff.

Look elsewhere! Do not purchase from this company. Purchased 3 items which 2 need to be returned due to very short jacket sleeve length. To return both items will be $66.00! $10.00 is for restocking? I guess it takes a lot to toss into some closet. They will apologize for the cost but I have STILL not received an item that was ordered over a month ago and nobody knows where that item is even with a tracking number? Scam company.

In the days of overnight, 2 or 3 day, even 7 day deliveries, waiting almost 3 weeks for my paid for items is not acceptable to me. I suggest not using the postal service as they are government employees and funded by tax dollars, which makes them inefficient compared to FedEx or other private couriers.

I have ordered before and the product is well made and of good quality fabric. I wear them while biking in cold weather, while riding my ATV, and for early morning cold walks and activities. They keep you warm and are water resistant without feeling hot and sweaty.
The website indicates free shipping but consumers know it is rolled into the price, no big deal. I would rather pay a few bucks more for a common courier. Three weeks from Ontario to BC? Tracking is questionable, but that is not the fault of Northbound but rather of Canada Post.
It's a pretty decent product overall - warm, tough and easy to wear and wash..

My pants from Northbound gear have been great so far. Came in handy for outdoor activities during a recent snow storm and frigid temps. The shipping is a bit slow and wish that could be more efficient, but the product is A+

I ordered a regular- but size 6 pants were way too long; I returned the pants but had to pay $22 for international mail as this is a Canadian company- it stated free exchanges but there was no indication that return postage would be paid for. Everything (receiving goods, getting an OK to exchange) took a long time (almost a month to receive goods) (a week to get return confirmation). Still not sure my order has been received and/or exchanged in Canada (for a petit, which I hope will mean regular length pants).

Overall very good! I rarely give five stars but that doesn't mean I'm not happy with the purchase. Pants fit well and are very comfortable. I've only worn them around the house so far, so I don't know how well they perform in the bush. The belt works well and is also comfortable. It's a little noisy but a good design and seemingly well built. Will know more with time. I haven't used the socks yet but look forward to trying them on my next excursion. Only downside, and take this however you want, I'd like to see more products made in Canada, or elsewhere, not China.
