Northbound Gear

Great outdoor gear, I'm ready for cold, rainy nights outside with Pete the Dog. It hasn't been very cold yet, so I am fine with just a t-shirt under the jacket, it is so warm. Been out in rainstorms and I feel comfortable and dry. We plan on some mountain hikes soon.

Facebook advert, took a chance, and not disappointed. From price to order an delivery it was a good experience. Sizing was excellent and the flex material is phenomenal, quality did not disappoint either. My wife said the look and feel amazing. Thank you Northbound gear!

Great company, great products, was missing an item from my first order but was sent a replacement immediately without question. Hope to buy again but the only issue is the courier delivery company, they are totally unreliable. If companies would use the national postal and parcel delivery company for its I would have no issue with online shopping.

I am quite offended by the addition of the tip function at check out. Just about did not order. With how much prices have gone up on everything I am triggered by machines that think up to a 25% tip is reasonable and automatically earned

I love the pants. They are exactly as described. Windproof, water proof, etc. The challenge is shipping and handling. It took weeks for my order to actually be processed and once it was shipped, it took an inordinate amount of time to reach me (technically only one state over--based on where it was shipped from).

Ordered a second pair of waterproof pants and shipping took almost 3 weeks. My phone calls were not returned and emails took a week or more to be answered: I will not be doing business with this company in the future,

Unfortunately I ordered the wrong size for one of the jackets - while Northbound Gear provided a prompt returns address, posting back to Canada is costly and time-consuming. The perils of shopping online but our other jacket fits me beautifully and the quality is excellent - hopefully, a correctly fitting jacket will arrive soon for my wife.

Design and fabric used in the winter clothing is very good value. Delivery timeframe acceptable, return process a breeze. Have returned a couple of items due to sizing. Have purchased some summer clothing as yet un used, not so happy with the look of the fabric, looks cheap and hot, bring on summer and no doubt my mind will be changed. Pretty much live in my winter jeans so high standard to follow.

This company doesn't have inventory, they take your order then place it with their supplier in China and you wait, and wait, and wait. Customer service will respond with a copy/paste response, absolutely no help. Any additional inquiries are ignored. Order placed 11/29/21, shipping label created in the US. They scan the label every few days but the package never moves. It must hit customs before it gets to USPS. The "warehouse" address belongs to a UPS store! Buyers beware.
3/18/22- addition. I received the order 28 days after it was placed but wasn't correct. Engaged with CS the same-day package arrived, sent the requested picture of the incorrect product. The "replacement" has a label created 12/28/21 but I have yet to receive what I ordered! CS continues to respond with we are talking to the carrier... coming up on 3 months now and STILL don't have the product I ordered from them and zero help from CS.

I have been purchasing Northbound Gear for many years now. Adventure Water Resistant pants and Jeans, Tactical Jackets and other accessories for personal use and as gifts for both young and more senior men and women ( 90's).
I find that they run true to size, are durable and are constructed of quality materials. The designs incorporate thoughtful planning appropriate to use.
The company and staff have been readily available and supportive in response to questions.

I originally ordered 1 pair of the men's pants for $119.00. When I received my Visa bill I sent an email to you requesting a clarification regarding the amount on my Visa bill. It stated $100. And $30.00. I want to know what's the issue with clarifying what I spent and why these 2 different price entries. These two prices do not reflect what I ordered. I requested clarification and still have not received it. This certainly deters me from formulation any further purchases. I want an explanation please.

I got my Northbound Gear Company adventure pants and wore them day hiking out on the Appalachian Trail here in GA the next day. They are super comfortable and cozy. I will say, that I will probably only wear them when it is really cold, which will be necessary here in a few weeks. The only issue I have is that they run a bit large, so I need a belt. I am usually a solid 12 and the 12 is pretty baggy on me. Otherwise, a superior product that I'm looking forward to wearing on those colder hikes.

Shopping on the site was straightforward. Despatch was prompt and delivery was quick. Was very pleased with the fit - I wish more products had variable leg lengths for each waist size. Overall, a really positive experience.

Took absolutely ages for delivery. It is not made clear when ordering that delivery is from Canada and if you want to return you have to pay for return shipping to... Canada. Quality of jacket is not good - loose stitching, hood way too small, side pockets that you can't get your hands in, arms are too tight. Had to order a size up - based on the reviews Only good thing is the material. If I could afford to send it back then I would. Also ordered a hat which is OK but it doesn't have a label for washing instructions. Here in the UK we expect items of clothing to have washing details and information about what it is made from and country of manufacture.
